Côte Windsor Restaurant

Windsor Cotes is my local and the most visited. In all the other ones visited the meal is always very good and enjoyed by all.

Another Cotes Breakfast - brilliant as ever and very good value for money always a favourite and a regular choice when we dine at Cotes

Warm welcome on arrival. Could have been a bit faster in coming to take drinks order. Apart from that the meal was very tasty and came promptly and the waiter was very pleasant.

Did not enjoy because the table was next to 4 women who were really loud. Waiter was nice. Food was good. Ambience zero. Not enjoyable

Another great meal and you never seem to disappoint. they only reason I don't give is a 6 is the toilets, they are sooooo small and I am not big

Excellent lunch and great value set lunch menu. Good efficient service by friendly staff. Lovely view of the river too. Would recommend and we will return.

Perfectly sited on the Eton side of the bridge, overlooking the river, and with a relaxed but attentive staff. Food reliable as in all branches of this chain, and well priced.

Delightful setting and atmosphere with cheerful young staff. Weather permitting fine terrace overlooking river and castle. Better castle views from upper rooms. Standard Cote menu but this is always well thought out and very reasonable.

We were celebrating a retirement as a party of 14. Food was good but some peoples food did not come out at the same time

The complimentary cocktail was great, the starters were good and the mains slightly over seasoned with pepper. Waited 15 minutes before initial order taken. Table for two slightly cramped and I was facing another table and not my partner. The staff were attentive and polite. Will visit again.

Table booked for 7.30 and the restaurant was busy but the service was excellent and so was the food! Would definitely recommend this Cote. The staff are brilliant

Great location friendly staff good food we were able to take our dog and sit outside so very happy would definitely visit again. Highly recommended.

I had booked a table for lunch for 2 people at 13.00. I arrived at about 12.50 and was shown to my table upstairs. I had anticipated that my friend's train might be a little late, so I was not too concerned that she had not arrived by 13.10. However, I was a little anxious by 13.15 and I called her, to discover that she had arrived just before 13.00 and had been taken to a table in another section of the restaurant even though she confirmed my name with the server. I have never had this situation before and so unfortunately my experience at Cote Windsor did not get off to a good start. I felt that the restaurant seemed a little dirty. The sofa at the table where I was first seated was covered with crumbs and the floor area at the second table downstairs did not look that clean. I have eaten at Cote in Hays Galleria, London, on many occasions and have always enjoyed the food there. My lunch today was nowhere near as good. Service, apart from the initial experience, was friendly and helpful.

Staff very friendly and went out of their way to assist my father who was on crutches. As always the breakfast was of a high standard,

Only disappointment was that they smothered the lemon tart with cream rather than put it on the side. Fast service, good food and table outside on the terrace.

The restaurant seating was great for eight people and the food was lovely, thank you for making my mother’s 88th Birthday so special. We will be back.

Nobody on front desk when we arrived. Waiting staff ignored us. Chicken overcooked and chips undercooked. Smell of drains / river at our table. Disappointed overall

Our steaks arrived cold and had to be sent back which left the 3rd member of our party eating alone and he was finished eating by the time our steaks arrived back! We were disappointed by this as he was visiting from New York. We have eaten at your premises for several years but I have to say that our last 2 visits have been substandard both in quality of food and service. We waited 15 mins for our bill and when it didn’t arrive we left and paid in the way out! I think that given our last 2 experiences we won’t be back.

Very poor service, not nice food.25 min waiting for drinks.. food arrived on time, but steak was not nice, one side undercooked, other side overcooked.. they add 12% service charge to your bill, you have to pay even if it's bad service... Disappointed.

The restaurant didn’t have a clue that I had made a reservation. It was very embarrassing because they refused to seat my friend, who had arrived at the restaurant earlier than me.

Beautiful venue with views of the river and Windsor Castle. Great food, I can recommend the 'Pork Belly' and the excellent service we received. With a complimentary Gin and Elderflower Tonic what's not to like.

Good location . We sat close to the river with a view for the castle. Beautiful! The food was lovely. It's worth a visit. .

I’d booked a table for two online for my husband’s birthday. When I realised I’d omitted to request an outdoor table I rang up and the girl who answered was most helpful and said she would see what she could do and made a note of the fact that it was his birthday. When we arrived the table was waiting and in a perfect location overlooking the river. We were offered two glasses of Kia Royale on the house as it was his birthday which did add an extra sparkle to the evening . Service was excellent and the food delicious, though we thought the portion sizes of the main course were on the small side. I’d ordered the lamb and got two pieces of lamb which were very tasty if not quite enough and my husband ordered duck confit & needed to order chips as an extra otherwise he would have been left hungry! Choices and prices of wine were good and our waitress was excellent. We had a lovely warm balmy evening so thoroughly enjoyed our ideal position overlooking the river.

Amazing river view, nice staff and very good food, as usual. Return to Cote again and again because it's so consistently great. Ask for a table with a view!

A really lovey setting, good food and service. I would certainly visit again, much better than other Cote’s I’ve visited and much larger, credit to the staff.

We had a superb table next to open doors overlooking the river, so felt cool even on sweltering Staff very attentive and food was fine.

Good service - helpful staff. Had a very enjoyable lunch. Toilet facilities not the best and need improvement & updating. I struggled to get in the cuticle and I’m not large

Lovely breakfast - good service and good menu choices. Sat with a lovely view of the river and castle.

Wonderful breakfast out in the conservatory overlooking the river with friendly helpful staff. I would definitely recommend to go there for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Great as always - good food, great service. My only minor complaint was the choice on the set menu. I found the choice limited for someone who isn't a big adventurer and doesn't eat fish.

The service is always very good. The staff and food is always lovely. Menu both for food and wine is excellent. The surrounding and ambiance is very pleasing.

Great meal in a great setting overlooking the River Thames on there outside terrace. Staff were very attentive, without being too pushy and we had a lovely evening on a super evening weatherwise. Booked online less than 24 hours before we went, no problems. Will definitely return.

Cote is Always good value for money and suits many tastes however no vegan options on menu really Windsor Eton bridge is a particularly good location

We all had a wonderful time. A lovely table was reserved for us and the staff were very attentive even though the restaurant was to full capacity. Food was amazing! Definitely coming back again soon.

On Sunday, had a really great breakfast with friends at Cot in Eton. Definitely, the best value breakfast in Windsor with the best views of the river and Windsor Castle.

Lovely location on river Thames, staff very friendly and helpful but not over bearing. We had the set menu which had a good selection and was very reasonably priced. Will definitely return

We asked for a quiet table and got what the waiter thought would be best. It was and the whole experience turned out to be fabulous. Great food. Great service. Great price too. Many thanks

The staff is awesome but let down by a less than average breakfast . Would rather go to costa next time as the quality is higher

Food Good, Service good but when you run out of your signature dish something is amiss. Wish the main course would include some vegetables and not just a pinch of green stuff.

As a regular visitor to Cote (various branches) i was a bit disappointed with the reception we received at Cote Windsor. On arrival for our 12.30 reservation, the maitre d was rather harrassed - (there was no one at the front door so we had just walked straight in looking for the person who we were meeting, she had texted to say she was already at the table), he asked us to go back to the front door to wait to be seated. We managed to find our friend, who had been sitting directly behind him! It took some time for anyone to approach our table even though it was right by the service area. We also didn't receive the complimentary drinks that were advertised on the website, the waitress did not seem to know what I was referring to?! But once the food arrived it was business as usual - the expected standard of food and service.

Always a great experience . I Have been many times and food and service always great. Lovely location by the river . Would highly recommend
