Côte Windsor Restaurant

I had pre booked a table for two and requested a river view. When we arrived clearly our table wasn't ready. We had to wait for a table for 6 to be dismantled, the centre removed leaving 2 two seater tables connected by a sofa. I sat on the sofa & my husband on a chair. Not long after , two ladies occupied the other table. For the duration of our meal we had to endure one of the women ramble on & on continuously ,in a loud manner, complaining about her daughter and family. Several times l put my fingers in my ears to block her out. It was busy in the restaurant and people do talk but this was unacceptable, we were too close. We were really looking forward to having a lovely leisurely anniversary meal but we were glad to pay the bill and leave. Very disappointed as we have had some really nice visits in the past. .

The most enjoyable pre-theatre dinner we have had here so far. Our waiter and his assistant went beyond the call of duty in clearing up my accidental spillage of wine. I made sure that the manager was aware. The food was excellent too!

Polite staff, fabulous location and great food. We had the menu of 3 set courses ( available to 7pm). The creme caramel dessert was absolutely delicious.

Excellent service, great choice and quality of food and perfect ambience our table was even more special with views of Windsor Castle .....will definitely return here

i had to ask for my chicken to be exchanged because it wasn't fresh and my sons steak was really chewy but they were happy to swap it

Service good, appreciate the water! - chicken too salty (chicken with a mushroom sauce on the bottom right of the menu). I also asked for a Double Espresso served hot milk on the side - served in an espresso cup with no room for milk!

Lovely setting with table overlooking the Thames. Service and food were good, without being exceptional. Had meals from the specials menu which meant they were reasonably priced.

We had a lovely meal at cite. The food was excellent as was the service. The only grumble that I would have was that it was a bit noisy, The four on our table struggled to hold a conversation. Other than that it was an excellent meal

Lovely food, great service, but very noisy in the section we were in (kind of an octagonal 1st floor room with windows all round with beautiful views) making conversation a little difficult, not ideal for a business lunch. Recommend asking to be sat in the first section as you enter the main door as this was much quieter despite being full of diners also,

Me and my friend had an excellent evening at Cotes. The food was delicious and so fresh and the service was attentive and friendly. Not our first visit and definitely wont be our last.

There always seems to be something on the menu that they don't have. On this occasion it was Muscadet by the glass. On previous occasions it has been things on the starters menu. But friendly staff, good service, excellent position by the river.

Great customer service from the waiters. Food was cooked at high standard. Had an amazing evening. Will come back very soon for another event. Fantastic night

We enjoyed evening meal of calamari, charcuterie board, haddock and veal. The service was very good and we look forward to going again in the future

It was a very bad experience. A lots of noise, a very average food, the staff not very welcoming. Personnaly, I will not come back.

Great service. Good food. I just wish Cote would stop squeezing people into small tables. We were a party of 7 sitting on a table that sits 6.

We are regulars in this restaurant because it is a safe bet for good quality food. It delivered once again, good choice, good service. Not a cheap option but good quality to price ratio.

As always, wonderful courteous welcome and the meal was served quickly and with a smile. I usually order eggs Florentine (poached egg on muffin with spinach and Hollandaise sauce.) Whichever branch of Cote I go to, the eggs are always perfectly cooked...never hard or underdone. How do they do that? Recommend to anyone who will listen!

Quite excellent - we could find nothing to fault ! It was great to see that the menu has been updated . In all,a pleasure.

service and food always very good. the set menu is excellent value for money. I would like to see an evening equivalent at a higher price plus a la carte. Your restaurant is always first choice amongst my friends and I would recommend it to anyone.

I had been to Cote Brasserie in Windsor before and have visited other branches. I have always been very satisfied but in particular with Windsor recently. Above all the service was quick and efficient and the staff very helpful and friendly. We had 3 courses with a bottle of wine and everything was to our satisfaction. Good hot food and a very nice bottle of wine which on the day was complimentary when ordering from the main menu. A very enjoyable experience.

Great experience with a nice table with river views , an interesting Autumn menu and friendly but not introsive service., all in all a great evening.

Once again, a delicious meal. The food was nicely presented chosen from a varied menu! The service was consistently excellent and the staff polite and welcoming. G eat value for money - well done Windsor!

We were visiting from Canada and taking a friend for lunch, and the staff very kindly fulfilled my request for a window table and sat us at a lovely spot with the French doors open to the river. The restaurant also offered some excellent food at very reasonable prices. Service was very good, and we never felt rushed. If we make it back to Windsor, we will definitely return. Thank you.

Very nice food, I loved it. This place is magical In front of the river nice environment I advice as business lunch, any celebration is welcome.

Excellent food and service. Everything was perfect for my birthday celebration and I enjoyed my night out eating with my friends in a lively atmosphere.

This is a good restaurant with nice views over the river Thames and Windsor castle. The staff are well trained, polite and efficient. The food has always been of good quality at very reasonable prices. The restaurant is good for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

The food was delicious as always. The staff were amazing! They went above and beyond to make our dinner special and the whole evening was fabulous.

Wonderful food and very quick service with a great atmosphere! The 3 course set menu is terrific value for money Can't wait to go back here again.

As ever it was a very pleasant lunch service was good and together with very obliging staff it could not be faulted. Looking forward to my next visit on the 15th.

Service was very slow and had to ask waiter a couple of times about our drinks order as he had obviously forgotten about it.. Food was delicious though

Beautiful setting great food good value and nice staff - what more could you want? Eat before 7pm or at lunchtime. I don't know how they do it for the price!

Cote Windsor is in a wonderful location. The quality of meals is excellent and consistently so. The staff are friendly and efficient. Cote is my favourite place to eat in Windsor.

Friendly fast and efficient service, food was tasty but a little bit too cold. Great setting on a warm sunny day. I would recommend this restaurant.

An excellent meal with speedy polite service and delicious food. Booking on line was very easy and we were given a riverside table that we requested.

I regularly use this branch of Cote (as well as others). Great location on the river! I usually manage to get my requested table. Food and service consistently good.

Superb food. Lovely environment overlooking the river. Waiter leaned across one person to serve another and poor eye contact when wanted something - i.e. not easy to attract the staff's attention. Air conditioning was too cold but quick action was taken to remedy situation - so impressed. Would certainly recommend without hesitation and look forward to returning. Quite pricey but well worth the money.

Excellent, lovely staff, most helpful. 😺 Food was great, large portions, which was very unexpected. I will come again. My meal was paid for with a voucher which cotes were very kind enough to donate, it was a great evening, thank you so much.

It was my wedding anniversary. Asked for river view. Wed at 5.30 of they cannot accomodate indoubt the remiander of the week they will. Food was great as always

My mum and I came for dinner at 6.30 on Tuesday 22nd August. The lady that served us our meal was lovely, very friendly and attentive. I meant to ask her name to inform her manager how great her waitressing was so glad I've had the opportunity to leave a review. We had a starter main and dessert each, all of which were delicious. We never waited too long for the food or the bill but equally felt that we weren't being rushed. The venue was beautiful also. I will definitely come back again.

Had the the early bird menu, pre theatre. Excellent value and quality, plus bonus on back of tickets had voucher for complimentary Kir Royale. Staff exceptional, have visited here three times and each experience has been outstanding.

Not the best meal or seats. The occasion was my partners birthday and I had pre-booked in advance. We had to move to nearest empty table due to dangling spiders! The waitress was very brave & quickly removed them! The steak was tough and grisly, inedible. The waitress apologised profusely and offered free deeserts. I had a coffee and my partner had a crime brûlée which was very nice. The waitress was excellent by the way. Otherwise all good as ever. I am a frequent visitor to Cotes and always find it exceptional. This is the only time it was disappointing hence the score given.

When our meals arrived they were lukewarm. One was fish the other minute steak. We told a member of staff who then kept asking other people what to do. A man came to us & said one side of the plate was warm but the other cold, he didn't seem to have received our complaint about the cold food. Had to wait for more to be cooked, which then came piping hot. So okay in the end.

Service, location and food very good. About an hour before we ate popped in and requested table overlooking Thames. Manager happy to oblige. Very happy.

The staff were friendly and efficient. The food was lovely, and enjoyed by all diners, (all had different dishes). the whole hang up, was the noise level in the room but you can't help people enjoying themselves.
