Restaurant was packed, service very slow, food overcooked - felt like they couldn’t cope!

Our first visit and very impressed with service and food

Usually love this place but the steak (frites) was cold so returned, and replaced. The rocket salad with the chicken and chips was very limp. Not sure why they've started serving salad with the steak frites either, it spoils the dish. Oh well .....

We're regular patrons of Cote Woking. Consistently good service, atmosphere and value for money. The food is generally good quality, but on this occasion my wife's pork was served partly in a raw state with blood in the centre. This was remedied on complaint, but if not noticed could have led to food poisoning or worse still, a tape worm. Please improve your food quality control.

Lovely well executed meal, all the dishes ordered were delicious.

The staff were very attentive and friendly. We were celebrating my friend passing all her accountancy exams and finally becoming qualified qnd they gave us a complimentary glass of fizz each which was really lovely. I have been to Cote - Woking a fair few times now, it's one of our favourite places to go and I have never had a bad experience. Keep doing what you're doing and thank you for a lovely meal!

Early supper in Woking Cote good service and good food.

We were able to have the early set menu before going to the theatre. The choice of food was good the service was quick and the food really nice.

I booked a table online for the evening meal. The process was very easy and allowed us to entertain our Canadian friends, who were in town for a couple of days. Having dined regularly at the Cote establishment in Norwich, my wife and I are familiar and happy with the special Set menus, which do not fail to give value for money. Our table was fine and the service was very good. Our food arrived in good time and was most enjoyable. I have no problem in recommending this venue to others.

Female maitre d was v abrupt. We'd booked for a family birthday dinner and no mention was made to the birthday. She simply launched into what we could or couldn't have included in the deals even though half of our party had yet to arrive as we'd akready explained. At the end of our meal, we stayed chatting finishing our drinks but it was obvious she thought we should leave. She swept up some empty glasses without saying a word and leanimg iverv2 of our party. We felt unwelcome and left It was 9.15pm. The restaurant had around 6 tables with people so wasn't busy. Not impressed

Good, attentive service and food was as usual - high standard and well presented

With a vast menu and selection of set menus, there is always something for everyone, both taste and money wise. We always know that whether dining as a couple or small party before a theatre show, the service will be prompt and extremely efficient. Nothing is too much trouble. Always a warm welcome at Cote Woking!

Delicious tasty Seafood linguini and french onion soup. The nice mushroom risotto could have been presented better . The beef bourguignon was mediocre lacking in Gallic punchy flavour . Our waiter was helpful and efficient . We had asked for a cushioned booth / banquette on reservation and it was kindly honoured. The whole ambience was lovely. Would certainly return again .

Hugely disappointed with the frozen Berry dessert. White chocolate sauce was fine, but totally lost on the frozen berries which one can get in any super market freezer. Totally underwhelming and a big let down. The rest of the meal and the service as expected for Cote.

My dear friends and I met for a reunion dinner, woking being the 'half way point' for us all. The dinner was excellent and the staff very gracious allowing us time to 'catch up'. Thank you for your kind hospitality- it made our reunion very special...it's not a one off either, we'll be back! :)

Croute en boef was great. Seam bream was great. The beans with the bream looked good, but taste was poor unfortunately. They were really poorly cooked, poorly seasoned. I am 100% sure that in Cote Richmond this would taste so much better, and also in France so much better, obviously. The desserts were great.

Set menus is a good option - delicious food at a competitive price. Cote was busy on Friday evening. It is a popular place. I can see why, service is fast and efficient and food is good.

Celebrating our daughter’s 25th birthday, we chose Cote because of its m3nu choice. Food was very good, atmosphere great and service excellent

The service was excellent and the staff were very helpful. We enjoyed the prawn starter and then had chateaubriand. Although we asked for it to be cooked medium, it was much too underdone and we sent half of it back to be recooked. It came back with more chips and sauce which was nice, but it was still quite raw. I know the French like their meat raw, but perhaps you could cater more for British tastes in this respect, especially when requested.

Fabulous food, so delicious; and wonderful cocktails and wine. The service is impeccable, absolutely amazing, all the staff are delightful, helpful and very professional. I have visited many Côte restaurants in Surrey and London but the staff at Woking outshine all others and make Woking the most superior of all the Côte restaurants I have visited, thank you.
