Côte Woking

A busy Friday night, enjoyed a meal with a friend, the food arrived quickly and ut was very nice. A complimentary glass of Kir was welcome.

Great service and lovely food, perfect pre-theatre meal. The set menu had loads of choice and was very reasonable. Will definitely book again when going to the theatre

After a busy day, a late, late lunch/early supper was ideal. And as usual Cotes Woking provided the perfect setting and great food. With no fuss. Where did we go before Cotes came to town?

Excellent service and very nice atmosphere. Food ordered was very tasty. Had the chicken rapide dish. Would have chosen the set menu but didn't have time for two courses. Certainly would have been better value for money.

Quite a busy Saturday evening but welcomed and seated promptly, service a little creaky. Had to chase up silly things like a side we had ordered. Food good.

We went for a pre theatre meal, good choice on the menu & all our food was well presented & tasty. The staff were friendly attentive

Nice open restaurant. Service & food was great. Even there was a large party in that evening we were still looked after . The fixed price menu is a good deal.

Slightly disappointed because one main meal wasn't very hot and it took a while to resolve. The main was deducted from the bill, although I would have preferred it hot and eating at the same time as rest of our group.

Very Good service and great food, always a little bit put off by the 12.5% optional service charge. Seems to be what most restaurants do.

The staff were great and friendly. The food was good and the atmosphere in the restaurant buzzy. This was my second visit to Cote in Woking and both visits were very enjoyable.

Very relaxed atmosphere. The service was very attentive as the restaurant was not very busy on a Tuesday evening. The starter charcuterie board was tasty and the mains were very good. No room for pudding and thankfully no long wait for the bill at the end - why do restaurants do that? The only gripe was that the temperature was too low for the bank of windows to be open. Did the staff not notice that some diners had on coats and scarves. It may have been comfortable for waiting staff running around but not for the eaters sitting still so did not encourage lingering over a coffee.

Fantastic food we both had the prawn gratinee starter very good followed by the duck breast and cod special both excellent and good sized portions with the creme brûlée au citron special for desert Excellent service friendly and attentive. Thank you Cote for another lovely evening

Nice service and food but the main meals look cheapened with no sides offered. The watercress on the side is a poor effort to colour up a plate. I wouldn't rush back here. Dull seems to have list it's spark as a lush french brasserie.

Introduced a new friend from Kent for lunch at Cote a couple of weeks ago. She was so impressed that she's found her local Cote and will introduce members of her family to the Ashford branch. The manager, Khrystyna, was on duty and offered us all kir royales. As usual the food and service were excellent and we will be back again soon. Congrats to the team at the best restaurant in Woking.

Always a good meal, always good service and always leave happy. Staff are always friendly infact I think this is a pretty good all round experience

Staff are so lovely and attentive and good fun. Nothing is too much trouble. Food is always delicious and the atmosphere is great. Value for money particularly when you have the set menu and breakfast is just devine

Very nice food and good service. Just wish the portions were bigger. Cote manage to create a lovely ambience in the centre of Woking, not an easy thing to do.

Service was mostly attentive, food was good. Seemed understaffed and had to wait 5 minutes with another couple of diners at the door to be greeted and seated.

All in all a good evening. The food was lovely and the company excellent but we had to wait a long time for dessert. We alerted the waitress to this and then had another long wait. We raised the attention of the waitress again and they arrived very quickly then but one of the two ordered was the wrong dessert. This led to free Prosecco for each of us and a dessert for thte third person in our group who had not ordered (she was full and didn't really want a pud!) and one of the group doesn't drink alcohol! However, they had taken the desserts off the bill. So all in all we had a very good meal with free Prosecco and was able to see the funny side! Lots of texts between us followed about being so full (the one who didn't want a pud but got one anyway) and having to lie down to stretch our tums! We will likely go again, as we like the food and atmosphere at Woking Cote!

Lovely venue and great food. Sat near the open doors and enjoyed the whole evening. It's a great place, in the town centre and easy to find

Good location, friendly attentive staff and good food (excellent Breton chicken). Would recommend if in area. Very convenient for the town centre and train staton.

Set lunch menu not as impressive as the main menu. Chicken bacon and avocado salad was extremely basic with little flavour. Service in Woking is always courteous and professional, friendly attitude and very helpful.

Excellent service and food not bad for the price will visit again soon. They have a caring jolly staff how make you feel very welcome

Really nice restaurant and good atmosphere. Food really nice and good value, service was excellent but we were sat right under the air conditioning which was rather chilly which made my mussels go cold quickly! , but could have asked to be moved, overall a nice place and lovely food, would go back.

The ambience of the restaurant was excellent. The staff were excellent and attentive. A varied menu on the luncheon which seems to be revised regularly. The food was well presented beautifully prepared. Always worth another visit

Warm welcome. Efficient service. Able to co-ordinate our course choices. Noticed dirty bowl and changed it immediately. Speedy bill as going to theatre. Great experience

Good food, Good and efficient service . The place offered a nice atmosphere for all ages. Not too expensive. Worth a visit if you fancy a family lunch

Polite and friendly professional staff. We were early so took advantage of the "set offer choice" for before 7pm. My husband had chicken which he said was dry. I had asparagus and pea risotto which was very bland.

Efficient and friendly service. Great value menus with good variety. Lovely open feel to restaurant in the warm weather. Very relaxed atmosphere...wish we could have stayed longer!

My friends and I always enjoy visiting Côte. Food lovely, staff friendly and very efficient. Prices are reasonable and they have a good wine list too!

Great value brunch. Juice, latte and eggs benedict /full English for £9.95. Only issue was with the eggs benedict which weren't quite hot enough but this was very quickly sorted out for us. Felt like we were sitting outside as the concertina doors were pulled back. We will go again.

Excellent service from our waiter. Great food and atmosphere. Would definitely return again. My children loved it too !! Our waiter was extremely knowledgeable on the wines and helped us with our choice.

Staff were very attentive and helpful and food was lovely however there was building work going on opposite the restaurant and as the front windows were open the noise levels were very high which tainted an otherwise lovely meal

Table booked for 20:30, when we arrived the restaurant was fairly busy. We took our seats and inspected the menu, the reason I have rated it as a 4 was at 21:00 when we ordered our food, some of the starters were already off the menu. I can understand this at 23:00 not at 21:00. The service was good, but felt as we were the last one's in the restaurant we were being watched, hoping that we would leave.

Ran out of Peach Crumble dessert less than 30mins after the 7.00pm early evening menu cutoff time. Second time this has happened. Otherwise meal was nice.

We always enjoy our meals, whether brunch or dinner at Cote Woking. The staff are very professional and also friendly, helpful and alert to what is going on. This time, we sensed that the main waiter serving us might be new but he had clearly been well-trained to provide a good service. And thanks for not repetitively coming round to ask if we are enjoying our meal! We shall be back soon Michael and friends

It was okay, not brilliant. Lunch in the week is better Fillet steak did not look like fillet Lemon tarte very tart and not that nice Service okay

Not my first visit so can also praise the consistency of the excellent service, delicious food in a stylish setting. Last night we were celebrating a friends 70th Birthday and all of the aforementioned points made this a very special evening.

Went to Cote for the fourth time and again was not disappointed. Service good and helpful. Nothing seemed to much trouble. My guests had the duck which they enjoyed, I had chicken and my husband had the lamb. We did not feel rushed to leave so it was a lovely relaxing time enjoyed by all.

Was one of the best places I've dined at. The service starters and food was exceptional. The waiters took care and attention over us and it was an overall lovely idea experience. Will be coming back here.

Lovely lunch. So nice to sit outside and enjoy a kir and two course lunch. Prompt service which is great as we only had an hour.

Excellent service and lovely food. Although my terrine seemed rather too solid as though it might have just come out of the freezer. ALL THE OTHER PLATES WERE V GOOD. My £10 note blew away outside. And blew into through the door and a Cote man redeemed it for me!

The service was very quick and efficient. We enjoyed most of the food. However, the risotto was rather sloppy and tasteless so we wouldn't recommend that.

Clean, good service and good food, just what you would expect. Menu is good, plenty of choice, restaurant is fairly spacious , staff are good and attentive without being in your face, overall good experience.

A wonderful restaurant situated in the heart of Woking. Excellent service from friendly staff who are always on hand to help. Superb food from a menu that has something for everyone.

Meals all very nice - my party just loved the steaks - they were cooked to perfection. Service was excellent - nothing too much trouble.
