Our waiter didn’t wait for the full drinks order, then was incredibly negative when we asked him to take the rest of the order. He also failed to get our order correct and I had to wait an additional 15 mins for my main. No apology and no offer for compensation.

Very prompt and efficient service. Food excellent and very tasty. Restaurant clean and tidy, although the hard surfaces do lend to it being rather noisy, which may be a problem for those with hearing difficulties.

Excellent set menu = the coq au vin was superb - well done chef - and an efficient service BUT there was a noisy environment.

Very pretty glass conservatory overlooking the Thames and castle. Friendly, well informed staff. They ev n took the price of olives off our bill because my partner didn't like the black ones. Totally unnecessary but lovely!

Lovely location by the river and quirky layout gives the restaurant a nice feel - less like a chain. Food was pretty quick, reasonably priced and decent quality. Friendly and efficient staff.

Good service and tasty food. Would recommend Cotes Windsor as always a good experience. Specials usually good but could do with changing up the main menu occasionally as always the same items.

Went to Cote Brasserie, Windsor on 11th Oct to celebrate my Mums 92nd Birthday with family. We live all over the country so nice to be together. Service was very good, food excellent and the staff even brought Mums cake in and sang to her. We ordered ice cream to go with the cake so the restaurant didn’t lose out. I made a comment when I booked that Mum was a bit immobile so could we sit in the top restaurant. Someone kindly phoned to say if she was in a wheelchair they had a disabled entrance at the back of the restaurant so she would also be near the toilets. I thought this was a very nice gesture. Only reason for marking down a bit was that we booked for 6.45 and one of the staff said if we weren’t all there by 7 then we couldn’t order from the early menu. As it happened we all ordered off the ordinary menu but nice greeting!!!

A superb evening! The manager and his team organised a lovely celebration dinner for some celebrity friends. Terrific food, wine and desert topped off by oustanding service. Highly recommend this Cote location.

Lovely restaurant and super location; don't be taken in by the address on the website though as it says High Street Windsor and its actually Eton. Went on a Sunday lunch time and it was busy but staff were very welcoming and attentive. Large menu and there is a separate vegetarian menu but you do have to ask for it. Food was very tasty. Middle for diddle price wise. Table for two were between the windows so no great view but restaurant is bright enough.

Gorgeous views over the river and castle. The food is top notch. If you turn up on the day, I'm afraid you can't expect to get a table. Book at least a couple of days in advance.

I’ve been to this restaurant before and I found the service to be a really good experience. My details had been stored on their system so the staff know who I am when I book. A table by the window next to river is a must, great views of the castle.

The quality of the food was very good as was the service, just one small weakness, waiters should be allowed to enter lunch orders from 11.45 a.m. onwards ant not just from 12 noon.

Amazing location and friendly staff however both my starter and main were cold. The food seems to come from the kitchen downstairs by a porter to the restaurant area where the porter waits for the waiter to be available to put it on your table. No wonder it’s cold!

We had a lovely meal and good service from a friendly waiter. Our only complaint was our table for two was very near to another table for two who had loud voices! I had booked a week before and had hoped for a window table overlooking the river. Otherwise, we enjoyed our meal and are looking forwards to our next visit.

Is your apple crumble made with fresh English apples or do the apples come out of a tin? They are very watery and tasteless. Please reply. Cicely Taylor

Premises: very pleasant reception, promptly escorted to our table in pleasant and clean surroundings. Nice crisp linen napkin and bright cutlery Food; a good selection of dishes including and an excellent vegetarian menu, all made from superb quality ingredients well presented on attractive china ware, all 3 meals were deemed very tasty and of sensibly sized portions. Complementary stone bottles of water were a nice touch. Wine: also a relatively small selection we chose a medium dry white which was presented in a floor standing ice bucket and well chilled. Priced at £16.00 a bottle the quality was excellent thus good value. Service: the waiters were extremely competent and helpful and discreetly went about their work. An all round enjoyable dining experience, highly recommended this was my first visit to Cote Brasserie; would I return at a future date?... you bet, would I recommend the establishment?... certainly would.

As always at cote the food was first class and the service beyond the call of duty. We were a party of four, all 'd'un age certain' and with differing requirements, very well handled by the staff on duty. Congratulations to all, and the food wasn't bad either!

Lovely venue on the bridge leading into Eton, and overlooking the Thames. Ideal for a meal before going to the Theatre, plus the fact that you get a free Kir Royale on showing your Theatre tickets. The meals, as lalways were first class, as was the service. Returned there after the show to have more coffees while waiting for our train. Will return.

Food was good but not great, fillet steak was barely seasoned. Service was poor and they add 12.5% service charge to the bill (but optional). Nice location and decor.

Cote never lets us down on food or service. Our only disappointment is the noise level - we tend to avoid the busiest days as it limits conversation considerably!

As with all cote brasseries, staff and food excellent. Windsor has a special location across the river from the wonderful castle. The creme caramel is the most wonderful desert ever prepared and the special lamb rump was to die for.

Service was excellent and the food was very good. One small complaint was that my prawn starter had some rather woody stalks of parsley! Very nice white wine, Sauvignon blanc, and a lovely dessert wine.

Food and service good as usual but noise unbearable with people shouting and cackling. We were going to have desert but left early as we couldn't hear ourselves speak. It would be a great idea if Cote restaurants had a few quiet tables available for people that would like to have an easy conversation over dinner.

My wife & I visited Côte Brasserie - Windsor and had a superb meal. Even better, we were given a complimentary bottle of wine. We had three courses and the pace of the meal was perfect. Service from the waiter/waitress was excellent. An observation is that Cote' is a modern decorated restaurant in the French style and the noise level from the guests talking can get quite loud as there are no soft furnishings and the wooden floors have no sound absorbing affect . Having said this it is no different in this respect from most eating places. What is different is the superb eating pleasure and we will continue to visit regularly.

We were thoroughly happy and impressed with our experience at Cote Windor/Eton riverside. The service was superb, the set lunch menu very reasonably-priced, great options and absolutely delicious. We were given a lovely table with plenty of sun and a lovely view of the river. Absolutely loved it, thank you very much and we will be back.
