We have visited Cote Brasserie Windsor on many occasions and have always enjoyed the experience - however this time our experience was not so good. First things first, the food was excellent but, the service was slow and, although neither we or our friends, were in any rush, but the slow pace of service was very noticeable.
We had a great meal on the Saturday night. The food was lovely and the service was brilliant. I would recommend this restaurant to a friend.
Food is always excellent as well as the service. Lovely setting too. We went for a light supper before our theatre show and both thoroughly enjoyed our evening, especially as we had a voucher from the theatre for a kir royale, highly recommended.
Food was good, thought staff bickered waiters and runners with comments and moods whilst waiting wouldn't recommend sitting close to serving area and saw on couple of occasions staff rude behind customers
When we arrived it took quite a while for us to received our drinks ordered, my grandson got his breakfast ages before we got ours s he was finished before any of us had started, we had requested a second croissant that never arrived, there was broken glass on the floor near our table, very dangerious, I had to find someone to request our bill as we had waited for 10minutes and no one had been in the area where we were seated namely outside, so a little disappointed with the experience, also seeing as this was a special start to my birthday celebrations, so not a good start
Fantastic food, service and location at reasonable prices. Perfect location right on the river Thames. Seating inside or outside. Highly recommended for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Great quality food.
Three of us had a set menu lunch at Cotes yesterday. The food was first class and although extremely busy we received our food without having to wait too long. The waiters and waitresses worked very hard and always had a smile. Thoroughly recommend this restaurant and I use this venue frequently.
Always love Cote. All the restaurants have the same high standards, good food, reasonable prices, great staff. What else can I say? Lovely lovely lovely.
When we arrived my request for a window table (as this was a special occasion) had been noted and we had a lovely table view. The staff were very helpful, nothing to much trouble. The food was amazing and we were not rushed at any time. Our guests really enjoyed their first visit and I am sure like us, they will return. Many thanks to one and all.
Table of 5 booked, ready on arrival. Great setting with window position overlooking the river. Excellent food - fresh and hot. Outstanding friendly and professional service.
great as always, good quality reasonable price and location is ideal. sometimes a little noisy depending on where you are sitting, looking forward to next visit
We had a perfect table over looking the river but not in the direct sunlight - ideal. The Service was excellent, not too pushy and allowing plenty of time - but the food came without delay once ordered. The Fish Stew was as always a really good choice and my friends tuna salad delicious. We will certainly be returning
There was a very good range of items on the menu, and we all had a very pleasant meal. The service was good too, and we were seated and served quite quickly.
Have been several times and airways found the food to be very good in a great location but the only thing that lets them down is slow service
Really good service. They had their 10 year anniversary lunch on offer which was an added bonus. Staff were friendly and quick to bring each course
Great setting lovely food good service. We visited for the first time recommended by my son ,We will definitely recommend to friends and will make it our regular local restaurant from now on
Food was fine but we had. Very long wait between starters and main and the service was inattentive. When we drew attention the long wait the food was chased up but no apologies made
Food very good and very well priced - course lunch menu for £12.95. Initial service good but becam slower and we could not attract attention for 15 mins in order to ask for the bill
We have always enjoyed our visits here, usually for a pre/post theatre dinner. The service is excellent and so is the ambience. We had yet another enjoyable meal on Thursday, our fourth visit this year.
Lovely food , the service was good and was very reasonable with prices we had a table overlooking the river Thames which was also lovely
Great breakfast looking across the Thames to Windsor Castle. We really appreciated having a good table waiting for us when we arrived. Sadly, no Black Pudding with the French Breakfast, but the replacement sauasage made up for it.
Excellent! The staff were very helpful and the breakfasts for 6 adults (including a vegetarian) and 2 children were delicious. The setting, overlooking the river was delightful.
Great view. Attentive, efficient and speedy service despite a busy night. Food to the usual high Cote standards per expectations. Overall a very enjoyable experience.
Once I was directed to my seat I was left for 25 minutes before checked on or asked whether I'd like to order- not impressed
This place is such a great value for money. Great and happy staff and good prices for high standard food. My place to have lunch or dinner every 2 months
We had we wait an hour and a half before receiving our main. No one wanted to bring out bill over so we could have easily just walked out. Instead we had to go and try to find someone to pay our bill too! All together we were there for 2 and a half hours, just for a lunch!
Staff attentive and service good. Menu had several veggie options and my companions enjoyed their food. I found the spinach and mushroom pancakes very bland though. Wine could have been colder but overall would go again.
Good, friendly service, nice table overlooking the river as requested. Tasty hot meal and good value. Good menu selection too. Delicious capacchino but a little smaller than perhaps I had expected.
Fantastic location by the Thames with outside seating. The food is predictably good with consistently good quality ingredients. Charming service from well trained staff and great prices
Very good service! Couldn't fault the staff or the food. Beautiful setting over looking the river which added to an amazing evening. Would definitely go back and visit again.
Service was helpful and friendly and fairly quick.. My grandson enjoyed his meal especially the steak. My only criticism was that the potatoes were rather hard and could have been cooked a little bit longer. Will certainly go back again.
The staff were extremely friendly and attentive. Combination of excellent service and a great atmosphere plus good food make Cote a 'must' when we're in Windsor!
I have been to several Cote Brasserie's but I'm afraid the service here was really poor. 45 minutes to get five garlic bread's to the table is unacceptable..... The waitress was perfectly charming and kept apologising but still I'm afraid that I can't give better than a 3. The food was fine, not very special. And the chips portions were very mean!! A real shame as it was a Birthday Party. You can do better.....
Delicious soups de poissons with accompiment, lovely pork belly with delicate crackling and GF family member very well looked after with wide menu choices. Fantastic.
Food was wonderful with lovely wine. Excellent service. We had a table next to an open window overlooking the Thames, it fealt like being on holiday!
I have been to COTE Windsor a number of times and as usual the service and food has been of a high standard. Staff have always been attentive and available. I have eaten in a number of COTE restaurants including Cobham, Guildford and Wimbledon Village which have all been to the same high standard and would highly recommend a visit.
Lovely food, great service, fantastic location for my son's birthday. Downside - I was there with my children and we were seated downstairs where there was a large party of boisterous people who were so loud we struggled to hear each other talk. Asked to be moved but no other tables of 5 available on the Tuesday evening.
Excellent lunch, restaurant in a great position by the Thames next to Etonian Bridge. Great choice on the set menu and very attentive service. Will definitely visit again.
Splendid location, splendid staff, splendid food - what more could one ask - This is undoubtedly one of the best restaurant experiences one could possibly wish for and at a most competitive price - well done
This was an enchanting experience - on a warm sunny day overlooking the river, with a gentle breeze through the open windows. Food, drink and service all extremely good - we thoroughly enjoyed our lunch.
Very enjoyable experience, good food good service and very friendly staff. Would definitely recommend a visit especially if you take in the location next to the river over looking the castle.
Excellent service, lovely food and great location. Would definitely recommend. Customer service at reception was superb, we were shown to our table and our waiter was extremely attentive.
Cotes is in a Lovely location on the river in Windsor. The food is great and plentiful, and the staff are very nice and friendly. Especially enjoyable On a summers evening with good friends
Superb setting on the river. Good service. Try to avoid peak times as it can get busy. The inside seats that overlook the river are particularly nice when they open all the sliding windows.
The service was slow. The beer and wine were at room temperature until we asked for them to be replaced. The food though was very good.
We have mostly very good experience. Good food and a nice lunch menu. Friendly and good service. Good seating both inside and outside by the River Thames
Great service and amazing food, never disappoints. I often come here and it's always busy yet that never ruins the experience. The location is beautiful and easy to find.
Food was very nice and the location is perfect. Let down a bit by the staff who took plates away before food had even been finished and rushed the entire meal. Witnessed a woman pick up something off her plate and was in the middle of eating it while someone took her plate away. Overall would go back but not during a busy time as you get rushed
The nice lady serving us was excellent! She made the experience very pleasant and we are sure to return. Staff were helpful. Very kid friendly!
It was excellent service and a lovely meal. The restaurant helped my son celebrate his birthday in great style. I highly recommend the restaurant for a special event.
