Côte Woking

We had an excellent lunch in very pleasant surroundings and were served very well by friendly staff who seemed to care about providing us with a happy experience.

The overall experience was good. Friendly staff, food good, clean and tidy. I do object to 12.5% service charge being added before you bill arrives. Tipping should be optional not expected. It takes the edge of what otherwise was a positive dining experience.

Service was excellent but unfortunately my steak was cold when served. So cold that the garlic butter sauce hadn't melted. Profuse apologies were offered and compensation by way of a free desert which was declined with thanks. A one off blip in the normally excellent meal. I will still come back.

Lovely breakfast as always. Coffee is good and service is fast and efficient. It is always busy and shows how popular Code is in Woking. Will be back.

Just stopped in for a quick coffee and pain au raisin. As always the services was fast and efficeint. The pain au Raisin was warm and delicious ans so were the coffees. Cote Woking has a nice atmosphere. We will be back.

Service was good and the staff very friendly. Busy relaxed environment and fun pre-theatre dinner. Food was ok and efficiently served. Thank you very much.

Great night at Cote as usual. My only criticism is that they do not have enough vegetarian options, my family are all vegetarian so that makes it difficult.

We have never been to the Cote at Woking before but found it as first class as our other experiences at Dorking, Horsham and Guildford. Very friendly and efficient staff and superb food as always at Cote.

We had a fantastic family date night dinner, with excellent service, lovely music, a wonderful atmosphere and a great menu selection. Thoroughly enjoyed by my daughter, myself and my husband!

The food order was wrong and we were not asked how we wanted our steaks cooked. The birthday cake I took in with candles for my daughter were not put on the cake as instructed, the cake came out with only one candle on and it wasn't even one of mine, really disappointed as my daughter was 24yrs and looked really gutted that I didn't bother. The steaks were chewy, however they were apologetic and gave my daughter a bottle of champagne.

Great evening prior to theatre. Excellent value meal before 7pm. Friendly staff and service and would consider returning for a future event when meeting friends.

Another enjoyable breakfast at Côte. Very prompt service, coffee was good and my scrambled eggs were hot (I hate it when they arrive only lukewarm). We will go again

We really liked the meal but when we ordered a gin and tonic and vodka and tonic stupidly not specifying a brand, they gave us the most expensive. Very naughty

The food was excellent, well presented and the service friendly and efficient. the eating area is light airy and very pleasant with no intrusive noise.

Once again we were not very impressed. The food was okay but service was poor. This seems to be a real problem in this branch which is a shame as it used to be excellent. Maybe they are having staffing issues, as we have been regular customers but most of the staff seemed new, but that doesn't excuse poor service or lack of training,

Great food, good service, pleasant environment. We have always had a good experience at Cote in Woking, as well as other branches. We enjoyed Cote Woking during the hot summer as they can open up the glass doors across the front - very continental!

Great food as usual, friendly service. Kids love going there.

Food tasty and very good value for money. Staff polite, good service. The only down side is that it's a little too noisy for me, perhaps music could be a touch softer, but I guess it's to be expected on a Friday night.

Great atmosphere and good choices on the menu including the set menu which is really good value. I love the iced berries with white chocolate. We come often to Cote and it's always a good experience.

The set menu was delicious and service was exceptional. For a quick 3 course meal I wouldn't go anywhere else.

I am never disappointed - food is good and service is excellent. It’s also quick and breakfast is good value.

We had the set lunch menu, very good value for money, portions just right for lunch & very tasty. Service was very good. The only niggle I have is the chocolate pot was a bit grainy this time, usually it’s very smooth & silky, so not quite up to the usual standard, how’ever overall standard was very good.

Attentive staff. Speedy service and delicious food. I have never been disappointed with Cote and it’s always my ‘Go to’ when going to the theatre.

Nothing but a 6. Lovely gesture by the manager who served us sparking rose wine to spare my embarrassment at booking for the previous day (the wrong day). Sheer stupidity on my part. I only realised when I received an email asking me to review my meal!! I hastily re-booked and explained what had happened in the comment box. Anyhow, long story short. It all ended well and we had a brilliant meal. We all had the set two course menu. i had my favourite starter (Egg & Bacon salad.......totally fab) as I'm not a pudding person and we all had the steak and frites for mains. Pudding for the girls (including my 86year old mum) were all the same (frozen berries and white chocolate sauce). Mum loved it all and has demanded to come again...!! All i can say is thank you to the team at Cote Woking. You'll see us very soon...including my Mum.

Good food, friendly staff but had to remind the waitress a couple of times about drinks we’d ordered, but on two separate occasions. Food needed extra seasoning. Have had better experiences here in the past. But overall a good experience.

Normally excellent but we were disappointed with the food this time around. The artichokes were very hard and the chicken was drier than it should have been.

We enjoyed our evening - the food was good and the service efficient. the only downside was from the noisy diners at a nearby table. The problem is common to current day restaurants - the lack of soft furnishing and abundance of hard surfaces exacerbates the clatter and noise of loud patrons. Apart from that - it was good and we will come again - Margaret

Great experience. They were family friendly, provided very efficient service and there was a great menu selection to choose from. Highly recommended for a great meal.

Cote Woking is a good reasonably priced place to eat with plenty of choice.The day we visited the staff were not quite on the ball and we had to request items that had been ordered but not served. Also the background music was a little too loud for conversations to be easily heard. We would still book to eat there in future.

Had a lovely evening meal from the a la carte menu, taking advantage of the free gin and tonic. Steak tartar and prawns followed by lamb and pork rounded off with chocolate mousse and a generous cheese board

As good as it always is. Cote never fails to turn up trumps on the food and service. Good value for money on the set menu, which changes constantly which is brilliant.

We had a lovely lunch. The whole experience was excellent from the booking process right through. I couldn't fault anything. Our waitress was excellent and the food was the best I have ever eaten at any Côte restaurant. Well done all!

Efficicient booking, polite and friendly staff, lovely food and a free gin and tonic with offer. What more can I say? I thoroughly enjoyed my fish pie (called something else in French!).
