I booked the table as it was our aniversary. The girl that showed us to the table (position had a perfect view of the river which is what i had requested) remembered that it was out anniversary and congratulated us which was much appreciated. From there, both our waiter and the food was top notch! Very very impressed!
We really enjoyed the dinner on the terrace near the river. Food was great as usual and prompt service helped to feel welcomed. Would recommend this place.
The service was excellent. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. The food was delicious and very reasonable in price. We could not have asked for a better venue - on the river with a view of Windsor castle. Everyone in my group enjoyed the experience. I would definitely come again and recommend to others.
Food was good as usual but one waiter spoilt our experience. I told the manager and have written to cote telling them what happened. I also did not pay service charge. What a Shea e as I love cote but it was spoilt by one miserable waiter.
Great service and beautiful surroundings. We were lucky enough to have a riverside table on the hottest day of the year and spent a pleasant evening eating excellent food and drinking a refreshing rose. The service was fast and efficient and all the staff were friendly and helpful. We will be back very soon!
Always a pleasure to eat at Cote, Windsor. Always a very warm welcome, and the ambience of the place is lovely. Looking forward to my next visit later this week.
Excellent meal again in lovely surroundings overlooking the River Thames. Very friendly staff and good service. This is our favourite Cote restaurant and is easily accessible.
Was a nice view but we were kept waiting for our food, when it did eventually arrive it wasn't up to standard,we complained & recieved another dish that was better, were told drinks were free as an apology but we're still charged for them
We arrived a little earlier than our reservation but we only had to wait a minute to be seated. Lovely location, very attentive service and excellent food. We’ll definitely go back. Very good eating experience and a place to be recommended!
Superb location, great menu and good service. Always enjoy eating at Cote Windsor/Eton. Lots of atmosphere and superb views across the River. Food is very good too.
The facilities were dirty. Dirty knapkin, wine glasses, eating area and toilets. Food was good but not wasnt hot. The location and scenery was the best bit. Just lacked the wow factor. Could do better
Great food service very slow noone came to take any orders had to get up and ask for a waiter 4 times. They need more staff. Been before and it was excellent service.
I am sad to say that the Cote Windsor is probably one of the worst! I frequently eat in Cote , mainly in London Hays galleria and covent garden along with Richmond, they are pretty good most of the time considering how busy they are. I actually live in Windsor so this is my local restaurant, I have eaten there many times in fact much more than all of the others combined, unfortunately I have had more disappointing meals in there than I care to remember last week was exactly the same, starter was ok but the main course which was obviously cooked at the same time as the starter had been kept warm for far too long, the gratin Dauphinois was dry, the veg were the same, i ordered a second glass of wine to go with the meal which never arrived! but was on the bill although the waiter did remove it once I pointed it out along with the service charge, apart from this the waiter was very good. I find it
We arrived over 30 minutes late owing to train problems at Richmond but we had forewarned Cote. The weather was perfect so Cote was packed when we arrived and we had to wait for a table. After a few minutes we were taken to a table and served reasonably quickly. The food was delicious as always and the staff polite and doing their best in the crowded circumstances.
unfortunately we didn't have a good evening here this time. waitress didn't make us feel very welcome. had to ask for side plates and cutlery. 3 portions of carrots sent back as they were cold. 1 steak sent back as not even cooked! however the manager was fantastic and gave us a discount and a bottle of champagne as it was my birthday. we eat at various cotes and this would not put us off returning. it was just a bad night i think.
great food and service. we asked for the pavilion room and had a table over looking the Thames. lovely evening
Great food and a great location. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Cote is such a reliable experience no matter where you go and Windsor is no exception.
A really great place for dinner. We had a table looking out over the Thames towards the castle and views. We ordered from the 2 course menu where there is a lot of choice. The food is very good, well presented and very tasty. A good selection of wines. Value for money is very good as all in all the service is spot on, not rushed, with as I have said a good menu selection. Well recommended.
We had a very enjoyable evening very attentive service and very nice food. The menu was varied and reasonably priced. We will return very soon.
Toilets on the lower floor very small and cramped and could be an issue for some people. May be worth looking to if you could re-locate or make them bigger! The service and the food was great, will return soon!
Some key dishes are always not available therefore I think management need to look at this and adjust their orders hence the score. It can be really annoying. The place is very busy and the staff work hard, food good.
food good, service good, it was very busy as usual so advise booking. nice choice of wines available, sometimes noisy when its busy, nice location. good choice of wines.
Always great. Manager really helpful. Food tasty across whole menu. Complimentary water and lovely ambience. The vews to the castle are sublime. My favourite restaurant in Windsor.
We enjoyed very good food, good wine, a good deal with free wine offer and a lovely location overlooking river Thames and Windsor Castle on a warm evening.
food good, service good, it was very busy as usual so advise booking. nice choice of wines available, sometimes noisy when its busy, nice location. Need to order more food as items always run out
It was very noisy where we were seated downstairs, so it was difficult to have a conversation. A surprise birthday dessert cake that I had requested for my friend didn't materialise which was disappointing. Having said that, it was a really great menu, and the food was really fabulous - as ever! So will definitely be back :o)
Beatifull venue, sat down on the lower balcony at the riverside looking up at the castle. Food was of the standard we have come to expect at any of the Cote restaurants. In the summer we alway book in advance. Thanks to the staff as always.
Food always good - a shame, having booked 4 weeks ago and requested a window table that we didn’t get one. Not their fault but restaurant very noisy
Food, staff and venue were very good. We all enjoyed our lunch and appreciated being seated with a view of the river. The management team from the front desk through to the table were also very efficient.
One of the best views from a restaurant that we know, and particularly good options on the set menu and the prestige menu this month! Very good service as usual. We will be back!
The staff was very nice to us during our visit. We have many allergies and we had a wide variety of choices. Good for people with Celiacs.
Very good service my daughter and granddaughter regaly visit you reasteraunt in Cardiff and London so we we’re in Windsor for the Garter ceremony so they recommend you
No toilet paper in ladies even after I pointed it out,2mains not available, side dish came out just as we were finishing our mains even after we asked for it a few times,no port available with the cheese. Service was good. Not value for money this time, didn't even say for coffee just wanted to go home
Great food, very busy for a Sunday lunch, little slow taking initial order but after that great service and food and very apologetic thereafter, highly recommend
We had a table booked for 8.30pm but had to wait until 8.55pm for a table to become free. They offered us a complimentary Kir Royale. when the food came only 2 dinners came out and we then had to wait nearly 10 minutes for the other 2 dishes to come, inthe meantime our friends has eaten theirs before ours arrived. when we complained they did take a large percentage off our bill.
Second time I have eaten at the Cote Windsor and as the first time, everything was very good. Good menu, great food and very good service. would definitely recommend a visit.
Super breakfast after the Windsor Triathalon. Efficient, friendly service and a nice table. Food, as always, delicious. I can highly recommend breakfast - a super weekend treat.
Very good service and the food was good but not as good as we have previously experienced. We will go again as we do like eating at Cote.
Over all it was just average. Nothing to rave about. Doesn't represent good value. Nice setting. Staff polite and attentive. Score would have been less if it wasn't for staff. If food alone would have given a 3
Ordered fruit yoghurt but it never came. Poached eggs over cooked and hard yolk. Salmon & scrambled egg excellent as we're fruit, French toast & maple syrup. Tea, coffee very good. Great location & view. Relaxed & unrushed.
Lovely seat with river view very nice food. Good unobtrusive service. Didn't feel rushed. Lovely setting and experience. Food was very nice, well presented and served.
Cote Brasserie is one of our favourite restaurants and it didn't disappoint us, we had a spectacular view on the River Thames with Windsor Castle in the background. Lovely Father's Day treat would recommend to anyone, we do take for granted our treasures in this country.
We had an overall good experience on Father's Day. Food was very good, service was friendly but a little slow - but as we might expect on a busy Father's day. Cote Windsor has a lovely setting on the riverside - we chose to sit inside but had views of the river and enjoyed the breeze through the open doors.
Great food, great atmosphere. Waitress could have been better but overall very nice! Would be nice to see more vegetarian dishes and non alcoholic cocktails!
the view was great, the food was the usual high standard and the service was first class. This is a must for a nice lunch and wine overlooking the Thames.
Sadly both our guests asked that the Hollandaise sauce be served separately from the Eggs Florentine, and it was not. Otherwise the usual excellent meal, with no pressure to leave our table .
Friendly staff throughout the meal, lovely food and quick service. However, the creamed spinach was extremely watery and did not taste pleasant and there was quite a wait to get into the restaurant. We received complementary water, which was nice, but we had empty glasses for a long time and were never asked for second drinks. All in all, a nice round 6.
An excellent meal in pleasant surroundings with efficient and friendly staff that made a lunch date with friends most enjoyable, to be repeated again soonest.
Excellent time had at Cote, very good food, great service and a beautiful spot by the river . Only downside was very noisy with some loud diners at adjoining tables .
Fantastic food and service. As always. And we had such a lovely waitress who made the whole night very special. She was so thoughtful and considerate.
