Disappointing service and also choices from set menu were not available, we should be told in advance! Attitude from the waiter was not particularly helpful.

It was great service by the waiting staff but food very slow to arrive and not the best quality. Restaurant in a great location though.

Lovely venue but unfortunately the waitress was hopeless - she kept saying she was new. We were a party of eight and she totally forgot one of the main courses which meant one person was eating after everybody else - it was only a salad but once we told her the meal had been forgotten she made no effort to hurry it along or apologise. Shame because everything else was really good.

Windsor Cote Brasserie provides the same high standard food as others in the Company. It has one big advantage and that is its location on the banks of the Thames looking across at Windsor Castle. Location therefore perfect, staff excellent.

Poor service and very slow! Staff were extremely dull and slow. We were asked if we had finished our meal to which we replied yes, at this point expecting our plates etc to be taken away. Instead the waiter ignored us and walked away. We waited 45 mins until our drinks/ starters orders were taken. A shambles! Visited for a birthday and can safely say it put a damper on the day!

The location is beautiful, the service was excelllent, and the food was delicious. The only issue was that I asked to be sat by the riverside which I requested when I booked, however this wasn't taken into consideration and I received an insincere apology for that. Despite this, everything else was excellent, and I couldn't fault the restaurant at all.

Great food, lovely staff, beautiful location - only thing that needs attention are the very small, cramped & inaccessible toilets. Good luck finding a solution.

We visit Cote Brasserie - Windsor quite often and to be honest this visit was slightly below average. Staff not particularly attentive, long waiting for food, wrong meals served. Food itself was fine.

One of the staff didn't seem very happy and had an unpleasant attitude. Quite unusual as I'm always very happy with the service. Hope it's a one off experience.

The atmosphere of the restaurant was absolutely beautiful. My vist was on a Sunday night at 7pm and my food came out incedibly fast, with in just minutes of ordering. The half chick with mushroom sauce that I ordered was perfectly seasoned and juicy. Would definitely recommend this restusrant for a good date night or get together with old friends.

Food was delicious, perfect location, friendly staff if a little slow on service. Only reason the score isn't perfect is because the toilets needed a good scrub.

Eggs benedict tasted like cinnamon which I've not come across before. Female staff were friendly but our male waiter was very unfriendly and unhelpful which is a shame. Tip added to the bill when only three of us dined.

Bit of drama actually seating us to start with as there didn't seem to be a spot reserved for us + we had one of the tables without a view of the river which is one of the main reasons I wanted to go and service was a little slow but I still had a good time.

Poor restaurant. Was not advised by the waiter which selections were not on the menu. After deliberation chose the veal in breadcrumbs only to be then told it was not on the menu. Annoying. Chose Filet Steak one well done and one medium. When the steaks arrived the well done steak was medium rare and the medium steak was off and smelt very bad. I spoke to the Manager who I must say was very helpful. He agreed that my steak was off. My 45th Wedding anniversary dinner ruined.

Such a lovely location and we managed to get a river view JUST. It was out anniversary and we therefore wanted it to be extra special - We did ask for a river view via our booking and were lucky they had one left as this had not been reserved for us. The food was good although my husbands steak was over cooked. He requested rare and it came medium- well done. Service was good. It had a good atmosphere and was very busy x

Ate from the lunch menu, food was excellent, plenty and very reasonably priced. would definitely eat there again

Large beautifully located restaurant on the banks of the Thames by Eton Bridge. Food and service was excellent and the waiting staff worked very hard. Our evening was slightly spoilt however, by two groups of diners, either side of us, with exceptionally loud voices. This wouldn't normally be an issue, but we were situated in an area with walls either side of us and the sound echoed around. I'm sure elsewhere in the restaurant, this wouldn't be a problem. Would not stop me from returning though.

Cote always a favourite on my visits to Windsor. Is there a better setting for a restaurant - beside the Thames, shadowed by Windsor Castle - and excellent food at very reasonable prices. The staff could not have been more welcoming.
