Côte Woking

In the whole the food, wine, service and atmosphere were fantastic. We had a thoroughly nice time. The one and only minor gripe was the mushroom feuilete was distinctly lacking in mushrooms vs the pastry portion. Saying that, what was there was delicious. Overall we were very satisfied

Another excellent meal at Cote. They are always consistent, friendly and food is always great. It is so nice to go to a restaurant which has a separate gluten free menu. Other restaurants please take note!

Met a friend here for lunch and had a very nice meal from the fixed price menu, which had a very good choice of dishes. The food was presented well and was lovely. I especially liked the creme caramel dessert which was superb. The service was also very good,

Well ... not a blemish free evening. My husband found some plastic in his starter and he ordered Rib eye rare and it was medium so he sent it back to be replaced, the replacement was lovely. They didn’t charge us for his meal and also gave us a bottle of wine so we left quite happy .

Service was not as good as previous visits here. One drink forgotten when we first ordered. One main dish served late, well after the vegetables were served for it (we sent them back). Deserts served without cutlery. 12.5% service charge too steep for this. We eat out a lot and won't put up with this level of service. Not acceptable. Two out of four starters were disappointing, the crab had very little crab in it, the steak tartare was mostly capers. Breton fish stew was ok, nothing more. A chicken was overcooked. I hope this was a one-off as all previous visits we were very happy.

We had a great evening. The duck was memorable, and so was the belly pork, as it was such a warm evening, the part adjoining the pavement was open, and added to the authentic French atmosphere.

Good service. Polite and friendly staff. Good food. Pleasant atmosphere with plenty of guests. Wide menu choice. Very knowledgeable manager helped guest with gluten and dairy free choices.

Cote in Woking is our go to place for date night. Good French food, always served to a very good standard. Service is always great. Friendly and efficient. Consistently good evening out.

In my view food is as good as many top independent restaurants. Good service at Woking. I like it best when you can sit outside or close to open windows , warmer weather only as tonight.

The food and wine were excellent, the service friendly and brisk. All in all , a very pleasant experience. The price was within reason. What's not to like?

Good but rather slow service. Problem appeared to be speed at which food came out of the kitchen. Good value set lunch with tasty dishes.

Lovely food and attentive service. We took a cake and they presented it beautifully on a plate with fruit and candles. Great ambience as well.

Warm welcome and they went really made our friend celebrate her 80th birthday with a glass of pink bubbly, thank you. We love the bright airy layout of oteWoking.

We went for an anniversary meal and were rushed into ordering, then when we did the courses were served very quickly, no sooner had we finished our starter the mains arrived, then they gave us the desert menu as soon as the plates were cleared away, and within minutes were asking what we would like. This is such a shame as we wanted to make an evening out of it but were in and out within less than 1 1/2 hours. The food was very good apart from the creme brûlée which was burnt on the top, I did mention it and one was removed from the bill, which was nice of them.

Service was initially efficient and most of the food was fine. However, the steak was tough, so we sent it back. It was replaced, but the replacement was similar. My partner ordered a dessert, but it hadn’t arrived after 15 minutes (not typical of the service we had already received), and as we were going to the theatre we had to cancel. To give the restaurant their due, we did get discount off the bill, but the experience could have been better.

Party of 2 adults and 2 teenagers. Some time taken to allocate seating in a approx 15 per cent occupied restaurant. My steak frites not as good as normal Cote standard

I went for a quiet meal on a Thursday night. Cote is always good value for money and with a nice atmosphere. The Main course was very nice , I chose the cod on the specials menu. Slight problem with the Chocolate Fondant in that it was luke warm but they changed it twice ( they tried ). the waiter was very good, cheerful and friendly. It was my birthday and we were given some bubbly on the house and they came and sang Happy Birthday to me, so all in all a very good experience.

Went to Cote for a leisurely lunch with a friend on bank holiday Monday, and had the set menu. Food was excellent, £13.50 for 3 courses which is great value especially for the quality and size of the portions. Service was great and we never felt rushed. Looking forward to going back again soon.

Usual friendly welcome this evening at Cote Woking. Good varied choices on the set early evening set menu. Perfect way to end an afternoon in town.

Perfect food atmosphere and staff my favourite restaurant in the area and always delivers the highest quality in food and the service. Try the lovely steaks they are fab.

Lovely meal. Friendly and helpful staff but service a little slow. A few mistakes with the bill which were readily rectified. Just made it to the theatre in time. Will return.

Excellent food, excellent service, lovely atmosphere. This restaurant is used by some of the people going to the local theatre, and so prior to seven o'clock it can be quite busy. At seven lots of people leave - but are soon replaced by others who have (advisedly) booked in advance. A good restaurant.

Friendly helpful staff, not too intrusive. Very good with the young children in our group . Food excellent, didn't have to wait long for it.

We had breakfast. The food was very good quality, well cooked and good value for money. The staff were welcoming and professional. They provided a good service.

As usual our visit to the ‘Cote’ at Woking was brilliant. The food was excellent, the atmosphere was acceptable and particularly the service was first class. Well done to all the Staff that we met. We are now looking forward to our next visit.

Slightly disappointed that my companion's steak minute was a bit overcooked, but otherwise we enjoyed the meal. The desserts were excellent, the best part of the dinner. Usually we pass on these, but , wow!.

No crackers available for the cheese and biscuits, offered bread. They went out to buy crackers! Then a small hair on the profiteroles dish, taken away and replaced, advised it wasn’t a hair, but a shaving of a nut. Main ladies toilet out of action, had to use disabled. To be fair the manager didn’t charge for the wine of profiteroles.

Excellent and very quiet for good friday. The food was served in a timely fashion although the fish soup was not available, the alternative was satisfactory. Generally excellent attentive staff.

As always the food was delicious, service excellent,I was lucky enough to have a voucher for a kir royale, so made lunchtime even more enjoyable.

everything perfect except tables for 2 are all in a row and too close together - no privacy - waiter didnt know the name of the brand of dark chocolate which goes into Coupe Noir and was too scared to ask the chef! Food is suoerb quality , best stek I've had since visiting the USA

We were a party of 6 that night, 3 ordering fillet steaks. All three steaks were tasteless, however the other mains and starters were good.

Always have a good experience at Cote. Service is great and the food gorgeous. The house red is always a good buy as well. May need to book as it’s always busy.

Love Cote in Woking, food and service is always excellent. It would be nice if they would spread out the diners across the restaurant rather than filling two sections to capacity with one empty. It would give a bit more of a feeling of space, privacy and make it easier to hear. Otherwise a super meal there, as always.

Great restaurant brilliant service and a complimentary glass of bubbly when they realised it was a birthday celebration. Explained we where going to the theatre do service was very prompt and delicious. Such good value with their early evening set menu.,

Food was excellent and would have got a six if there hadn't been problems. Had to be reminded to bring the side dish and bill had to be recalculated since initially we were charged for the complementary kirsch.

A lovely lunch, delicious food in a delightful atmosphere with attentive professional staff, highly recommend.

Food was good at a reasonable price. The staff were friendly, helpful and attentive but not intrusive. A very enjoyable experience and I look forward to my return.

Four of us celebrated another birthday at Cote last week and as usual we were treated like royalty. Two of us have been going regularly since it opened nearly 2 years ago. The food is always delicious and the service efficient and attentive. It is by far the best eatery in Woking, as is obvious by how busy the restaurant is. Keep up the good work !!

All aspects of all my visits to Côte Woking to date have been fabulous but this visit was amazing, the service was outstanding and the food was superb, the best yet. Thank you Côte for a lovely evening.

Ver good food,warm atmosphere and excellent service. Wide choice on the main menu and great to have additional choice of specials which changes every month.

We had a lovely meal and we received very good service from a very friendly team. We will definitely be going back there again soon
