Côte Windsor Restaurant

The thin steak was unfortunately too tough and chewy and sadly so was the second one after the first one was sent back. Otherwise everything was fine, the waiter was very nice.

We had a good table by the window but I found the service much slower than normal today. Staff were lovely but usually the gaps between courses are less but it seemed longer today. Food lovely tho and service with a smile is always good. They mustve been short staffed.

The food was amazing and we had a table which enabled us to over look the River Thames on a very beautiful sunny day. Service was very good and our waiter was very attentive. Will be back :) Karen

Seated by the window as requested. Friendly staff, delicious food as usual. Mother was given a free glass of kir royale for her birthday! Great location on the river

It was lovely sitting outside on the balcony by the river in the sun. Food was delicious and service superb. Special mention to Rafael who was exceptional.

We have been to Cote Windsor several times and to be honest, this time was not great, service felt slow and not very attentive, food was not the est.

A lovely aspect on the river- it was a shame we couldn't get a table overlooking the water. Friendly staff as always, and a fairly quiet atmosphere. Several of our preferred choices were unavailable however we were given additional options quickly with an apology. A great Cote, as they all are.

Excellent service by all staff we encountered, friendly and helpful. Easy to book online, with confirmation through email.Great food, lovely flavours and well cooked. Good price. Lovely location.

Out of 7 main courses 1 was forgotten and 2 undercooked. The undercooked ones (chicken) then took way too long to be brought back to the table (I suspect forgotten again). In fairness, it was very busy and the manager took 3 main courses off the bill, however it was terribly disappointing.

Service was pooor. Waited a long time to get order . Wanted to order pud but no waiter arrived. Had to get to reception to get the bill. Food was really nice although portion was a little small.

Delicious meal with great service and a wonderful location overlooking the water on a lovely evening. We could see the Royal Standard fluttering on Windsor Castle following President Trump's visit.

Beautiful venue, friendly staff and great timing between meals. I always feel that food is rushed out after each meal but there was plenty of time in between. Highly recommend

We had a lovely table overlooking the river and Windsor Castle as requested. We were celebrating my husbands birthday so perfect setting. Food and service excellent as always.

Lovely location, nice food and good value. Service a bit slow and toilets could do with a smarten up. A pleasant experience none the less.

We had a lovely lunch at Cote Windsor last Sunday. The food good, the service prompt and efficient and the river side setting is lovely.

Cote has a great location in Windsor. Food tastes good and consistent quality. Service professional and pleasant but sometimes a little slow....I think they just need some extra staff.

We requested, and were given, a nice, outside, table overlooking the river. Food and service were good and we had a very enjoyable evening. I was entertaining an American friend and she really enjoyed dining at Cote.

Service was slow due to lack of staff. Our waiter very friendly. Cold Crab starter delivered on a boiling hot plate, I had to transfer it to a cold side plate. Seabass was delicious but fennel was so hard I couldn't even cut it. Setting gorgeous, and food could be good.....they just need more staff!

Our first visit to Côtes Windsor and we weren't disappointed. We had a table for four booked for lunch (1.30pm): I was surprised how busy it was but service was still very good - attentive and prompt without being too fast! I booked six weeks in advance as it was an important occasion. My only criticism would be that, when I emailed Côtes Windsor a few days before our booking I got no response - not even an auto-reply. (I had asked if they could possibly give us a nice window seat or terrace table). As it turned out, our table, which was downstairs near the bar, was fine. Indeed the day was so hot (30+) and sunny a terrace table would have probably been too hot! Food, as always in Cotes, was very good. I can highly recommend the summer salad (d'été) which is one of the options on the two- or three-course lunch menu.

Beautiful setting. Good value for money. Good starters. Issues with mains incorrectly cooked, rectified, still incorrect, table cleared whilst one member of party still eating. Bill reduction reflected issues with main unprompted. Overall a lovely evening and would return

Lovely environment and great views over the river. Food was nice and a broad selection offered with good value if you opt for the set menu.

Great food, great service, but the beer wasn't cold. Although I guess that's not surprising given the weather. First time with family at this Cote and all said they would like to return.

Did not receive the special request we had asked for. This would have been okay had it not been for the poor quality of food. One of our party had ordered the salmon and scrambled eggs which came lukewarm and without the avocado. By the time we had asked and received it, the rest of the meal was completely cold. In addition, the avocado was not ripe and too hard to eat.

Good service good food. Thats what you expect and thats what you get here. Pleasant surrounding and location. Have eaten here many times, highly recommended

Good location, food and service. A complimentary drink never arrived though. Tables can be cleaner as well but maybe it was a busy hour .

Great restaurant, lovely setting, friendly efficient but relaxed service. Good food and good value. Only downside was the toilet facilities - two cubicles for women and they were so narrow I could only just squeeze through the door! Other than that, cote is always a reliable go to place for breakfast 👍🏻

Great venue with views of the river and castle, though there was a high general noise level in the restaurant. The food and service were good.

The restaurant was unbearably hot and the staff were not willing to open does or windows. The air con was not working it was appalling!

The cod tasted like it had been inpregnated with lemon, couldn't taste the fish - inedible! Dauphinois potato was dry as a bone. The location is stunning g but the quality of the food has taken a dive. Staff are very pleasant but clearly under too much pressure. Before making my booking, which I eventually did on line, I left a voice mail after ringing 4 times and sat in the message cue over and over again! I never did get a return call as promised! Not enough staff. The staff are lovely and very helpful. Thank you. M

Another great visit to Cote yesterday morning; the sun was shining and everyone was enjoying themselves on the terrace. This gave me an opportunity to have a quiet breakfast in the upper part of the restaurant. Great service from the Lithuanian Waiter (Sorry I forgot his name).

Excellent food and service but I do NOT like the service charge being automatically added ! PLEASE train staff to clear empty glasses and up sell by asking if more drinks are required !!!

Delicious food in a lovely setting on the banks of the river Thames. The staff were very attentive without being overpowering. Would definitely go again if we were in the Windsor area

Cote Windsor is such a premium location, by the river, especially in the summer we are having. The usual level of service that makes you feel important with a price point that is just right but which I wouldnt like to see increase very much. My one negative comment is the price of the 'crab mayonaisse' starter which is now £8.50, this doesnt seem to be consistent with their overall pricing structure and is too heady for me but it is my favourite starter, come on Cote's reduce it to £7.50.

We have been to the Eton Bridge Cote on several previous occasions. Our recent visit was as good as ever. The food, service and setting were all excellent. We were in the Worcester Cote last night and everything there was very good. Eton is our closest restaurant, we will go there again and always recommend it to friends.

Good, tasty food, attractively presented - free aperitifs - attentive service by very pleasant staff. Only slight criticism - very noisy which made conversation difficult at times.

Excellent service, great food, good value and a fantastic location. Chairs were a little uncomfortable for a 2 hour lunch and the air con struggled with the very hot weather, maybe should have opened all the doors and windows? Overall enjoyed our lunch very much and are very satisfied customers.

The meal was fabulous and the staff are great, The location is lovely. I can not fault any thing. Thank you so much for a wonderful time.

Lovely helpful staff & a great location. Extensive menu offers something for everybody. The set menu is good value especially as its on offer thru till closing time

It was our first visit to Cote Brasserie and not sure what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised. Good food, good service and good price.

Normal great service and food! Not too busy and just the right amount of attention from the staff.
