I requested a table well in advance by the window behind were they check you in as we didn't want to sit on the tables were you are so near to another couple. That didn't happen! The response was I have a full restaurant tonight. I can't fault my main course or the waiters however my dessert wasn't great and without me asking he took it off the bill. We do like going to coate my only criticism is the tables are too close together and when it's busy it's impossible to get in the door because of we're the check in desk is.
Cotes in Windsor was well coming & friendly & a very reasonable price, very nice staff and a great view of the Thames &castle definitely worth a visit
The food is consistently good. Slight fail on the service as front of house forgot what she was there for. Oops. Table service was flawless.
It was very noisy - lots of banging and crashing from the coffee machine and crockery. The tuna steak was perfectly cooked, but cheeses were bland and disappointing.
Setting wonderful food superb staff very attentive overall experience wonderful would definitely recommend this restaurant to Friends and family. The menu is very extensive so something for everyone.
Lovely venue with fine views of the Thames and Windsor Castle. Friendly and helpful staff with sensibly priced and tasty food. What more could one ask? Our party of four all enjoyed their meals and left feeling we had had an excellent lunch.
Lovely location overlooking the river. The weather was warm and therefore the restaurant was very busy, nonetheless we were still made to feel welcome and the service was good.
Excellent meal, excellent service. Will certainly return for more in the future. Hopefully our favourites will stay on the menu for the foreseeable future. Stay Lucky.
Food is delicious and the service is fantastic. Stunning surroundings especially if your lucky enough to get seated by the river side windows. Only reason I didn’t give 5 stars, the drinks are so expensive. Food menu is very reasonable, but the wines spirits and beers are a tad over priced. Other wise it’s a very nice restaurant
Enjoyed our meal very much. Just one point three of us had mussels as a starter and had to order bread on the side. I feel that with them being in a lovely sauce the bread should come with the dish as standard and not an extra. Thanks
Great as ever really enjoyed it. Had a lovely table with view, plenty of attention from the staff. There for ages and not rushed, perfect.
Food was superb. Staff friendly and helpful had a disabled guest with us and they sorted an appropriate table out for us with no fuss
The location was lovely, but I felt that the staff were slow to seat people at the door even though there was loads of available space. Thankfully I had booked so got seated very quickly. A larger brunch menu would be nice, more options for those not a fan of eggs or fish but want something bigger than the light bites.
I took colleagues out for a mid-week meal - the atmosphere and dining experience was second to none! I will definitely be recommending to friends and family!!
Great location in Windsor right next to river. Food was average. Rather slow to get seeted even though pre booked. Need more staff at door when busy.
Usual excellent standard, Had the Prestige lunch very good. Usual excellent standard, Had the Prestige lunch very good. Usual excellent standard, Had the Prestige lunch very good.
Excellent food and service. I took the 2 course set menu for £11.95 which was excellent value and delicious. Can highly recommend the Seabream and dauphinois potatoes.
The whole experience was excellent. Good food with excellent, but not too intrusive, service. To cap it off the restaurant is situated in a great location - our table had great views of the river Thames. We will be returning.
Enjoyed our food from the all day 2/3 course menu. Nice and hot which I feel is important. The view is beautiful. Will be returning again soon.
Great food and a lovely setting. Only downside was that they had run out of couple of things on the menu that I would have ordered.
Very friendly staff, did not rush us as we were talking too much, food was good as always and we enjoyed our free glass of Kier Royal. Will be back again next month.
the staff were really friendly ,both on the phone and in the restaurant, the food was lovely.the champagne was great and they made our evening very enjoyable.thank you
Love this place. Consistently good food, service and prices. Love the new premium menu as it gives me more choices having exhausted the other fixed price menu
We had a wonderful time sitting by the window. The waiter was very busy during the Friday rush but managed to attend to us whenever we needed him with water during the April hot weather. So thank you for the lovely food on our 31 years wedding anniversary lunch.
Cote at Windsor was excellent again as usual this evening. I usually stick to the pre-theatre menu, but I tried the brioche bread & butter pudding with vanilla ice-cream for dessert this time and was not disappointed!
Lovely setting, Friendly and helpful staff Roast pork was fatty but okish I appreciated the kind gesture of not having to pay for a glass of wine to compensate for the disappointing lunch ie the pork
Excellent service, it was our wedding anniversary and we asked not to be rushed and the waitress ensured this happened. As always the food was of superb quality, piping hot. Cote is our favourite restaurant chain
Excellent service and fabulous food. Staff very attentive and food served hot and great choice on set price menu. The locaton is great being on the river too.
This was a second trip to Cote in Windsor, both times found it to be a friendly and pleasing place to eat, the river and castle in the background is an added bonus. The food is excellent and the so is the staff. I will definitely book to eat here on my next visit to Windsor.
We had a fantastic brunch overlooking the river. Service was great (thank you David) and unhurried, a really enjoyable experience and good value for money.
A beautiful setting of the Brasserie in Windsor overlooking the river. We felt treated with respect (rather unusual today!) and in a friendly manner. Good lunch menu.
Great spot on the river , good food. Service was very friendly but the food took to long to arrive. That was the only blemish.
We arrived at 11.50. Given the breakfast menu. Had to ask for the lunch menu. Ordered at 11.55. Main Food took 40 mins to arrive - we had ordered break and olives. Olives took 30 mins to arrive. The food also came out all together with 3 other tables all of which arrived well after us. What a shame. Food was nice when it came.
I have been to Cotes many times with friends without problem. However, on this occasion the food was very below standard and unacceptable. The Manager was very obliging having heard our complaints and he did reduce the bill. This was a good gesture, but, the whole lunch was spoiled. Also, in my opinion the young waiter definitely should have received more training in respect of certain dishes being served and how not to stretch across guests as accidents could easily occur as a result!!
I was very happy with the service staff were friendly and helpful and food was amazing. Would defiantly re-visit and recommend to friends and family.
Staff were very good ,however menu was very limited and several dishes were off ,so both myself and my wife had to change our order twice .I eventually ended up with fish Parmentier which unfortunately was extremely over salted ,and I am still drinking loads of water today 12 hours later ,the onion soup was good but the bread was over toasted .
The service was slow. Waitress was not checking on us. They brought the wrong order and she also dropped a few mussels in my wife's hand bag. I guess that it was a bad day for the waitress.... Food was excellent though, as usual.
1hour 10 min for 2courses to be served. I am a serial visitor to Cote . This was a very disappointing experience. Also poor portion control my duck looked like it died of male nutrition
After an initial misunderstanding everything was resolved and we left as delighted customers. As a very regular customer of Cote Windsor the service is excellent.
Very well trained staff perfect manners and made us feel very welcome oh and the food was really good too. Love the new menu. Excellent
Excellant food at a very reasonable price with a special service and lovely views of the river. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.
excellent table overlooking the water. Great service - food was lovely too. All in all - great time had by us all. Thank you very much.
A very enjoyable experience and a wonderful view of the river from our table. Staff were efficient and friendly. Food was top class. Enjoyed it all.
Lovely setting and food only spoiled by a noisy location by the bar. Staff banging the bar top and constantly dropping cutlery behind us. 😏
Fabulous food in a fabulous atmosphere with delightful staff. Excellent service and a perfect early supper before going to the theatre. Highly recommend Côte Windsor.
Outstanding value: great food, good service and a million-dollar location on the river, with a view to die for. Always delivers, and leaves a smile on our face.
Service and food were very good; only quibble is that the downstairs barista seems to think a double espresso just has twice as much water in a single shot!
The restaurant was not very clean, all of our chairs were covered in crumbs from the previous customers. The staff were preoccupied with very slow attendance to take our order.
This restaurant not only sells wonderful food at very reasonable prices with excellent service but also offers beautiful views across the River Thames towards Windsor Castle. You can eat al fresco when the weather is good which is an added bonus. This is one of my favourite restaurants.
