The breakfast was up to usual high standard, however I had stipulated that it was my daughter's birthday when I booked, it would have been nice if she had received some acknowledgement of the special day, so this was disappointing.
Always our restaurant of choice, Cote Windsor has very friendly and helpful staff, a good choice of delicious savoury and sweet courses, and very good value for money. What else could you ask for?
Friendly service, very tasty food and we enjoyed the complimentary cocktail : Thank you !!! We certainly look forward to coming back again very soon!
Fantastic setting on bridge overlooking the river at Windsor. We all tried rabbit for the first time - great! Excellent food and service. Highly recommend.
Cote Windsor is one of our favorite restaurants: excellent food, beautiful location, superb service, all at fantastic prices. This was a birthday celebration. The free glass of bubbly was a nice touch! Highly recommended - Cote never disappoints.
Great choice of food, great location with views over River Thames to Windsor Castle,. Friendly service and good prices. Always pleased and feel valued when we visit.
We had a great evening. We been celebrating our wedding anniversary , food been served very efficiently and food was fresh and tasty, vitress really helpfull .
After a visit to the castle, we needed a good meal. Highly recommended, food and service very good. Atmosphere very welcoming, relaxing and enjoyable experience
There is a lively overall atmosphere to the restaurant yet intimate at your table, with polite staff timing their attentiveness well to make your experience feel special. With so many aspects at the restaurant it is always a pleasure to visit and re-visit.
My husband, son and I had another great meal at Cote Windsor last night. My tuna rillettes starter was excellent as usual, my husband loved his rabbit parmentier, and my son enjoyed all his courses - king prawns, lamb rump and pavlova. Also we all had the gin and elderflower cocktail of the month, which was also great! We arrived half an hour early, but they were still able to seat us no problem, so we had extra time before the theatre. An excellent experience as usual!
We made our booking on line which was confirmed the day before. Dissapointed to find that our table was being made up would we wait? Asked for one downstairs by the river, OK if that is what you want. Were given the a la carte manu only had to ask for the set menu, while this was happening drinks delayed another table arrived got drinks menu order all before we got our drinks. So bad start, but then once the drinks and food arrived all went well. Delicious food everyone happy with their choice and we made it in good time to go to the Theatre to see Rain Man whice is the most terrific play. Would return.
We had a very good meal, tasty and very good value. But the restaurant did not recognise your £10 cashback offer. Fortunately, the manager talked to us and gave us a discount. But it was a bit embarrassing for us and the restaurant staff.
The restaurant is in a lovely location by the river overlooking castle. Our waitress was very attentive and the food excellent. Great place to eat before going to the theatre.
We had a problem with cinnamon on the French toast, and it was very kindly remade and a new complete breakfast was presented. Very impressed!
Brilliant as usual, great location overlooking the Thames and Castle , great food, great service, Cote have it all right and at the right price.
Very pleasant situ in Windsor adjacent to the river. Lovely lunch option and great st germaine g&t. Cote is one of our favourites and we look out for them on our journeys
Good service from the staff very attentive and helpful as we had a toddler with us. The food was good the chips could have been warmer but it’s not the end of the world.
A lovely sunny evening was made all the more enjoyable by having a delicious meal at Cote Windsor. Food was delicious and the service from the staff was excellent. Will definitely be back.
We have been to Cote, Windsor on many occasions. Our visit for lunch today was excellent as usual. The choice of food and the service were exceptional.
Booked table by window.( over 2 weeks ago!) Was put in middle of room till I complained. Food was average. Steaks very dry and over cooked. Not the best experience. Took friends and wanted the evening to be special but sadly it was far from it. I have visited cotes on several occasions and have had no complaints in the past but this time I was very disappointed.
Waiters were very polite and quick to deliver food. Great location. We came back after the theatre for desert and coffee, would prefer more selections for deserts.
This must be one of our most favourite restaurants. Every month a change of the menu with always little pleasant surprises. Not to forget the deliciously special gin and tonic that is on offer this month. Finally all praise really goes to the kind and attentive staff. Many thanks to you all!
Went with a group of six all of us had really good food, the staff were friendly and helpful and the restaurant hasgreat views, especially at night
Food and service are excellent each time we visit. Our latest reservation was for a special occasion breakfast, as in previous visits there was nothing to disappoint
Dead insects in the window, told my friend & I we couldn’t have our preferred choice of table due to a no-show reservation. Food good.
Surly waitress! The location was lovely and the food wa amazing. It is really unfortunate that one person can affect your experience so much! Maybe this is how they wanted it to be more authentic french?
Usual good food and service. The gluten free menu has a very good selection and the ambience is pleasant and quiet enough for good conversation around the table.
I took my friend to Cote for her birthday. We had a window seat overlooking the river which was beautiful. The food was great and the staff were fabulous. A lovely evening 😄
The meal was excellent and good value for money, the service was prompt and friendly, the ambiance was great, and the location is unbeatable. I will return!
Went for breakfast, excellent service and food. We all had different breakfasts and each one was excellent. Great value and a lovely view over the Thames.
food was very average, my veal was tasteless. service was very good minute steak seems to be inferior quality beef. time to change menus as regular customers find the choices boring over the years
Consistently great food every time I visit. We received a complimentary gin and tonic which was delicious. We enjoyed the specials and the choice was excellent
Very good meal from prestige fixed menu. Good value, well cooked and presented. Good service too. Certainly worth a visit if you’re in the Windsor area.
Wonderful location overlooking the river. The food was excellent as usual with delightful and efficient service. Would highly recommend this branch of the Cote Brasserie empire.
As usual our visit was most enjoyable . The food was excellent and the staff most attentive. The restaurant was extremely busy but there was no delay in being seated or served. We chose the house white as our wine for the evening, which proved very popular complimenting all our meals. Thank you Cote!
Well up to usual standard. Food service and drinks quality and service all good. Difficult to beat this location with it's views of the river and castle.
very helpful staff and a super speedy service , Menu was outstanding and all dishes served were cooked to perfection , Fantastic setting along the side of the River Thames ...
Excellent food with a good selection from two set price menus as well as the main menu. The staff were helpful and friendly. The setting is lovely with a view of the castle and Thames.
First class location but awful service and cold, mediocre food. Quite possibly the worst restaurant we have been to ever ( and Cote Cheltenham is actually one of our family favourites!)
The online booking was simplicity itself and the reception at Cote` was charming. Our group was offered a selection of tables and we were able to sit in a cool breeze (30°C outside) to enjoy a superb meal in unhurried surroundings. All the staff were most helpful and very attentive.
Excellent meal and good service in lovely location by the Thames. We especially enjoyed gin and tonics - a new flavour for us. I would recommend Cote for an evening out - or lunchtime.
The food was very good, as usual and the service from Hitch was excellent which added to our enjoyment of the whole experience. The table with a river view was also extremely pleasant, wonderful location.
Cote Windsor is one of the best restaurants in the franchise. Top notch staff and management paired with consistently excellent food and service never disappoint. Hard to find a more enjoyable evening out in the Windsor area.
Great food and attentive service. Loved the tartare and the pork belly nice and tender Very reasonable too. Worth every penny. Will be back soon.
Our first visit celebrating our anniversary. On arrival complimentary wine was served which was a lovely surprise and appreciated. Lovely setting, ambience, great friendly staff and beautiful food. Service was faultless. Will definitely be back again soon.
The waiter presented me with belly of pork which I didn't order so waited a short time for my cod. End of meal I ordered a cointreau but was given a brandy - this was rectified but in a brandy glass and not a liquor glass. All the food was enjoyed by my party (4). Being a coeliac and egg-yolk free I always feel 'safe' eating in a Cote Restaurant so I'm pleased to say that no mistake was made at Windsor.
Food was good but too many bees which spoilt the experience. Very annoying and not enjoyable at all Coffee & food was good though -
Very good meal in relaxed atmosphere with fab view all at a reasonable price. Can't ask for more. Attentive and pleasant staff. We will be back .
Great service and fabulous food. The set price menu was excellent. I would thoroughly recommend this restaurant if you are in or around the Windsor area.
This has become my very favourite restaurant. The food is always excellent and service extremely good. I cannot think of any better way to spend a lovely summer afternoon than sitting on the terrace at Cote Brasserie, Windsor, overlooking the river watching the boats go by and eating wonderful food and drinking complimentary cocktails! The price is incredible value too. The set menu is just £13.95 for 3 courses. There is a 12.5% service charge but well worth it.
