Excellent from start to finish. Fantastic service, super food and a great table overlooking the river.
All things considered, food was good and Cote was up to its usual standard. Will go again
Great lunch as always... lovely ambience and service. Favourite restaurant in Eton.
Great service, venue and amazing food. Would definitely come back.
Excellent as always with superb choice of dishes to suit all ages
Visited on a Sunday evening, they had run out of several things on the menu and some wine too, slightly disappointing. Food was ok, service good, pleasant staff. Overall everything was ok.
A quick meal required prior to a concert. eE had booked on line beforehand and were easily able to change the booking when another friend asked to join us. Staff were ready for us at the appointed time ( we were in fact a bit early) Reception staff were fair - the servers very good. Meal arrived in plenty of time, food was tasty and well priced. Good views from the window too! Cote does what it sest out to do very well.
Great service, great food, lovely location and views. Shame the sea bass was off the menu.
This is third time I have taken clients to this restaurant. There is always a good view of the river and the staff are friendly and always seat and attend to you promptly. This time I had white bait followed by steak frites - excellent. Would definitely also come to Cote with family or friends.
Another excellent visit to one of our favorite restaurants. We will visit again.
Lovely lunch time meal with friends in a lovely setting
Everything was perfect, would highly recommend this restaurant. BeUtiful setting also.
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. We had the economy 3 course lunch. We were delighted (a) with our table - as requested, beside a window over the river (b) with our excellent and beautifully presented food items (including whitebait and boeuf en croute!) and (c) the very friendly and extremely efficient service. We would readily give 5 stars.
It was an excellent Sunday breakfast with my freinds at cote Windsor. We had a wonderful time together. Thanks
Food fine, but far too few staff, queues outside despite booking ahead, and a long wait for our order to be taken. Almost got a parking ticket for overstaying time!! And a stressful Valentine’s lunch. Quite disappointing.
Love coming here great food service location and value for money
Very pleasant evening with good ambiance. Good value with lovely views of castle
This was a lovely lunch time celebration of 32 years marriage. Great food, staff, setting. Couldn't be better with a little sunshine overlooking the Thames. Thank you
Lovely food as usual. Staff behind bar very clumsy and loud which was hard to ignore.
Great service in a great location. Delicious food and reasonably priced
It is always a pleasure to visit this lovely Cote Brasserie by the river Thames. Very relaxing and guaranteed good food, good value and good service. This is one of my very favourite restaurants.
As always we had a lovely time overall, we had a table by the window overlooking the river which was great, service was very good ....we ordered eggs royale our usual brunch meal but we were slightly disappointed as the eggs were over done we could have complained but we didn't so down to us. The only strange thing that made us giggle was we wanted gluten free toast and the waiter said he couldn't take the order he would have to get a manager to do it as we wanted gluten free! not sure why that should have been an issue unless he didn't know what gluten free was. Would definitely recommend you try this restaurant if you haven't already
The food was delicious. As a Coeliac I was extremely impressed by the gluten free menu and the careful preparation of the food.
As usual the quality of food and service was very good. We enjoy our visits to Cotes at Windsor
Good service, food was good was a nice experience all round.
an excellent value meal , good service , seating a little cramped and acoustics not brilliant but this did create a good atmosphere
Great Food great service and combined with value and a very attractive location.
Great location with river view. Good atmosphere with friendly professional service. Excellent fresh food served hot. Third visit & will visit again.
Service was great, atmosphere was great. Food was really great. The only negative was that the floor of the toilet looked like it needed a deep clean. It clearly has not been properly cleaned in a long time.
Very nice lunch. Good food. Good service. Nice view. Cannot fault it.
Food was not up to the mark. Not worth the price would not go again
It is always a pleasure to visit this special Cote Brasserie overlooking the River Thames and opposite Windsor Castle. The food and service are always excellent. Highly recommended
Fabulous waiter and food , need to add non acholholic gin etc drinks to the menu please .
Given the wrong bill paid and then realised. Staff weren’t able to refund on card machine so had to be given cash in difference. Took quite a while to resolve and certainly the mistake wasn’t noticed by them.
The service was excellent and the best thing of the restaurant
Always reliably first class classic French brasserie food in a fabulous setting
I have written a review for on the Cote site already. Food and service good. Special requests completely ignored and my daughter celebrating her 13th birthday had to witness and adult male at the adjacent table being given a candle on his chocolate fondant and having happy birthday sung to him, so it was disappointing that hers was not treated in the same way. We had made a point of stating that it was her birthday on the booking form. We had also requested a table by the window. That was neither fulfilled nor acknowledged.
I eat at Cote Windsor regularly and so do members of my family. We always request a river table and have always been told that if it is possible they will give us one, but that they cannot be booked. I accepted this but when I ate a Cote last week there was a table available that the waitress said had been booked. We had also booked but were given an awful table in direct line with the door which was full of customers waiting to eat, so there was a constant draft. The head waiter said he could not move us but pushed our table away from the draft. I do not understand what the reservation policy is. We all like Cote and the quality of the food but I have never yet managed to get the table that I have asked for. I also always request a quiet table as my husband is deaf and he finds the noise very loud.
Despite requesting a river view when booking we were placed at a table with no view. Very noisy fish had not been boned properly and vegetarian sausages were burnt and potatoes overly salty. Starters only one brought out despite 2 clearly ordered. Starters were served separately. Optional 12.5% service charge was automatically added and had to be requested to be removed. Based on this visit our 3rd visit we will now find an alternative for pre-theatre dining venue.
Tasty food and the friendly service you would expect at Cote. Great river views too!
Good food, friendly staff, good service but a bit noisy.
Restaurant is in a lovely location beside the Thames. We went for dinner before the theatre and whilst not rushed the staff ensured we were finished in time. Duck with cherries excellent as always!
Always enjoy Cote, but Spinach ordered and never arrived. Asked for Mustard twice also never arrived!! Good food - charming staff. Didn't spoil evening as they reduced my bill
As usual creme caramel delicious. It was unfortunate at at 7.30 they had already run out of the pork medallions and pork terrine!!
We had lunch earlier than usual so the restaurant was very uncrowded when we arrived, soon to fill up as the restaurant has such a good reputation. It is not surprising! Everything is to our liking, the ambience, the view of the river and castle, the service, and the delicious food which is such good value.
Delicious food, lovely service, perfect location and great value for money.
Went here with my parents. Lovely view, good food and great service, thanks!
Disappointing, surprised joint birthdays, poor service, extreme noise, cramped seats
Had a great table overlooking the river. Everything we ordered was delicious and served with a smile. Will visit again soon.
Nice enjoyable atmosphere. The restaurant is a firm favourite thank you
