Côte Windsor Restaurant

Lovely weekday lunch. Service a bit slow. Good value for a Brasserie style lunch. Steak Frites and chicken salad. Took a while to pay the bill but otherwise good

Apart from a query on the bill dinner and service was good. Also it was a birthday dinner and unfortunately they couldn't offer the table overlooking Thames we requested

A very nice welcome from the staff.Food excellent and a lovely view of the river.Booking is important if you want to enjoy your meal.Finished with a lovely dessert.Would recommend the restaurant to any family or friends who want to have a relaxing meal

Friendly and helpful staff, very good food, and a good view of the river Thames. We asked a week earlier for a table with a view of the river and we were very pleased that this was possible. I would strongly recommend a visit to Cote Brasserie in Windsor.

Very good food. Excellent service. Very hot food. Would recommend the creme caramel. We had a lovely table by the water and really enjoyed our evening family meal

Made a reservation and requested a river view table, however the table that was allocated for us was given to the couple who arrived just before us, a matter of seconds before. We were actually taken to the table but made a sharp turn when he saw it taken by the previous couple. Anyway, the waitress at our table was very Polite and friendly who managed to turn the whole situation around. without knowing what happened. Food was Good, had calamari starter which was PERFECTLY cooked and the Sirloin steak for main which was a bit fatty but cooked to the way I wanted it. I would have rated it a 6 but that mishap seating us lost the extra point.

I have always been impressed by the service from the staff, the food is consistently well cooked and it's a nice setting overlooking the river Thames and the castle.

Had dinner there to celebrate my daughter's birthday. When the waiter heard us wishing her many happy returns he immediately disappeared and came back with a complementary Kir Royale for all of us. A very nice touch. The food was as goos as ever and the staff friendly and helpful. Cote has become my go-to restaurant in Windsor.

Nice food and good service. Building is lovely and in the light I can imagine the views are lovely. Booked to go again with work colleagues.

Fantastic food and Great atmosphere - the Windsor Cote is beautiful with the windows looking over the river! Service can be slow at times (mainly towards the end of the night).

Great location, friendly efficient staff and wonderful food. Our five yards old was treated like a grown up, we watched the ducks and boats gliding past in front of the castle and even the black pudding was home made. Perfect brunch.

I thought the service was very slow. We sat upstairs in the room that over looks the river and it was extremely noisy. Originally my girlfriend and I were sat at 90 degrees to each other which meant I was sitting facing another couple who were right next to us, a little off putting for them I'm sure so I moved to sit face to face. I have been to a Cote before and was very impressed so we had been looking forward to this occasion very much. I could just of been because it was busy but I've been to busy restaurants and service shouldn't be an issue. Very disappointed to be honest. It appeared to me quieter towards the front and downstairs so if your out for a quiet meal sit there instead of the large room at the rear.

What a lovely very dining experience! Restaurant is right on the river, with excellent food and service. Could not ask for a better evening! Loved it!

Always like going to Cote. Primarily it's the location. But also the food is usually interesting and good value. The staff are always friendly and efficient which also counts for a lot. I like the way there are several different levels/areas so that the experience can be different with each visit. [And it beats the food/service at Brown's which is probably its nearest similar competitor!]

At the entrance there was no one to greet us and assign us to our table so a queue grew and we were all obliged to wait several minutes. Even then, when the receptionist finally appeared, he took each person waiting to their table obliging those waiting to wait further. Obviously there needs to be more than one receptionist on duty. Afterwards the meal and service was good.

Spot On again! Outside dining, excellent service and waiting staff. Resumed my confidence in the this wonderful restaurant. Back on track and beautiful setting as we've been used to at Cote Windsor!

Sadly not our best visit Downstairs was chaotic, 2 minutes for a drink, 40 minutes for a meal order. No apologies. Not our usual service at Cote Windsor

Lovely location and food was delicious, although staff were a little slow and ladies toilets are in need of some tlc. Wouldn't put me off going back though.

This was our first experience of dining in a Cote Brasserie, and we were very impressed with the choice on the men; the service was very good indeed; we all greatly enjoyed our food. We will definitely eat in your chain of restaurants again - quite soon!

Really have always enjoyed going to Cote Brasserie in Windsor but just felt it was all terribly rushed . The main course arrived after we'd we'd hardly finished our starter .

My partner and I had a thoroughly enjoyable experience at Cote Windsor. The food was very nice, as was the atmosphere and service. Highly recommended.

Great service, great views and brilliant food. Highly recommended. We never had to wait for wine to be poured or food to be served and it was a great atmosphere.

An excellent evening. The food was delicious and the service was great. The restaurant has a superb setting along the river and is coupled with a lovely atmosphere. I Would definitely go again.

Enjoyed a great evening with my family this evening. Super food and plenty of it,, extremely attentive staff and a fabulous view over the river and Windsor Castle!

We were disappointed. The service was disorganised, the food was average to say the least and the restaurant was so noisy it was nearly impossible to have a decent conversation. We will certainly not go there again at the same time which was early evening on Thursday

Very much enjoyed our set menu which was very good value This branch of Cote is particularly nice on a sunny day when one can appreciate the view. Very helpful staff

Great restaurant, one of my favourite in the area. Great weekend menu offers and fantastic service. Food for the children was perfect and a generous portion.

The food was lovely as always, I have the duck all the time and it's always superb. Service was nice, not too overbearing, and the lighting was almost perfect. Always good at Côte Windsor, though wouldn't mind sitting next to the window for a view of the river one day!

Very enjoyable experience at cote restaurant in Eton. Great service with a smile and great singing voices. The food also tasted good. Will be back

Beautiful location and food selection varied and not over priced for a tourist venue near Windsor Castle and Eton College. We were allocated a great table outside overlooking the Thames River. All the staff were exceptionally well trained and very pleasant.

We were a group of six for lunch and were all happy with our food (including well cooked steaks) and excellent service (sadly don't know the lady's name).

The food was good but the service was slow. We waited 10/15 minutes to be offered drinks when we arrived. Had to ask if we could order our food. We were never offered coffee or tea after our meal. Not good enough really. It was busy but there were plenty of staff.

Lovely location, with great views of the river and Windsor castle . The waiter was very polite and the food was tasty and we didn't have to wait 👍

I have been on a number of occasions and never had a bad experience. The restaurant is in a beautiful location, making the evening even better. Service is great and the quality of the food is tremendous. I would always recommend Cote Windsor to everyone. I loved it.

We received excellent service and the food was very good food at very good value. The Windsor branch has a beautiful outlook on the river.

Good, friendly service and wonderful food. I had the lamb with olives and garlic from the specials menu, and it was awesome. We had a window seat, and we able to watch the boats, ducks and swans going by as we ate.

Lovely table by the window overlooking the river Thames. Fixed priced menu is excellent value and great food. Service was attentive without being over the top.

Just little things missing like side plates for bread and not bringing the oils. Service is friendly and a nice place with a lovely view. You do end up eating very close to somebody which is a little off putting.

Good and wine v nice except one of my chips cooked better than other..had theatre tickets so entitled to free Kirs...had to argue with waiter over that....cust service not so good as before. .especially as I rang earlier....nobody has got my msg..disappointed as was my birthday

Had a Window seat with a Lovely view over the River. Great Menu - lots of choice. Waiter was very friendly and efficient. Love this place, go all the time!

Very straight forward food, well presented which tastes like any good Brasserie in France. The waiter was outstanding and well trained. A very pleasant evening.

very good menu to suit all tastes and budgets , lovely location next to river , very good service and attentive re filling of wine glasses without being too in your face .

Went out for a family dinner. Service was excellent. Food tasty and fresh. The 5 of us were seated in the bay window near the entrance and it offered us lovely views of the bridge and river. Planning on back soon. Can recommend.

Once again this restaurant never fails to deliver on the quality and value for money for its food. .The setting is lovely and the service is good

Gave this place a second chance because of its location, but it continues to disappoint. Just as well it's in a tourist hot spot or it would have real problems.

Very good service, and recognition from our previous visit. Food was good, although my fish cakes were warm rather than hot. Other dishes were fine.
