We had really fabulous service, they bent over back wards to help us, and the food was all really lovely. Also because there was a delay bringing out our desserts they gave us a large amount of our bill, which we really appreciated

Fabulous food, fabulous atmosphere and fabulous service. The staff are delightful and very professional, the food is delicious and the atmosphere is great which together makes for a lovely evening.

First class food and service. Made to feel comfortable and important. Not rushed or left to long when trying to get attention. watch 12.5 service charge on bill.

Great service. Lovely food and very reasonably priced. A good place for lunch or pre-theatre supper. I see they do breakfast too which I will definitely try.

Staff very pleasant and very obliging, the only thing that stopped me scoring Woking a six was the long wait for the main course and my meal could have been a bit warmer! Otherwise food great.

A very busy day during the lunch service but the food was, as usual, excellent. The staff were kept very busy with a full restaurant but were still attentive and efficient. The only shortcoming was a side order with the main course that was missed and arrived late, for which the staff apologised, otherwise our rating would be 6.

Consistently delicious food and always fantastic staff. Can’t say enough good things about the Woking Cote brasserie. That’s why we eat breakfast and dinner there so often. The best restaurant in Woking by far.

Lovely environment. Busy but not too busy. Staff are a bit over attentive. Set menu excellent value. Food lovely. Wine by the glass is expensive. Two glasses of wine were more expensive than two courses.

We had a lovely pre-cinema supper with two friends at Cote, Woking. The service and food were both excellent and the restaurant had a brilliant "Saturday evening" atmosphere. My husband and I regularly eat at Cote, Cobham also - some of the staff know what we drink and by the time we are seated and settled our drinks are on the table! Excellent.

As usual the service was excellent and our food was most enjoyable - the house wine is excellent ... We always have an early supper prior to going to either the cinema or theatre. Keep up the good work! Heather

Another lovely meal at Cote, Woking. We were welcomed on arrival and given a choice of table. The waiter was pleasant and friendly. The food and wine were excellent.

Service good but drink service a bit slow and food was lovely.

Staff always very polite and helpful and food is always good .

The food and the service were excellent. My only criticism is the automatic addition of a tip to the bill. I consider this to be poor practice. I would rather leave a cash tip of my choosing.

Great food, very good service, the only criticism the lighter was a bit too dark, those of us of more mature years found it a bit difficult.

The staff were friendly and efficient, the menu has a good range and the food and drink were good and not overpriced. It has a comfortable atmosphere- even on a cold wet Sunday evening.

Food good as always but what I love about this Cote is the staff. Service was excellent and they all seem so friendly. Slight mistake with the lattes being cold but they more than made up for this.

We received a pleasant welcome and excellent food. Ambience was very good with reasonably spaced tables and good service - as is normal in Cote's restaurants.

No problems, thought fougasse at 5 pounds overpriced. Pleasant staff, a couple of items (eg request for payment, asking if we’d like olives and bread, attempted by more than one person.

Great service and lovely food but not a huge choice on the 'mains' menu. Delicious puds! One pud we ordered was nor available, so we were given one one the house. Quite a steep 'optional' 12.5% service charge.

Friendly attentive service. Excellent fish pie, steak frites and Breton chicken. Very good desserts - creme brulee, creme caramel, chocolat fondant and apple tart. Excellent value. £22 per head for two courses AND a reward bottle of tasty Merlot. What more could you want? Not sure about turning down lighting at 6:0m though - a bit early for a romantic candle-lit dinner and we could not see the menu too clearly. This was the only downside

Enjoyed excellent meal with very quick service, even though the restaurant was busy. Early evening menu is superb value for money and the portion sizes are just right.

Lovely food and friendly, high quality service. Both child friendly and quiet. A lovely place to eat with friends and family. Would recommend to anybody.

Although there was a problem with the first course and an ingredient was lacking and the wine needed replacing, the manageress took it all in her stride and was charming. Well done!

The food and service were excellent as always! We always order the fougasse as a starter and are never disappointed. Côte is one of our favourites!

Whilst the restaurant, the service and menu are good, shame the food is bland and dull, especially the main courses. This was then confirmed by the waiter when i asked if the chefs were French, he joked and said no, they aren't really chefs, they are just 'ok' cooks following picture book recipes, anyone could do it. Really? The food quality felt as though it was just mass produced meals, similar to that you would get at a low budget, high volume dinner service, at a mediocre hotel, and when having to pay £120 for two people, you expect good food! And I think its a cheek adding on the service charge automatically, especially at 12%, let us decide if its worth it? Sadly, Cote Brasserie are not alone in this, as most of the restaurants in Woking are now part of large chains, not standalone private businesses competing against one another, bring on the competition, and that will bring better quality of service, and food. Such a shame.

Excellent breakfast menu, great variety of choices and obviously quality of food! The staff are always welcoming, helpful and attentive to detail. We love starting our weekend days here!

Service very good, friendly and attentive. Food rather disappointing although in fairness after we mentioned a problem with a starter they tried to put it right

Our visit was most enjoyable. Unfortunately two if the steak frits were very tough but the staff provided replacements which we had declined and they were much better. We were allowed to go at our own pace and all six of us had a good time. Will definitely go again.

To be fair, the restaurant was not particularly busy but as usual the staff were very helpful particularly, as both myself and my wife have to eat Gluten and Dairy Free and we have always found your staff very helpful in handling this dietary problem. Thoroughly enjoyed our lunch which was helped by the Merlot wine. Brian

Had an issue with one of the dishes, but there was no quibbling by the staff it was simply exchanged for something else. Was impressed by the way it was handled.

It was my first time to visit the restaurant with friends who had been previously . It was an enjoyable evening, with good service, delicious food and friendly staff.

Good service and food, although not haute cuisine, was cooked well and tasted fine. Second visit and as good as the first so would recommend.

The Manager that greeted us was welcoming and all night the service (Anastasia) was just awesome. The atmosphere was great and the food plentiful and really good. The decorations in the window were a great touch! Overall I don't think there was anything that counted as a negative.

There were 8 diners in our group and we found most of the meals to be well presented, cooked to perfection and delicious. Service was excellent. Our only criticism is that the starter 'Mushrooms on brioche' was more sauce than actual mushrooms. This was ordered by 4 people in our party and we could honestly say not one of us had a whole mushroom chopped in the sauce. The dish was delicious but we all agreed it would not be ordered again due to the lack of mushrooms - extremely disappointing.

Good food, good value but each course arrived too quickly, plates whipped away at the last mouthful - felt rushed. Then took a long time to attract attention to get any coffee!

Attentive service and well cooked food, delivered timely. Menu changes regularly and has something for everyone. Reasonable price. Good ambiance. Good location for pre-theatre meal or meeting friends.
