Côte Windsor Restaurant

Great meal in Cote, they now have a vegetarian menu which is really good. Staff friendly and attentive. When I booked the table there was a promotion and we got a free bottle of Rose wine which was lovely.

We use this restaurant quite often. As usual the staff were on the ball without being pushy and the food was it's usual high standard

Lovely staff. Good food, reasonable prices. It was my daughter's birthday & we were kindly given a glass of sparkling wine each on the house.

Although not seated quite where we requested, we still overlooked The Thames. This was a special occasion and the food was great as was the level of service.

Superb service by friendly efficient staff. Lovely to look over the river during a leisurely lunch. Such a good atmosphere in this restaurant, whatever the time of year.

On the whole very good - it would have been even better if the table had been easy at the time it was booked for (8.15), rather than 15 mins later (8.30).

We had a fabulous time at Cote. The French onion soup was to die for and it took me straight back to my home town Maastricht with fond memories of all the pubs serving this soup even in the same type of bowl.

It was excellent as usual. Very good service, the staff were charming and efficient. The food was outstanding with a very comprehensive menu. We will be back for sure.

Excellent service and great food. Lovely surroundings with view of the Thames and Windsor castle. I’ve been to Cote many times and it’s consistentjy good.

Lovely table by the river. Chose sea bream from the set lunch menu, perfectly cooked and delicious. Very attentive and friendly staff who accommodated my dad when he chose a dessert from a different menu. Will return soon!

As always the food was wonderful. Lovely restaurant with amazing views of the River Thames. Staff are always very friendly and helpful. Look forward to my next visit.

SUCH good food - even had a detailed, Coeliac UK approved Gluten Free menu! Amazing service, really beautiful view over the river - would definitely recommend if you’re in Windsor!

Table overlooking river as rerquested. Pity nobody had brushed the crumbs off it. Long wait for service - well it was very busy - but food came quickly. Steak leathery and overcooked and salad pathetic.

It was an excellent restaurant with delicious dishes and very polite staff , congratulations!!! We are absolutely satisfied about this experience and we will visit it again and again !!!

Quite a big gap between courses and ordering but we will DEFINITELY be going back. My duck was the best I’ve ever had, and have eaten it all over the world.

Excellent location with view of the river! Charming staff and excellent service despite being really busy. All good good and small problem with one meal rectified easily and without fuss. Would def return and reccommend!

Had a lovely lunch for my mum's 88th birthday in June. Good food, friendly staff and a wonderful location on the banks of the Thamed made for a memorable time.

Superb breakfast, very busy service, only had to wait a short time for the food but still apologetic, food excellent and discount given as had to wait a short while, excellent service

We waited ages to get seated and the staff were claret under pressure and unhappy. And every time I go the ladies toilets have no toilet paper! Not nice!! The food was fine but service has defiantly gone down. Not sure if we will go ever again. I hope you are interested enough to address the miserable staff issue. It's a management problem not the staff...

Don’t let the scaffolding outside put you off. We had a nice table with a view of the river. The service varied. Initially the staff were very keen for us to order and tried to rush the courses so we had to ask for them to slow down. When we wanted to pay we had to wait ages and ask several times for the bill. The food was of a good standard.

We three ladies had a lovely lunch at Cote Windsor today. Friendly welcoming service and great food in a beautiful location...what more could we ask for. Cote never disappoints...

didnt get the name of my waiter but he was a 24 year old Polish guy and was brilliant. Let us take our time with ordering and couldn't have been more polite pleasant or helpful.

Very disappointinng visit this time. My wife's sirloin steak was largely inedible as it was almost impossible to cut due to fat and gristle. When we complained the staff did take it off the bill. However we had been encouraged to return this time by an offer of a complimentary offer of a bottle of rose wine. When the bill arrived we found that we had been charged for the wine. Finally the bill was changed but our evening had not been a success and we are unlikely to return to Cote Windsor.

Fabulous meal as always although my husband's steak was not very good it was replaced very quickly as was my meal so that I was not eating on my own. Excellent service and food delicious

An excellent venue. The usual good Cote menu but with the bonus of fabulous views. The service was attentive and faultless. We all enjoyed it!

Excellent dinner tonight at Cote Brasserie in Eton. Helped by weather and being able to sit on balcony overlooking river, swans and Cygnets. Best busker I've ever heard within earshot. Food excellent, service very good, timely and not intrusive. The sea bream was perfectly cooked and delicious and asparagus and poached egg also cooked to perfection. Can recommend.

My friend and I had lunch there today. Everything was perfect from first walking in the door to leaving. Service was first class, the meal delicious and the wine chosen was good too. We will definitely have lunch there again when we meet up in a few weeks time. We have no hesitation in recommending Cote Windsor to others.

We enjoyed lunch. The service was good. The food was up to expectations. The environs is very pleasant. We would happily return again. It is a one of the best restaurants in Eton.

Overall lovely restaurant only grumbles would be that we had to wait a while for someone to take our order. Toilets required attention as they were very untidy.

We had a party of 5 and we requested the table by the window at the entrance. This because we knew it would be quite and suitable for our guests as 2 of them have health issues. Cote accommodated and we had a great time with a free glass of pop as it was also a birthday celebration. Many thanks!

wE HAD A WONDERFUL FULL ENGLISH BREAKFAST ON THE DAY OF THE ROYAL WEDDING. IT WAS VERY TASTY, THE COFFEE WAS GOOD AND THE SERVICE.

Fantastic service and food was great there was no rush lovely table looking out through a balcony but you must book or you will be disappointed

Love the new menu we had taken friends so were glad the whole experience was up to the usual standard. perhaps you could think of changing the deserts on the Special lunch / dinner menu a little more often

We went for lunch to celebrate a family birthday. Food was very good and tasty. Service was excellent. Special touch when they bought a glass of bubbly out for the persons whose birthday it was. Plus a candel in the desert. Lovely location too

The lunchtime specials menu is very good value,the minute steak was cooked to perfection,staff very attentive, we had a window seat by the river overlooking the castle, magnificent.

A fantastic place to relax and enjoy with friends It was extra special yesterday as the wedding bunting was still up and the weather was great smoked salmon as starter was absolutely delicious

Food was lovely and very efficient with their service. The views from the riverside are beautiful at night and you also have a lovely view of the Windsor castle.
