Yummy food. Great service. Nice smelling loos (a rarity!)Beautiful location. Great way to spend a Saturday lunchtime. Pretty good value also. Can’t wait to go back.
Lovely setting, we sat close to the window overlooking the river. The staff were charming and showed an interest. Will certainly return in the new year.
The chicken was like an old pair of boots. The crepes like slices of rubber. Food that has been prepared too far in advance and heated up is never good. The kids meals were good and it is in a lovely location overlooking the river but not sure I would go gain!
As always, good food and service in a pleasant setting and excellent value with extensive menu choices. Cote never fails to deliver and we shall return.
Lovely evening as ever - the food is always so very good and the staff always so attentive - one of our favorite restaurants in Windsor
Excellent food with very reasonable prices, and lots of choice. The formule menu is particularly good value. Lovely, friendly and efficient service. Beautiful views of the River Thames.
The food was lovely but the service poor and then they charge 12.5% service charge for a table of two and the service was poor
Perfect breakfast, perfect location and perfect staff. It is always good in here and they did acknowledge it was our daughters birthday so that was a really nice though. Highly recommended
Staff where very courtiers and the food was very good. Lovely setout room and the outlook was great. A brilliant place to go and eat.
Food and service excellent. We were seated in the conservatory section, and in common with many restaurants these days, it was noisy which made talking slightly difficult. Fortunately this part of the restaurant wasn't completely full.
Côte is set alongside the river overlooking the castle. Such a fantastic location (lots of window seats available), most importantly delicious food, nice selection of wine and welcoming staff. Perfect.
The reason for my visit was for a work Christmas lunch for myself and 3 colleagues which was booked at the end of October. We decided to pre-order our meals out of pure convenience and wanted to ensure we had sufficient time to enjoy the experience. The food which we ordered was from the set Christmas lunch menu. To my disappointment, we received our starters 45 mins after being seated. After chasing the starters, I assumed the service would be speedy and the team would be vigilant that I would not have to wait around any further. In total I was waiting an hour and a half for my main course and by this time it was 14:30 and I still had not had my main course or pudding! The ticket on the car was until 15:00pm as we thought 2 hours would be more than enough time, especially that we had pre-ordered. I was more frustrated by the fact that the table beside me which had 3 gentlemen, who seemed to be known by the waiter, arrived 30 minutes after us, but their started came out the same time as us and they had finished their main course and we were still waiting on our main course. A former colleague had mentioned to me she previously paid a visit to Côte Brasserie in Windsor where she slipped due to a spillage and on the same visit her aunt was given a dish including an ingredient she mentioned she was allergic to, I still put this aside and thought the reviews online have been fantastic so I must give them a chance. I cannot fault the food in any way as this was an absolute delight, it was just a huge shame about the service and the fact that I was having to rush through each course. Unfortunately, I would not rely on Côte Brasserie for a scheduled meal in the near future. I would have appreciated if I was advised that there may be a delay due to a particular reason, however, there was only an apology from the waiter with a further delay.
Nice ambiance with attentive & friendly staff. The food was well prepared and both the starters and mains were extremely tasty. We go to Cotes Brasserie for a Christmas lunch with our 2 best friends every year and will continue the tradition next year as the standards are excellent. Tony & Di
Warm welcome as we arrived, excellent venue by the river; good the food and wine was good and the service was very efficient. I have never had a bad experience there,
Our best meal in Windsor!! Try the pork belly and the creme caramel! The resteaurant situated by the Thames overlooking Windsor Castle, a beautiful sight!
Helpful staff, food arrived quickly even though restaurant was busy. Lovely views over the Thames. Parking a bit of a problem but local carpark is free after 7pm
Lovely setting looking over the Thames the service was very good.Somthing for all tastes on the menue food was also very good Would go there again
Lovely location, pleasant staff and good quality food. This branch of Cote is consistently good. Having visited others I can definitely say this one is my favourite.
A pre-Christmas lunch for five colleagues who all work together in Egham. Cote Windsor is rated by all of us as our favourite "local" restaurant (even though it is 6 miles away and you cannot park closely). As ever the food was excellent.
great service as ever, great food as ever, great value and a fantastic atmosphere. We eat at cote as a family or as a couple. Consistently good.
Staff was very friendly, view over the river was lovely and the food was nice. Have been to other Cote brasseries as well, so not really surprised. Guess the view is what makes this particular one stand out.
We had to send all the food back as either cold or portion sizes were terrible. Chips were cold, duck was cold, children's food was cold and half size portion of halibut served. Won't be eating here again.
Lovely setting on Eton bridge on a snowy afternoon. Lovely views of the river and castle. Great food choice and excellent value, would highly recommend.
We visited for my mother-in-law's birthday and the staff were very welcoming and helpful, greeting us with complementary glasses of kir royale which was a very thoughtful touch. A delightful meal and all round great experience.
Since when can you book a DINNER for 4 at 8:15am ( In the morning ) because that is what they said when I turned up to Cote' Windsor at 8:15pm ( Evening ) with three friends on what must have been the coldest night of the year. They were not very helpful and showed little interest to our dilemma. So if there was a lower number than one, they would have it. No Prob tho. Went around the corner to a fab little Greek restaurant that could not have been more helpful if they tried and the food was lovely too !!!
Food was good but we had a deal for a bottle of Free prosecco and we’re told there Was None left so had wine instead but then saw others being bought out Prosecco
Excellent classic menu. The resulting dishes didn't disapoint either. The service was good and in keeping with the very pleasant atmosphere and location. I will certainly return.
Lovely location at end of Eton high street. next to the River. They accommodated my family with two toddlers very well. Good children's menu. Food was excellent. However, our side order never arrived, but there was more than enough portion-wise on the mains. Would recommend for a nice lunch with family and friends.
As usual, good food at a great price! Can't be faulted - service was excellent too! Will be back again after Christmas with same friends as we all enjoy Cote!
Excellent service & very friendly staff as always, delicious food & very well presented. Superb location with fabulous views of the river & Windsor castle.
Great setting and delicious food. The set lunch menu is great value. Shame we realised too late they'd overcharged us - always check your bill!!
Great service and food as usual, especially impressed by our waiter Roland. The ambiance was excellent, a nice warm welcome on such a cold day.
Great food (we often meet here for dinner as the location is convenient and there is parking close by). Had forgotten that it's a popular venue for Xmas parties, which can be quite noisy! Last night we were seated next to one such party. We asked to be moved and luckily the restaurant were able to find us an alternative table.
Once again a very enjoyable meal. Delicious falavours, the chocolate mousse and cream caramel both outstanding. Our group of four were all very impressed with the staff, they all new what was expected of them, carried out all their duties in an extremely professional and friendly manner. Thank you.
The service was very good by Marta but I have to say the food was exceptional today, with 2 people having the set lunch and myself a la carte with the Pork Belly just perfect
Perhaps it was Sunday-itis but we didn't have our best experience at Cote. Friendly, as always, but slow service. The much favoured and anticipated tart tartin arrived more as an Apple crumble? and in terms of value for money, I regret to say, was questionable this time. However, having been very honest, am sure we will be back....
Easy way to book a table and the service excellent! we asked to change table (for one with a view to the river) and the staff very kindly looked and change our table. Really excellent atmosphere and service, the breakfast also high quality. And not too expensive. I highly recommend Cote Brasserie - Windsor!
I enjoyed my visit . I thought my meal was good value . The food was of good standard and well presented. The service was quick and pleasant.
Very nice setting with table overlooking the river. The meal itself was good for a chain although soup starter was cold and was sent back.
Great food and excellent smiley service from Erika - I even got to practice my few words of Hungarian with her! Well done team Cote!
It was my daughter's 13th birthday and the restaurant was perfect. The food was lovely and the staff were attentive even though the restaurant was busy. Would definitely recommend Cote.
We enjoyed a lovely lunch in a lively restaurant. The staff were efficient and friendly. We had the set lunch menu which offered a number of choices and was only £11.50 for two courses.
Always great food good service and no long gaps in between courses. They always seem to time it right. A lovely location and place to meet up regularly with friends.
A great venue for a meal. Wonderful views up to Windsor Castle and the river below. The food and service were excellent. Visit a fair amount, never disappointed. Thoroughly recommended.
Good food and attentive service. Had the 3 course early evening dinner for £13.50. Not humungus size portions but all tasted fab and filled us up. First visit for my friend. She was impressed and will visit again. Great table on the lower floor looking out over the river.
We had a great time considering the duck undercooked which was taken off the bill. Two hours before arriving I called for a table by the window which we got in a quiet room downstairs which was perfect for us.
Great food as always in a lovely conservatory type room overlooking the river. I love that Cote is always good no matter which branch you go to!
As usual, bright, clean and efficient ambience, courteous service, and excellent value lunch menu, with good food and a range of 5 or 6 choices for each of 3 courses.
We went to Cote for a post 70th Birthday lunch with my family. We have been to Cote quite a few times in the past and enjoyed the food and the experience. I felt on this occasion the food and service were not up to your usual standard. Whether this was because the restaurant was quite busy I am not sure, it will of course make us think twice about visiting in the future. We requested several extra dishes to be brought out, but had to remind the staff about them also I don't think the food was of the usual good standard. Rita Gibbs
Waiter looked totally disinterested, then with a try of drinks including a non alcoholic bottle of beer, glass of prosecco and apple juice, he dropped the whole try on the table missing my son with the class by nothing, but beer and prosecco went over us and so it was not great. We have been many times but won't go again, to top it off they added the 12.5 per cent gratuity !!!!!
