Côte Windsor Restaurant

We went to Côte in Windsor early evening. The view was lovely and the service brilliant. I have Coeliac Disease and the Gluten Free menu was brilliant and the food arrived carefully marked with a flag. The 5 of us had lovely meals and thoroughly enjoyed our evening.

As always the food is superb and cannot fault on service very friendly staff thank you!

Always wonderful food and good atmosphere and good value for money

We met with old friends on Friday 6 March at 7.30 pm in the expectation of having a great evening with wonderful food as we have enjoyed in the past at Cote Windsor. We were sadly disappointed. My half char grilled Breton chicken dish was totally lacking in flavour and not worth eating. Even the side of french beans were awful - maybe microwaved? Mike chose a different chicken dish which was indifferent and Deanna had a mixed fish ensemble which was very dry. The total bill for 4 of us was quite substantial. We are disinclined to repeat the experience.

We went for a pre theatre meal as usual, just before the Government announcement on Coronavirus. The service was excellent as usual, and the 3 course meal was too. Probably our last meal out for a long time, and so we very pleased it will be such a good memory! The theatre shut just before we got there, and so we went home, but were glad to have had a nice early evening at Cote, Windsor.

We did have a good time at windsor. The food was great, als the service was great.

Always a great service and great location looking over the River Thames. Breakfast is s good size but unfortunately today the food temperature was low. We were asked if we wanted it replaced but we had already started eating and was limited on time. Just felt like it was played too early before serving.

Meal was not as good as usual and service was slower with less visible staff my all 3 chicken dishes was over cooked. I'm guessing staff were stretched to the limit due to illness I'm not sure. In those circumstances it was a good effort. Really enjoyed the comp cocktails too. Cote is an amazing restaurant and brand and this was a blip we will definitely be back!

Absolutely wonderful. I’m still here! We arrived a little late to a very warm welcome. Had the choice of lunch or breakfast or weekend specials. Veggie sausage was fantastic. Was noisy though.

Lovely food & good service as always. We would have liked the table for 2 by the window which we asked for on the way in, however the staff member advised that it was for 4 people. We took a closer look when we left and the table (still unoccupied) was clearly for 2.

As always and excellent meal - we enjoyed the March Specials menu.

A lovely lunch. Excellent steak frites. Excellent service. A Table by the window so a good view of the river. As always a very pleasant unhurried afternoon.

The staff are lovely - everyone was calm and extremely polite. The atmosphere is tranquil for a busy restaurant but that maybe down the restaurant being setup in a series of rooms. As always it was a lovely experience. I have never been let down once at Côte. The food was perfectly cooked and relatively quick to arrive. My guests and I enjoyed our food and ate it all. The portions are good. We only ate mains and then had coffee but from previous visits when I’ve eaten a starter I can’t usually finish my main. I would recommend Côte because it’s so frequently good

When I booked I said bringing a friend to celebrate her birthday could I have window table , that did not happen we were a step back from window but that was ok , we ordered some olives ,which we thought we would have with our wine while waiting for our main but they never came .our meal was very nice and we never felt rushed the young male waiter who finished attending to us was extremely pleasant . If I have one problem with the meal ,it would have been nice to have a few more beans on the plate our meal was the chicken.

We were shown to our table promptly at the booked time. Service was cheerful and good. Excellent food and wine, plus a complimentary cocktail. Altogether a delightful meal.

Service was OK, nothing special despite myself paying the £25 gratuity. The service initially was so slow. We had to wait for our table and then once we were finally seated we waited about 15-20 mins before we ordered drinks. I then had to call a waitress over. Once we were finally served the service was good.

Nice staff and atmosphere as usual. Starters we fine. However, for the first time we had to send back 2 duck mains as they were tough and inedible. This really does spoil the whole meal, because if they are redone everyone does not eat together, the whole point of our family lunch for 4. We opted to skip those 2 mains and the cost was taken off the bill. We would rather have had the quality meals we have been used to for many previous visits, making you our preferred restaurant in Windsor.

Food was delicious as it always is when we visit ....service was great and our waitress went out of her way to make sure we enjoyed our experience

My wife had a selection from the lunchtime premium set menu while I chose from the "specials section" of the a la carte menu. Her calamari followed by a half chicken dish and my crevettes followed by the herb chicken cordon blue were beautifully cooked, well presented on the plate(s) and tasty! The Jerusalem artichokes with my chicken was a bit of a surprise as I was expecting the "globe" variety, but with the spinach complimented the Chicken perfectly. The free cocktail also went down a treat! The coffee after were hot and strong. It was a great lunch all round.

Great value for money too. I will be back for sure....
