Always great food. Pleasant staff and very good service cannot do enough to make a very pleasant evening prior to a theatre visit. Would recommend every time.
My wife and I went for a Birthdya celebration. We booked our favourite table and were entertained with good food and great service as always.
Good food, good service. Only no change on the main menu but has monthly set which is good for value. Need to create an account with details to enjoy their wifi
Normally a visit to Côte Windsor is prior to the Theatre or just a quick drop in if we are in the area. This evening was by far the poorest meal and service that we have had. The waiter was slow and seemed to have his attention on a female staff member rather than his customers. There were only 4 people in that part of the restaurant at the time. Also he made no attempted to ascertain whether we had eaten there before and seemed incapable of taking the drinks and food order at the same time, adding substantially to the time before we received our meal. Two problems with it were the smoked salmon on sourdough toast should be relabled as smoked salmon on sourdough hard brick and the venison casserole was so dry that my wife left hers. We used to recommend Côte Windsor to anyone who asked us where to go in Windsor for a meal. We will now hesitate to do that again. :-(
My friend and I had a very nice catch in lunch. Had the 3 course lunch menu and thoroughly enjoyed the meal, waiter was attentive but not pushy
Good food, atmosphere and friendly service would definitely come again, so easy to book online and accommodating when we had to tweak our arrival time
Lovely setting, good service but food not up to usual Cote standards, have to put twenty five words but I don't need to!! So goodbye.
Great service, superb food wonderful place to be. Without exception the staff are excellent. Close to Windsor and Eton views over the Thames, will certainly come back
Table really small and crowded for 7 people. Pork belly overdone with no apples with it (as stated on menu). the toilet cubicles are so small you can barely get inside them (in fact my pregnant friend had to use the disabled toilet due to that fact).
Superb lunch by the riverside looking up at Windsor Castle with four friends over from Canada!
We love dining here , my mother is local by I booked online with a special sitting request all of which were adhered to . The early menu is great value for money but no loss on flavour , service is always exemplary.
Good food good wine nice place . Good service, what’s not to like!!?? We always like lunching at Cote in Windsor, great restaurant and worth visiting,
The food was lovely and was served hot and in good time. The service is what let things down; the waiter looked miserable although everything he said was perfectly polite. The staff were constantly chatting and almost dropping plates right next to us so we couldn’t hear each other and we waited a long time to get a dessert menu and then to get the bill and then to pay.
We had a great meal and received a faultless service from the staff who were very friendly and attentive. Lovely restaurant, will definately be back again. Thank you Cotes 😊😊👌🍛
Great food, good value for money and friendly and attentive service. Menu choice is fairly extensive and they also cater well for gluten free options.
This restaurant is in a fantastic setting by the river, and serves up the usual excellent Cote food and drink. Good service and a very pleasant atmosphere
The restaurant was quite busy with two largish parties our seating was by a door to an outside smoking area which was inconvenient. Also notice the portion size of fries etc has been reduced. Food quality wa reasonable and the waiter was good.
Unfriendly Staffs didn’t accommodate us for the table we requested and all three different staffs gave three different reasons for not accommodating on requested table.
Olives gross Duck fatty Service v good Wife enjoyed her steak Lovely venue Booked table but told when we arrived it was not ready .
Good food, great service with nice views over the Thames. Some good option for the kids - although mine went for Stake frites. Wine list is very reasonable.
Excellent, attentive service especially with regards to gluten free dining. A very enjoyable, leisurely meal and a lovely relaxed atmosphere. Would definitely return and recommend to others.
We were celebrating a seventieth birthday and had requested a window table if possible. Not only did we get our riverside table (held for us despite a very busy lunchtime) but kir royales were offered as soon as we sat down!! Our birthday guest was extremely impressed. Our waiter was lovely and really helpful; meal was excellent. A surprise dessert plus candle topped it all off. Will we be back? Of course
Very enjoyable time, attentative waiter. Pity the reception area is so small and such a bottleneck when trying to book in. Ladies toilets could do with attention.
Lovely greeting when we arrived, plus waiting staff very pleasant and helpful. It was a very cold evening, so found it a little cold in the restaurant
Excellent service again . We had the lamb which was superb and slightly spicy .The creme brulee and lemon tart wre delicious. Will be back soon
We chose minute steak which was tough and very chewy. The waiter offered a replacement dish but that was just as chewy and tough . However the situation was recovered well by reducing the bill . We will go back again .
The food was very well cooked, tasty and well presented. The service was very efficient and the staff very pleasant. Great setting and atmosphere too.
Again a flawless and very good value experience. The restaurant is always busy and has a super atmosphere and attentive staff. Views of the river are great too
Meeting up with friends for lunch. Delicious classic bistro food. All had for the Steak Frites. Good children's menu but portions a bit small. Lovely table overlooking the river.
The evening was great, the staff were absolutely amazing, very attentive. Food was really really good too... Great night! Thank you, really really enjoyed it!!
Good quality food at a reasonable price, served by pleasant attentive staff. Great location situated on the banks of the Thames in Eton, right next to the footbridge across to Windsor.
It was ok, nothing special. Service was mediocre, quality of the food was alright looking at the price. However we were provided a rather small table for a company of 7. Hard to have conversations in there since the acoustic is rather bad. Prices are fine though
Excellent service staff very friendly & helpful, good choice of food & views from the restaurant couldn’t be better. Been several times to this restaurant & alway visit when in the area.
this restaurant is consistently good. Smart staff, great view, good service, reasonable prices and very good quality ingredients. Highly recommended for breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner.
A soon as we arrived we received a very warm welcome on a cold night! When we booked we asked for a table by the window - which we got with a view of the bridge and river. The staff were friendly and attentive. The food was excellent: tasty and hot. The menu is always a problem: far too many excellent dishes to choose! Having a kir royale is essential as you browse trying to choose a starter and main course. The wine list is excellent too. Côte Windsor was a wonderful restaurant to have my birthday celebration meal - the five of us really had a great time.
Noisy when busy depending on were you are seated. Food was good, served fast once ordered. Drinks selection good. Service was good despite it being packed.
A lovely meal by the side of the River Thames. We used the set menu which was excellent and the staff were efficient and caring.
Overall a great experience. Had a slight problem with timing of pre-starter which meant our calamari starters were cold. Otherwise great service and will return.
Hi We all had a lovely meal at Cote's Windsor .I cannot rate our Waiter high enough I didn't take his name .It is such a lovely l setting in Windsor . 10 out of 10
Always nice food. Lots of choices. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Restaurant location in Windsor (Eton) is particularly nice by Thames. We’ve visited many Cote Brasseries and the high standard is kept everywhere.
Really good Place for a quick Sunday night supper. Friendly and efficient service with a good selection of food on the menu and a good choice of simple specials.
The food was really good and it is a lovely venue and location. Sadly the toilets were very cramped and not as clean as I would have expected and we were sitting by a window with a streetlight shining directly in at us such that half our table couldn’t see the other half. Eventually a member of staff hung a towel up over the doorjam to stop the glare but it was a real nuisance. Such a shame as these things took the shine off an otherwise lovely evening.
I have not enjoyed my dining experience with cote the last few visits. The menu is boring and needs to change. The portion sizes are too small especially the fish goujons and they are over cooked. The staff have become obnoxious always being right. Same experience in Edinburgh Cote. Don’t intend to book again anytime soon.
Very slow waitress, and childrens screaming everywhere. Finally we asked to change to a other table. Very good food and nice wine. Thanks very much
I love the place and we are regular customers but yesterday was really bad experience. It was taking far too long to be served, it took over 25 minutes to clean the table after we ended our main meal and overall the service was well below usual standards. Not sure if they were short of staff or something but it was pretty poor experience.
Very good venue with view of Windsor Castle and on the banks of the River Thames wat Hong the boats go by. The service was good. Really excellent Lunch time Location.
Food excellent , staff really lovely and a lovely view perfect dinner out , easy to book easy location to get to restaurant very clean
Good food, great service. Just the right amount of attention and timing gaps between courses. Lovely pre-theatre meal. Lively ambience, but still romantically lit and on the river. Excellent staff, greeted us well and said goodnight as we left.
Fantastic location, friendly helpful staff and well presented tasty food. The sea bass was perfectly cooked and there was plenty of choice when it came to the desert course.
We always enjoy our visits to Cote (Windsor). I have eaten at several Cotes but the Windsor branch is definitely the best. The food is always delicious and the service is usually friendly and efficient. We are very lucky to have this Cote in our area.
