Côte Windsor Restaurant

Great food and a beautiful location overlooking the river in Windsor. The staff seemed to be coping well with the COVID restrictions and everything seemed well-managed. Thanks for a lovely meal.

Well organised. We got the table we wanted by the river & not cramped (much better than before). I will say the portions were small. My husband looked like he had ordered a child’s portion but both meals were tasty. It was prompt & friendly.

Just back from COVID so food not so great but all else really good as usual

Everything was excellent, service, setting next to river, quality of food, except that one of the rib-eye steaks was rather tough and grisly, whereas the other one was perfect - but that is often the risk with rib-eye. Overall we had a very enjoyable evening and will be visiting again soon.

Disappointed that the steak tartare and Creme brûlée We’re not on the menu

We had a lovely meal last night at cote! We felt we had our own space so felt very happy. The waiter and waitresses were fab. Polite and no pressure. Overall it was a great first meal out after such a long time. Oh and the food was yum!

Considering the situation, the service was great. We had a starter, main and dessert each. Calamari and patê was lovely, just perfect! The pork belly was probably the worst dish I’ve ever had at cote. The sauce was so watery, and the cabbage was just soaked through with no flavour at all. The belly tasted dry, - why service Pork belly and not even stock apple sauce to go with it?? Wouldn’t have that again Desserts were average

The teams service was once again very good and the covid measures did not get in the way for our first meal post lockdown - only mildly let down by a side dish not hot and a sweet that was quickly replaced and even deducted off the bill. This is their week 1 back and they did a good job and we'll certainly return.

Food was great, service a little slow but that’s expected at the moment. With all the windows and doors open, the restaurant was a little cold.

Excellent reception, new procedures explained, quickly seated and as always superb service with no fuss. Food up to the usual high standard, we booked because we had enjoyed our last time here so much. Different experience because of the new rules but somewhere I would always come to when I visit Windsor.

Lovely relaxing lunchtime in Windsor. Attentive kind staff, spotless restaurant, fantastic food. Nicely spaced tables, I’ve always hated being near tables of 6 and more when people are rowdy and shouty with no consideration for others. Perfect.

Lovely place, sat by the river. Our waitress was so lovely and the other staff were also friendly. First night out since covid and felt very safe.

Very good, felt safe and very clean and well maintained store. The waiter who served us was very friendly too.

Enjoyed a quiet pleasant post-lockdown Wednesday Lunchtime meal in Windsor. Came back for Just Desserts at 5:15 and the restaurant became disturbingly crowded & noisy so eventually had to flee. Be safe.

Really pleased that you've reopened - even with the restrictions in place we felt 'normal' and there was a nice buzz. Hope more people come out and support you in the coming weeks.

Not disappointed with our first meal at Cotes after Covid restrictions were lifted. Great food and excellent service.

Service was poor .. garlic bread but no plates to put it on .. not attentive had to keep asking waiters to come to us .. I did tell the staff this at the time so I’m not a keyboard warrior

Very impressed with the care taken at this time. Staff wearing masks was reassuring & use of gel, wipes & gloves was good. Everyone was helpful & friendly & the food very tasty. Keep up the good work, not many places are doing as well as Cote so we will happily return.

Sadly you are out of practice after 3 months the tuna in the salad was overcooked and the apple tart a bit leathery But it was such a joy to eat in public again you're forgiven

Really pleased to return to Côte, Windsor for dinner. Enjoyed our evening as usual. However, the payment was presented to me as a non negotiable amount. Closer inspection revealed that 12.5% optional gratuity had been added. So, additional service charge of £18.51. This is not acceptable to me. I would therefore be grateful for a full refund of this or I will not return.

Everything went really well, the waiter was extremely helpful, we never had to wait, the food was lovely and he made our anniversary lunch extra special.

So lovely to be back in Cote Windsor! Everything felt very safe and organised. Gorgeous food and service as usual. Really happy atmosphere with people enjoying being out and about again. So happy things are feeling a bit more normal, just waiting now for brunch to resume!

We were impressed by the care taken from start to finish. The spacing between tables was very good we felt comfortable throughout. Service was efficient and the young man who served us was very polite and pleasant and not intrusive. A lovely evening celebrating birthdays.

Good to dine again at Cote Brasserie (Windsor) after an absence of four months. It was all almost the same with minimal impact of the constraints of Covid-19 rules. The service and the food (and the bill) were unchanged except, to my dismay, French onion soup was not on the menu! The manager explained that they could not include one or two items until the network of Cote Brasserie had opened more restaurants. The restaurant was less than 20 per cent full, but then we were there late Monday afternoon, which would not be busy even in the best of times! Given that we had booked to dine inside, I did think it was unnecessary to have one partition wide open.
