Côte Windsor Restaurant

Really good food and very good service. The upstairs dining area is a bit on the noisy side when full. But on the whole a really good evening.

As I always say - we love Cote on the whole. We enjoyed our meal but I must say the service was very slow and it wasn’t the busiest time. Other than that all was good.

Best value on the 3 week vacation! Outstanding food and great prices!!! Risotto fabulous. Weekend chicken special excellent. Best meal in our Windsor stay Go

Great food as always and friendly happy service. We had the set meal which we always have and it's never the same dishes so always a treat to try something new. Such a wonderful location looking out over the river at Windsor, my favorite restaurant.

Ordered chicken from the prestige menu. Had to return it as it was like a piece of leather. It was replaced, but I had to return it again as it was cold. I was offered an alternative but as I'd had to return two meals already I declined the offer. Disappointed, as it's usually excellent.

Pleasant evening. Good service and meal was delicious. Always enjoy our visits to Cote Windsor. Location is best in the area with views of River Thames and Windsor Castle.

A consistent friendly and efficient service, it's always a treat. For a girls night out straight after work we took advantage of the set menu and was not disappointed.

Firstly very friendly and helpful staff Food was hot and well presented with plenty of choice even with the pre theatre menu. Comfortable seats and scenic views of the river.

Very nice meal as always, this has come to be my favourite Coté. The mussels in white sauce were especially delicious. The service was excellent

Lovely birthday breakfast with complimentary Kir Royals. we went for the £10 menu that included a full English breakfast with a juice plus coffee or tea. Great value for money

We made a reservation for Sunday evening dinner. Great staff, excellent service, fantastic food and a great view overlooking the Thames towards Windsor Castle. Would absolutely recommend this restaurant if you are visiting either Eton or Windsor.

Great Service and welcoming staff. The food is always good and the set menus have a wide choice of food so there is something for everyone's taste!

This was for a birthday dinner with adults and children. The staff were very attentive and the kids menu was very good and portions were just right.

We were sat next to a really loud group which made our evening unbearable. We had to wear ear plugs. Food really not up to standard and I didn’t want to tip - it said optional but no method of doing so on the machine. Beautiful location by the river. Shame everything else let it down including service - the noise was so loud he couldn’t hear us ordering.

The quality of the food and the service were good. Both made a valuable contribution to an enjoyable evening. We shall be returing very shortly.

Meal was good, the pork belly was excellent as always. The calamari was more crispy outside than actual squid, I raised this with the staff who they were very polite and passed this onto the chef. Overall a very nice meal, as I have come to expect from Coté Windsor

Delicious wide choice of food in addition to an economical lunchtime menu. Attentive friendly staff. Beautiful setting on the River Bank with fabulous views over the Thames. Highly recommend.

We had a lovely breakfast on a lazy Sunday. The hint is to come before 10am :) The service was prompt and food tasty as always

We love the Cote Windsor ..sitting looking at the Thames and Windsor Castle while having a good meal and great service...Erica served us and we think she is amazing having met her many times!

As usual the food was of high quality. What made my visit most memorable however was the service, for on this occasion I was feeling under the weather. The waitress was utterly understanding and suggested appropriate food for my condition. As a result I recovered and was grateful.

Great Birthday lunch, the staff were attentive and efficient. The food was delicious, the lunch menu was great value. We would definitely return to this resturant

Had a lovely meal with friends before going to the theatre. Excellent food efficiently served and piping hot. Always have a wonderful meal at this lovely restaurant overlooking the Thames.

I love eating here but have a challenge with ordering Medium Steak and it being served hot. It arrived cold and raw so I sent it back. That meant everyone else ate before me,I ate on my own and it was a Birthday Celebration :-( The 2nd steak was lovely just a shame it messed up the dinner. I made sure when booking that they knew it was a Birthday but not up to the usual standard of a glass of Prosseco to celebrate.

Service was good and we liked the set 2/3 course early evening menus which were good value. Our friend from Canada who had never been in a Cote restaurant before was impressed too.

Perfect location next to Windsor bridge with view of the river. Lunch was tasty and service good. Be aware they add a 10% to your bill for service.

On arrival for a booked table was told it wasn’t ready. The entrance door was packed with other customers with the same problem and staff were swamped. Only one waiter in the dining room and service was slow

Very nice meal. Leek starter a little stringy and undercooked that’s all. Waiter very apologetic. Lovely setting. Nice ambience and view. Will definitely return again.

Booked Cote Brasserie for a meal with friends, the food and service was excellent and Cote never fails to deliver . We had the lunchtime special which was very good value

Hosted another special event dinner at Cote Windsor for six. Couldn't find a better venue, food and atmosphere! The staff and management are absolutely amazing at this location!

We four are regulars at Cote Windsor. The food, service, and ambiance are always excellent, this was no exception. One minor quibble - on arrival we were given the a la carte and ‘special’ menus. We each chose items from both menus and there was a ‘discussion’ over whether we could do this. We were not concerned at all about cost, it was simply that particular dishes appealed to us. After the ‘discussion’ and the waiter consulting the maitre d, we got our choices. This often happens and we find it very odd. If we are offered menus we should be able to select whichever dishes we prefer. Could you please respond to me privately on this - thank you.

I think the restaurant is to big to give the service and food standards of smaller Côtes we had to move for a a table of 12 it was to noisy when the meals came thay warm not what I have come to expect

Food good and good attention to allergies. Lovely location. BUT Service very slow and not acknowledged to be such. would go again but emphasise don't have 2 hours for 3 courses

Can’t say it is the most comfortable restaurant, chairs a little uncomfortable and tables a little small. Also, not sure how, but acoustics need adjusting to control ‘noise’ levels - very hard to hear each other’s conversation which doesn’t help! That said the waitresses were attentive, welcoming and efficient and above all the food was excellent!

Went to Cote in Eton last evening and enjoyed the best steak frites ever. Had to follow it with their wonderful creme caramel!., Service excellent and not too intrusive. We were not rushed and came out feeling good.

The experience was great, cannot fault the food and service, would definitely pay a return visit. My daughter and I have eaten at lots of restaurants and you are certainly in the top three.

They’ve nailed it again - great food and service in a buzzy atmosphere - after a good first experience back in April, a return visit was overdue and it met and surpassed our expectations again

The service is always great here at Côte, Windsor. The staff are always helpful. We both had steaks yesterday and they were delicious - highly reccomend!

Good service, good food, good price. We were a group of seven of varying ages and there was something for everyone on a comprehensive menu.

So another nice quite breakfast in Cote yesterday morning. There were just enough customers to give the place some atmosphere but not too many to spoil it either. The Service as usual was great and the food was good too. Yesterday sitting towards the back of the restaurant there were many Swans going about their business on the Thames but if I didn't know better I would suggest they had decided to put on a bit of a show for the American couple dining opposite me. Hopefully some of their selfies got both the Swans and Windsor Castle in the background; this really is a great place to have breakfast and start your day right!

We were late on Sunday evening and still they made us very welcome and the food as always was great.The staff despite the end of the service were friendly and attentive.

A brilliant meal and good value for money with excellent service. Friendly efficient staff just couldn’t get a riverside table as the restaurant was so busy. Always return!

Decent breakfast and lunch options. Shame they have stopped the fixed price options at weekend as used to be good. Other options available and go back occasionally.

We booked ahead and asked for a table by the river - even though there were 3 available, we were shown to tables inside the restaurant or downstairs at the back. After 4 attempts to sit us elsewhere, we were given a table by the river. Not a good start for regular diners here. Service was excellent. Fish very dry and inedible on the daily lunch special menu. Other courses were good. Reported to the waiter that the fish wasn't up to scratch, and he could see we hadn't eaten it. No offer of a free coffee or offer to remove it from our bill.

Absolutely delicious food in a beautiful location and with lovely service. A perfect night out with the ladies and at a very affordable price. Will definitely be returning.

Very good service BUT I tried to book a riverside table as it was a birthday celebration and we were given the worst table in the restaurant - it was so noisy that we could not hear ourselves. We asked to move and was given a very nice table outside - despite it being very windy we all enjoyed our lunch.

Always friendly, prompt and delicious. The views over the Thames to the castle make it all the more special

Great and the creme Carmel is to die for as usual. Now my friends also order it. Superb. Waitress was a lovely, helpful girl. From Hungary. Didn’t get her name.

We liked: the ambiance of the restaurant by the river - and enjoyed the food. The waiter was inclined to present a world weary feel but was more or less OK. The noise level in the restaurant was however very high and we had difficulty in hearing what our fellow diners were saying.

Great position. Good value. steak excellent. We had an unhurried friends lunch and no hassle to finish. Young friendly staff. we will be back soon

Lovely view as always in Windsor, although I had requested a seat by the window and didn’t get it at first. Good service and good food.
