Lovely food, served in a timely manner. Staff are very polite & more than happy to help.
Perfect venue with views of the river. Extensive menu choices from set menu and a la carte. Pleasant staff and a lively atmosphere. Good value for money.
Portions. A little small especially fish pie. There were very few green beans with my Breton half-chicken.
A thoroughly enjoyable evening. Good food, good wine, excellent service and wonderful company.
Lovely venue, friendly staff, delicious food. We will definitely return.
An excellent meal and superb service. Good gluten free choices.
Had to wait a while at the entrance to be seated. After this another excellent experience. The young man serving us from East Timor a delight. The food good quality and fine value. This is the best chain.
All good just a little noisy. Not enough noise reducing fabric on the walls I guess.
Very good. The staff, the meal and the ambience was a high standard
As always we had a very good lunch in great surroundings -with exceptional service from all the staff- most certainly our favourite Cote - The prestige menu is terrific value and the choice is really good for a superior set menu .
A beautiful setting & delicious food nothing could be improved. We particularly like this venue as a pre dining experience prior to the Theatre.
As usual from the minute we entered to the minute we left everything was great. We enjoyed the August Special which is Cote de bough which was gorgeous very succulent washed down with a fruity Merlot. And as ever very attentive staff, and good ambiance. See you again soon. Cheers.
Started with great service. Starters good. Cote de Boeuf was barely warm but tasty. Side of green beans was tiny. Coffees served before cheese and had to ask for accompanying bread and plates, by which time coffees were cold. Waitress seemed over stretched, but polite.
A celebration meal for my husband’s birthday. The food was superb, as always, beautifully presented and was delicious. We all had the set menu which is excellent value for money. Staff attentive and very efficient. Lovely location, we have had many, many meals here and would highly recommend.
Great food, well priced and good service. Position of the table was not the best considering we requested a river view.
We had a superb family meal at Cotes Windsor to celebrate my husband ‘s birthday. The food was excellent, the staff charming and very efficient. Never had a bad meal here and the set menu is excellent
Absolutely beautiful setting! Gorgeous food! Stunning view!!! Couldn’t use the voucher for the free apparol spritz as the food on the other menus were just too good to turn down! Will be returning for sure :) Kind regards Kai
Great venue/location to meet with friends we had professional and attentive service with delicious food which the four of us enjoyed. Well done team this is the reason we keep returning to Cote!
Lovely location by the River Thames, good food and great service.
Tables rather near together. noise excessive. otherwise experience average to good and we would come again trying to choose a quieter tome
We were in an area on the lower floor at the back. There was a very loud group of four on the next table to us and with wooden floors and low ceiling the noise was exacerbated. The food was a very long time in arriving and the lamb dish was very tough. Our waitress was very embarrassed and tried her best to make everything right and offered us further wine on the house which we declined. When we left the restaurant the “seater and greeter” was very apologetic and said had we spoken to her she would have moved us to another table but as the restaurant was so busy I would have thought this would have been difficult however, we did appreciate the offer and maybe we should have done this we did have our bill reduced. The front of house staff were were doing there best and were very sympathetic but this does not obviate the fact that it was a very disappointing evening. I believe the problem was that the kitchen staff were unable to cope with how busy the restaurant was.
Made to feel welcome immediately and shown to table by River as requested. Service brilliant from a charming young man and food from the lunch set menu delicious.
Overall we enjoy Cote meals pre-theatre at Windsor. Occasionally we do have some critical detail, but nto important enough to curtail our enjoyment. On this occasion one out of the four meals was not hot and had to be returned, and on this and the previous visit we the "background music" was very loud and we requested that it was turned down. All requests were dealt with in a very polite and efficient manner.
This is a wonderful location the food is always excellent, beautifully prepared and hot. The staff are very efficiently and friendly.
Excellent service, fabulous friendly staff and superb food...thank you for making our 30th wedding anniversary and our visit to Windsor so memorable !!! Cheers.
Have lunched here numerous times and always top-notch in all respects - food - we chose the simple set lunch menu - and superb service. Our waiter couldn't do enough for us.
Great spot on the river, overlooking the castle.menu a little limited
Really lovely, relaxing breakfast with the girls.great food and excellent service
Wonderful table in the window overlooking the Castle and river, fab service and delicious 3 course family meal with a lovely bottle of wine.Perfect!!!!
Very impressed with the food and excellent service. We will definitely be coming back with family and friends.😄
Excellent services as always food & staff cannot be faulted.
Some of the mains were cold and sent back to be changed
Very pleasant evening, good service and the food was well up to the Cote standard. We were placed at the table we wanted and overall a very enjoyable experience.
Very good food and relaxed atmosphere. Lovely location with great views
Beautiful restaurant on a beautiful river. The best chateubriand steak I've ever eaten. Waitress very knowledgeable and attentive. Great experience.
Great food, location, value and service - couldn't have asked for more!
Always delicious food. Always cheerful and helpful staff. The Windsor and Eton one is my favourite with a choice of inside, or outside by the river. Delightful.
Very friendly staff, no pressure on us re time. This was a reunion of sisters from different parts of the country and the staff allowed us to take time to chat before choosing our meal. The food was lovely and we hope to come again before too long, thank you.,
Having asked for a nice table to celebrate our anniversary, the staff gave us the perfect one next to the river. They surprised us with a complimentary glass of bubbles and our waiter, Rafael, took very good care of us all evening. The food was fantastic and overall, was a great night. Thank you Côte for making our evening so enjoyable.
Excellent food, lovely setting and great value for money. Will definitely be going back.
An enjoyable lunch with good atmosphere, food, wine and service. Will definitely book again.
Good experience. Good food; great service. The only blemish on the evening was the discovery by one of our party, of a piece of plastic film in her parma ham starter. Now, s**t happens and the restaurant handled this issue in exemplary fashion, taking away the starter and replacing it in short order. It might benefit the establishment if they investigated how the contamination happened and took steps to prevent future occurrences, be it by review of preparation procedures and/ or staff training. The incident did not detract from an enjoyable evening.
Cotes was extremely busy when we arrived, 20min wait for our table which was booked two weeks before. ALL STAFF were rushed off their feet, doing their best, they were very polite & apologetic for the delays. Our table for 8 people consisted of a sofa, seating 3 on one side & 5 chairs on the other side and the end. Unfortunately the chair by the shutters left little room for a 9 year old to be comfortable or for the person next to her. They did offer to move us downstairs but we declined having waited long enough. I’m not sure why they have sofas in the dining area, if replaced with chairs it would provide more room. Our waiters were friendly and attentive, food took a while to arrive but given how packed it was, it was to be expected. It was, without doubt, we’ll worth the wait. Our meals were EXCELLENT! Everyone in our party enjoyed their choices. We will definitely visit again.
Excellent staff really wonderful food brilliant atmosphere and lovely table
The food was good but we had to wait way too long for it. We asked to be served beers for the men. We then asked to have our order taken. We asked four time when our main course would arrive. Very disappointed as this was to celebrate our 45 wedding anniversary with our best man and his wife. Will not be coming back!
I have eaten at Cote Windsor and elsewhere previously and always said I would recommend. Not any more Booked for 7.30 and seated by 7.35 orders taken quickly. The starters and drinks arrived swiftly but the food took ages to come out (it was after 9.00) and when it did arrive all side orders were cold and had to be sent back and replaced/reheated and were still only warm when replaced, by this time I couldn’t be bothered to complain again. Also steak was undercooked for medium/well done. Manager was very apologetic and knocked food and drinks off the bill but the evening was ruined. If it hadn’t been for the fact that i was paying with vouchers received as presents I would have left the restaurant and gone elsewhere Manager was very apologetic and knocked
Very noisy (but Eton is a tourist area) and busy which meant initial time to take our order was long. My partner ordered Moules frites with no Crean but it came with no liquid whatsoever. We were going to the theatre do didn’t have time to send it back. Good value for money if you can cope with the noise and busyness.
Exceptional meal from beginning to end. Throughly recommend the Windsor restaurant
Wonderful meal as usual, still our favourite spot to eat in Windsor. Service a little slow tonight, not surprising as it was a beautifully warm day today, and a Saturday evening. Very surprised to learn that Cotes keeps a record of our visits, 27 so far in the last 12 months, shown on welcome screen, think we need a loyalty card and “frequent diner status”!
What a fabulous restaurant with amazing service. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Windsor.
