Brilliant experience, the staff were very attentive, the food was delicious and the location was perfect

Great location for a lunch in Windsor, riverside carpark 2 walk minutes. Well looked after including my 4 year old grandson Jack. Great food, great service, fair prices.

The food was fabulous,the staff were very attentive. Very noisy.

We enjoyed our experience at Cote. Only comment would be that the vegetarian meals were not so good. Our vegetarian guests did not enjoy their food as much as we would have hoped

Superb as always. I am fortunate to live local to Cotes Windsor and dine here regularly at least once every month. Guaranteed great food, service and ambience. Breakfast Lunch and Dinner, all delicious & we had such a great evening last night with a bunch of friends. see you again soon!!

As usual very nice but busy staff. An extra waiter was needed. The end atrium is hugely noisy and makes normal conversation difficult. St Chinian 2018 a snip. Starters all good. Steak so-so. Oh yes - the free with a la carte Blood Orange vodka martinis were rather good.

It's a very pleasant and convenient location and I very much enjoyed the experience, as usual, It's obviously popular - always a good clue - and it's not hard to see why. The delicious brasserie type food is excellent value for money and the service was - again, as usual - friendly and efficient. (I asked our waitress if she could break down a £10 note - with a view to- giving her a much deserved personal tip on top of the suggested 12.5% - she had e.g.willingly wiped up some spilt coffee and brought me another cup, without any extra charge - but she said she was unable to do that.

Very good and friendly staff.. ⁹The location by the river Thames in Windsor and castle views is unique. I strongly recommend this restaurant for a pleasant lunch or dinner.

Food was as usual delicious and it was good we had the table we’d specifically requested, thank you. Sadly we all discussed during the meal and finally agreed later that the service did not match any service charge; (tho I did pay most of it !) Service at 12+% should at least include helping and storing of coats, and pouring the wine. We noticed this and all objected strongly too to the stretching in front of diners to pass their food and additional cutlery. In fact we might have had better service in a pub. Cote does not purport to be a fine dining restaurant,; equally it should not include the ‘discretionary charge’ printed on the bill.

My partner and I wanted a romantic dinner for our belated valentine's day as we both work shifts in the nhs. I had pre booked a table weeks in advance. The table wasn't ready when we arrived. We had to wait awkwardly to one side while the couple behind us were seated first. We wanted a quite table out the way we were put next to a large 30th birthday group with screaming children running around. We couldn't hear each other speak for most of the night. The food was nice but my main wasn't very hot. Had to wait ages to ask someone for the bill. This experience wasn't as good as last time and it wasn't the romantic meal we had hoped for.

Staff from various countries extremely polite and efficient. What will we do if Brexit impacts on them. All truly great.Excellent venue with our favourite riverside window. Best in Windsor.

Food and service were fantastic. The evening was marred at the end as we left and my partner took a tumble in the corridor. The used wine ice buckets had been left to the side of the narrow passageway and there was some water spillage resulting in a very unladylike slip to the ground. ( I have to say there was some assistance from the bottle of white and a couple of Malibu's 😀). She is now nursing a very sore butt cheek (photo not attached). Maybe you would want to consider a different place to leave the used ice buckets in future? But in all a fine evening and we will come again of course! Kind regards, Alan

Beautiful place, the staff is very nice, Valentines menu was delicious, the only sharing dessert for 2 was too small. In general very good experience.

The staff were amazing from start to finish, always checking everything was alright, showing a general interests in us and our night, Nothing was to much for them, a work force to be proud off !!! Also the food was amazing!!!!! from start to finish cant wait to come back again

Great valentines set menu, desert could have been served quicker as some things had melted but other than than great service and food.

All I can say is that I have frequented this Cote from the day it opened and it has always been great, I enjoyed my meal and the whole experience as usual from the welcome on entering to leaving. See you again.

I always go to cote for every special occasion. Food is delicious and outstanding. I would rate it as a michelin star. There’s no waiting time if you book your table and the staff is very welcoming

We had a pre-theatre meal at Cote Oxford on Wednesday. We both ordered the chicken and bacon parmentier but the sauce was very runny like it hadn't been thickened. The flavour however was excellent as usual. When we mentioned this, they offered a replacement meal, but we declined, partly because it tasted good, and partly because we needed to get to the theatre! To our surprise they took off the price of one entire meal at the end as a goodwill gesture! So, excellent service as usual!

Excellent iin most respects., but the table we were given was not what was requested . Other diners at 12.15 were occupying the window seats on the river frontage. We booked a long way ahead but obviously no table was reserved for us, in accordance with our wishes

As usual an excellent lunch. One day I will get the recipe for your creme caramel which is the best ever and always pleases. Look forward to seeing you soon.

Our Wedding Anniversary dinner and we enjoyed our meal, the service and the ambience. Our chateaubriand was perfect. Set us up beautifully to go onto the Windsor Theatre.

Food and value excellent as usual. For first time in many pre-theatre visits, slow food delivery almost made us late. But when made aware of our concern, first-rate staff engaged top gear and saved the day ( or rather, evening). Despite sad loss of complimentary kir, not a reason to switch to Tapas or Wagamama!

Excellent experience. I requested a table by the window with a view of the castle and we were not disappointed. The view of the bridge and castle was fabulous. The food was excellent and the service fantastic. Highly recommend!

A really pleasant evening which the 4 of us really enjoyed, good food and drink, good service and a really pleasant atmosphere with only a slight negative about the noise level. However there was an issue that, while it was dealt with a generous response by the restaurant, should not have occurred. We have a local Cote Brasserie in Amersham but chose the Eton branch because of the river view. Knowing these tables were very desirable the booking was made 3 weeks in advance. However we were told that the booking system didn't recognise this fact and later bookers were given river view tables ahead of us. This problem needs to be resolved as we need to be able to have one's forethought recognised and the request honoured.

I would have liked some baked beans with the English breakfast.
