Very good food and a lovely view would go again

We had a lovely brunch for my birthday. The food was great and service amazing - the food came so quickly despite the restaurant being quite busy! Our waitress gave us complimentary mimosas for my birthday which was lovely :) We’ll definitely be back!

Arrived and had lovely table outside downstairs- quiet spot by the bridge. Food was great service fantastic the only down side was the lady at the front of the restaurant was very feisty!

The staff found us a table outside which was very special overlooking the river. It was my birthday and we had all the family with us. The service was excellent, very welcoming. Delicious food. Thank you Cote for making it such a memorable evening.

we have eaten here for breakfast and dinner many times, the location is great and the staff are usually very friendly and attentive. on this occasion, we felt there were not enough staff rota, on and they were rushed off their feet which resulted in our bill being wrong and charged for olives we did not receive and two comp cocktails also being charged, this was swiftly resolved and we look forward to dining again at cote Windsor in the future.

Had a beautiful dinner at Cote, with attentive staff. We didn't feel rushed during the evening and got to enjoy the beautiful views over the river

There is still a need for staff at the reception desk. Too much time there is spent waiting for someone to receive arrivals, otherwise everything was satisfactory.

Important to book a table in advance. The restaurant was less busy after 2:30pm.

Best place to have lunch/dinner. Staff very polite and friendly. Food quality is always good and well presented. Will definitely visit here again.

Thank you to the team at Cote Windsor--The food and efficient, friendly service along with the location on the side of the Thames in Windsor make this a special experience. Great for lunch with pals or for a special occasion . Cannot be faulted.

The food was pretty good. My friends and myself thought the background music was not background and much too loud. The staff, especially Mat was very attentive and professional. Other staff served across table which is no no!!!

Cote Windsor never disappoints, the food Is always fab and well presented. Today the service was a little slow between the main and the dessert but well worth the wait.

We dined on a Saturday lunch time and had pre booked. The location, our table and the menu was great. However the service was terrible. Yes, the restaurant was very busy but a restaurant of this size should be prepared. It was not the fault of our server he had far too much to do. He had to pour our drinks himself, take the order, clear away, bring the bill and take the payment. I would visit again but if the service is no better I would not be a repeat customer or recommend.

Booked for our wedding anniversary and asked for a river side table. Very disappointed to find our booking had not been noted and we had to sit at the back of the restaurant. Ruined our whole evening.

Another Cote celebration of my 80th Birthday. Staff at Windsor today& St Martin's Lane, last week, could not have been more helpful making both days great, all at excellent value.

My husband, a friend and I had lunch at Cote on the river in Windsor. Very nice restaurant, good food and service. Surprisingly it was quite noisy and a little hard for us to hear one another. Not normally as noisy as today.

Great location, excellent service and superb food... what’s not to like?

Well all I can say is yet again my visit was fantastic as usual and my wife and I enjoyed the whole experience. See you again soon.

Great table and good food, what more do you want ?

The location and layout of this restaurant is lovely – right on the river and lots of separate areas, which makes it feel more intimate. The ordering process could have been smoother – but we got there in the end. It’s frustrating when one member of staff says something isn’t possible, then another one says it is. Maybe a bit of staff training is needed here. A few items were sold out, which was a bit disappointing – as this took out a couple of items that our party had been looking forward to. The food was good though – in particular, the August specials (grapefruit spritz, tuna carpaccio and hake with roasted peppers). The food is good value for the quality you are getting, but while starter and dessert portion sizes are spot on, mains feel a little on the stingy side. The one vegetarian in our group would have liked more choice. Maybe if things like the chicken and tuna salads could you offered without the meat/fish – this would provide more options without causing the restaurant more work.

Stayed in Windsor for weekend and booked last minute on line and received complimentary bottle of wine with meal. Food was delicious and reasonably priced. Staff very helpful and friendly. Well worth a visit !!

very disappointing - waited almost an hour for our main course and it arrived quite cold! Service was poor and no waiters in sight anywhere. This was our first bad experience in a Cote restaurant as usually so good.

Excellent service, great food and lovely table overlooking the river and views of castle ! Fantastic night yet again - best place to eat out in Windsor / Eton !
