We went for brunch and the food was delicious. There is a good range to select from as well which means it’s equally as good for vegetarians as well as meat eaters. The overall price for brunch was good, it’s in a lovely location next to the river and the waiting staff were all very friendly and attentive. There is a 12.5% discretionary service charge added to the bill rather than the usual 10% but I assume that’s because you are served by multiple staff and not just one as it often the case. We will certainly look to make brunch here a more regular occurrence.
Lovely staff. Beautiful food. Beautiful experience. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a lovely night out. I went with my new fiance and we absolutely loved it.
We were thrilled with our lunch yesterday. We had French guests with us and were so pleased to be able to sit by the balcony with wonderful views of the river, bridge and castle. Our waiter spoke excellent French and English which delighted our guests and our sea bass and duck were superb. Many thanks Cote Brasserie, Windsor, especially when the restaurant was so busy.
I enjoyed the food but sadly the service was woefully slow. It was over half an hour before our order was taken and then only because I got up and asked someone. The room was also extremely noisy and I could not have a conversation with my guests. The set meal was not as good value as it appeared as vegetables were extra and portions were small. Also I reserved a window seat but did not get one. A disappointing first visit. I wouldn’t rush back.
Great service, it was my 30th bday and the waitress brought me over a glass of bucks fizz. Food was great and so was the company. Will definitely come again.
Had a really nice evening with my friend the restaurants I felt could do with a little bit of TLC and there was a very unpleasant smell when we walked in not that bad but it should be smelling of food nice
Wonderful lunch, food as always, very good, the staff, although really busy, were very attentive and pleasant. We have dined here on many occasions and have never been dissapointed. Keep up the good work.
A really lovely place the food was great the staff were really friendly and the location was just fab will come again until next time
When we arrived it was absolute chaos on the front desk with people queuing out the door and the lady on the front desk let someone who was behind us push in and then ignored us when we queried it. When we were finally greeted they said that our table (that we had booked) wouldn't be ready for at least 15 minutes. My husband then pointed out a free table and they sat us there but as it was set for 4 (there were two of us) we then found out that we weren't being waited on because they thought we were waiting for more people. When we finally ordered our food came before our drinks (coffee which doesn't go great with moules frites) and they said it's because there is only one person making coffees. We love the food and the setting here but feel the service and coordination of the experience could use some improvement.
Service slow, tables left uncleared after finishing courses for a considerable length of time. When booking mentioned it was a special occasion as it was my husbands birthday and again we was asked when we arrived. Most restaurants do something when they know it’s a birthday if your facilities don’t offer this then don’t keep asking. Food was OK not fantastic, errors in startes and left waiting with little or know apology. Having looked on Trip Advisor I notice this appears to be a recurring theme here won’t be visiting again will go back to my local Cote in Wokingham. Never had any issues and never had any complaints for £132 pounds I feel extremely disappointed for what was a special day thank you for ruining it for my husband.
Really lovely meal here again on Sunday and so good we ended up back here again on the Monday. Stayed for a 2 night break over the recent Bank Holiday weekend and came here last year so booked again for the Sunday night in case it was busy. Really good food and service was very good. Staff attentive and friendly and food amazing. Thanks again for 2 lovely meals
The service was exceptionally slow! I had to ask three times if I could order! The manager eventually offered us a free mimosa each to compensate, to be fair we had finished our brunch coffee and orange juice by then. We all asked for runny poached eggs and both my friends for that, however BOTH of my eggs had solid yellows....not what I had specifically asked for. Shame.....
Wide menu choice to satisfy everyone. Always good quality tasty food. Even better if you can get a table with a view of the Thames.
Great location but service was SO slow. We waited nearly an hour just to get our drink! Food was ok but nothing special. Slightly underwhelming
A suburb evening meal for my wife and I ,anniversary celebrations with a perfect of views.
Lovely lunch with work colleagues, sitting in the conservatory, over looking the Thames. Food and service was great and good choice in lunch fixed menu, and great value.
All good, booking worked, great table and service. Food was good to just okay.
Food and service were excellent.Apartfromthe fact one of the meals was not as hot as it should have been however the Manager adjusted the bill to compensate. We will definitely be back.
Lovely location and the best breakfast in Windsor. Love coming here! The cooked breakfast deal is very good value and is delicious. Would highly recommend a visit.
Beautiful setting . but busy ,so less attention given to details of customers needs or timings of food ie coffee ten minutes before your dessert arrives waiter argued that coffee always comes before your dessert. Our meal ended with a sad face. Hoping next time is better .
Steak ordered medium rare, served medium. Waiter forgot one starter and a couple of drinks .. teething trouble, but not Côte's usual level
Loved the restaurant , loved the food, loved the table and views, staff all very pleasant and professional .Only minor issue was a group of lady’s close to us that were far too loud which took a little of the shine off but it wouldn’t discourage us to come again .
It’s a lovely setting and was annoyed at first that could not sit where we wanted. But the manager was very good and seated us downstairs with a river view excellent service, excellent food and wine could not of been better. Full marks all round.
Thanks, great table, was able to discuss my business in nice surroundings with excellent food. Will be back in the summer when I can appreciate the view even more.
It was OK. The steak was good, the mussels were good, t he chips were cold but the strangest thing was waiting 10 minutes to be seated!
Very enjoyable Wedding Anniversary lunch. Food and service, excellent as usual in all your restaurants and of course the location in Windsor would be difficult to beat. Loved the complimentary Negroni aperitif. As I sat looking at the Union Flag fluttering in the breeze I wondered if you flew the French tricolour on Bastille Day? Then the flags for St David's Day 1st March, St Patrick 17th March, St George 23rd April, and St Andrew on 30th November. Would seem appropriate in a town like Windsor. Regards, David.
My third visit here, again staff running around like headless chickens. Shame as venue is stunning, again had to chase our order and even when we received our meal it was not correct, we then spoke with the manager whom kindly resolved the issue
It was very nice to meet friends at Cote Windsor where we could have a nice open view around Windsor Castle. Good Quality of food which are well cooked and kindly served. My friends including myself had a lovely Sunday morning at Cote Windsor.
The restaurant was extremely busy and seemed under staffed. Our waiter looked after a lot of tables and 2 starter meals failed to arrive but he was so charming, attentive and respectful it made up for the error. The following courses arrived super quick. The food was full of flavour and venue lovely with good views. Would not hesitate to return or recommend.
Fabulous food, requested river view seating, thus was ready when we arrived. excellent service not too attentive just right and very polite Will definitely be going again soon
Had a great table, exactly what I requested. Friendly staff, mentioned it was Mother’s Day in my country and waitress ( it was Mother’s Day in hers too ) sent complimentary Kir Royale. Nice touch !!!!!! Waiter also charming ( can’t remember his name, he came from East Timor ). Food great, all very tasty. Windsor hasn’t got much ( for locals ) with a relieble dining experience that has the WHOLE combo of always nice food, people watching AND great views. I like the fact it’s not too noisy , rare in restaurants these days. You can actually relax and talk. Great evening as usual.
Great staff a bit noisy for the hard of hearing
We are regular visitors to Cote in Marlow and have always been happy with the food and service, however our visit to Windsor was a great disappointment. When we arrived for our 7.00pm booking we were offered the set menus even though they finished at 7.00pm. We had to wait for our friends ,so did not start ordering until 7.20. We asked if it was still ok to order and told yes, then the head waitress/manager told us to order quickly and it would all be at the prestige price. The service thereafter was poor, the attitude of this manager was surly and the table was not cleared properly leaving some main dishes behind. The bill was requested and then needed to be chased, all in all a poor experience.
Staff and food were excellent. we always take our house guests there.
Allways good food atmosphere and surroundings are allways nice I would recommend to everyone to go and have a meal there
Delicious food in a unique location - but staff need to smile more - you could be working somewhere sooo much worse!
Very pleasant meal with our Grandson, we have been before, it’s is a great spot on the River
This was a great evening, we were a large group with young children and Cote Windsor were most accommodating making it a lovely experience, Thank you Cote
Had an amazing time with my wife. Excellent for dates and break the routine 😊
Disappointed - chaos trying to get into Restaurant. Chicken Liver parfait not set and so sent back. Decidedly average - worst Cote experience I have had
Very good service. The restaurant was incredibly busy and the staff were coping very well. Can’t help feeling a few more waiting staff would have helped, however I must stress the guys who were serving were great.
Went to vote Windsor for our anniversary dinner and from the moment we arrived, we were treated with a lovely table overlooking the river. We were treated to a complimentary glass of rose prosecco which was a lovely touch to our evening. We had the flatbread for starters and some of the special mains which were exquisite to taste. The flavours and the portion sizes were perfect and the service was swift and very friendly. Would Defoe recommend that when in Windsor, to dine here if you fancy really good food with a beautiful view of Windsor castle and the ri0ver, especially at sunset.
Ok food, amazing service and environment. Would advice all to go to Cote in Windsor. Especially on a hot sunny day, eating next to river is superb
Extremely busy night. In the main dining room one young man (server)held the place together, he managed to not look stressed and rushed. Even though my duck was too undercooked for me to eat, the manager very kindly exchanged it for another dish. All handled promptly and without fuss. All in all the service made up for any small problems. I would certainly recommend this restaurant for excellence service, and good food.
I live in Windsor and have been to the restaurant many times. The food and service is consistently great and a lovely location as well.
Very good overall, service was good and polite, room was not noisy at all. Very well cooked food, great atmosphere all together was a very good evening .
It’s probably the best Cote we have been to. Lovely place, great service - we were looked after well.
Great location, with a lovely view over the Thames. Attentive and knowledgeable staff and delicious food. A member of our group had coeliac disease and the staff where very aware and knowledgeable, which was reassuring. The restaurant is CoeliacUK approved. Highly recommended
Never fails. Good food, good view and great staff. Thanks again Cotes Windsor
Overall it was good. We had booked a family lunch for mother’s day but there was nothing offered complimentary to the mother ( my wife ). There was periods of waiting between courses and waiting to pay
