From entering to leaving the whole experience was great as usual
lovely food, service was a little slow towards the end but a lovely evening we had.
2 lovely meals, nicely presented and reasonably priced. Would come again.
Lovely location on a sunny day. Thanks to all j
Die Location ist super, mit Blick auf den Fluss direkt an einer Brücke. Essen und Bedienung sind gut.
We asked for a table overlooking the river, away from the strong sun and got exactly what we needed. Food was delicious and the service couldn't be better. Many thanks you lovely people!
As always we had a lovely meal and very good service. I dropped my fork and the waitress was straight there with another one and I didn't even have to ask. Great attention to detail. The food is always tasty and the setting overlooking the Thames is the best. I requested a table outside or by the window and we got a lovely table in the sun by the riverside. Thanks to all for making our brunch very enjoyable. We will be back.
As usual the food was very good, however the service was was rather on the slow side most unusual for Cote
Excellent food and sat by river looking at the Queens residence
We booked a table by the riverside and it was lovely and sunny sitting there overlooking the Thames. We chose the veggie breakfast which was delicious alongwith freshly squeezed orange juice and 2 pots of tea all for £10.95 each well worth it. We got 3 cups of tea from each pot! Breakfast is served until 1pm at the weekend which suits us just fine.
Great food for a great price. Regrettably, the waiter was not very friendly at first (later became more friendly), also we had to wait very long to receive the menu cards and after that to order at least the drinks.
The greetings team gave us a very warm welcome. The service was excellent, never intrusive, ever attentive. The food was delicious. The reason why only 5 stars is because of the access to the toilets. I have difficulty walking, particularly on stairs of which there were many. The visit was not spoiled by this, but it did put a blot on our evening.
We left after being seated no one speaking to is after 15 minutes
Great menu, spectacular setting and always consistent. Our prime choice for dining in Windsor and eton.
Delightful staff, they seem to be a team that have bonded it felt like we were waited on by a group of friends..a lovely atmosphere. The food was the usual high standard....thank you Cote Windsor.
We were served (again) by an excellent waitress. Food very good. Huge portion of profiteroles. Yummy
Super meal and drinks, perfect setting, its a beautiful view overlooking the river and castle. Fantastic service, the ambience here is second to non. Eton and Windsor is beautiful and the food is super
Friendly, efficient service. Lovely food. Great views by the river. Perfect.
Amazing location, great food, staff were lovely. One of the best Cotes I have been to.
We eat at Marlow, Amersham, and Eton Cote a lot, twice at Eton last week. The service was appalling. It took over an hour between starter and main course. Two of us ordered steak and frites. Both steak meals were inedible. The beef was so tough, it could not be chewed. I do hope you will consider finding a meat supplier that is of a decent quality . The waiter’s excuse was and I quote “we never know from week to week which cuts of meat we get”!!!! It was all very disappointing.
A great slick operation with very consistent plates of food plus a very attentive & hard working head waitress.
Great food Great service Great view that sums it up
Great Food, Great service ,Great view ,table we requested on line we were given, perfect ,very pleased
Fantastic experience, great service, delicious food, beautiful on the river
Very nice restaurant, however not enough food on a plate. My friend had duck and come without any additional food( potatoes, veg) For that price will be nice to receive some veggie.
We enjoyed our lunch, the food and service were very good, the upper level was busy and the noise made hearing each other very difficult.
Delicious food, cozy atmosphere, great service, beautiful being right on the river
Dirty toilets , sticky floors both in toilets and restaurant. Same cloth used when asked to clean tables that were sticky. Never heard of anti bacterial wiping!! Food was nice and so were the staff. Just need to up the hygiene standards.
Service slow toilets dirty food ok overall acceptable just about
Took 50 minutes to get menus and some drinks and when they did bring the drinks half of them were missing. We had to get up from the table to get service and again when everything arrived it didn’t come together, things were missing and the food wasn’t cook properly. Overall a terrible experience but great location. Not the first time i’ve Heard of this happening either.
Very good service. Excellent Ambience and lovely food. Will recommend to friends, and likely to come again myself
Far too understaffed for a Sunnyvale Sunday morning and breakfast not worth the money due to value. Yogurt, pastry and fruit salad are hard to execute with average results. Pastry cold and not given choice but then plain croissant, fruit salad quality watery and yogurt ok.
As it was a friends birthday we asked for a table with a view when booking. We had a lovely riverside table with the best view of Windsor Castle. Our waiter was friendly and efficient and really cared about us having a nice evening. All of the food was delicious (as usual at Cote) and we will be back ASAP! Thank you.
Wanted a table in a quite corner. Got exactly what we needed. Food and service were fabulous! Many thanks
Great food. Attentive staff, who did everything in their power to makes us welcome, despite being short staffed.
An excellent value for money meal from the Prestige Menu sadly the duck parfait was too rich and not a good choice but the Calamari a very generous portion and cooked to perfection! The rib eye steaks were perfect and service brilliant as always by this young friendly team!
Excellent liked the gin cocktail. Food very good too. Lovely view of castle and Thames brilliant location.
Great food, service and ambience. Can’t wait to go back again!
Fabulous location and great food. Service was good as well
I am a 96 yea old disabled person who uses a wheelchair and can only visit this restaurant because of the exceptional assistance given by a very, very helpful staff. Could my appreciation be passed on to Eglija and a young man (I do not know his name) who pushed my wheel-chair up inclines. Richard Stokes
A love time at cote. Staff were accommodating and the food was lovely.
Nice food but very slow service. Waiters had little knowledge of the vegetarian menu.
Cotes Windsor, lovely service, lovely staff, excellent food, many breakfasts enjoyed by the Thames :)
Great location. Great service. Great food. One of our fav restaurant in Windsor.
Beautiful setting beside the Thames at Eton and lovely brunch.
Friendly staff. Very slow service and cold food. Too noisy
Breakfast was just stunning, as is the setting. Service is a bit slow, but the food and River Thames makes up for it.
The food and staff were very good although the table we sat at was almost in the corridor so not much privacy
Great Customer service as always! Always feel welcome and looked after.
Steak turned up rare when requested well done. Took about ten minutes to organise for it to be sorted by which time our party had finished their meals. Cutlery handed to those sat on the further side of the table when waiting staff could have walked around not to mention handing steak knives to two of our party, sharp end first! Asked to pass our plates up the table which was bizarre again given waiting staff could have walked around. Generally felt the service had gone downhill. Really disappointed with the overall experience. Food was ok nothing spectacular which is a shame as it’s such a lovely location and used to feel very special whenever I have visited.
