The restaurant is in a lovely location and the staff were very attentive. Good food but they did run out of a sparkling wine which has happened to a friend of mine before which is not really acceptable.
Seemed rather empty for a Saturday evening. Is Cote struggling? Food and service were good. Lovely location on Windsor bridge. Good WiFi. Would go again.
Excellent staff. Excellent food. I would definitely come back to this restaurant. Value for money. Clean toilets. What more can I say about this place, I’m coming back here
This place is simply exquizet , the setting is perfect on the water , and the food is lovely you wouldn’t be dissapointed don’t hesitate to try this place
Everyone wants a window table, we had one only to find out meal was continually interrupted by staff pushing pass out table and guest serving food to others, too cramped
Lovely setting on the river. Food was really tasty.and served promptly. Our Waitress was friendly but very professional, attentive without being in our faces. We’ve been to the Marlow restaurant too but prefer this as setting by the river.
Another lovely meal at this consistently good and well run Cote. Excellent service too. Only complaint, no loo roll in the ladies toilet. Someone should check the facilities on a regular basis. Otherwise, a very pleasant afternoon in a great setting.
Good service, lovely food and great view. What’s not to like? Would definitely go again in the near future. We all enjoyed it very much.
I appreciated the help from your staff in staging our joint 59th anniversary. We have visited many times but this was the most disappointing. I had a crab starter which did NOT taste of crab at all because there were too many other ingredients included. We ordered 3 rib eye steaks, 2 of which were very chewy and left unfinished, my fries were at best only warm and soon went to cold? Not your best effort for us!!
Have been to Cote at Windsor several times and also other branches of Cote. Service always very good, otherwise I wouldn't still keep coming. However on this occasion the restaurant very busy due to holiday time and service rather slower than usual but we did have a large group which didn't help. Food excellent however although one of our party ordered soup but apparently this was off the menu which was rather surprising given it was lunchtime.
Such a poor excuse three days after the Bank holiday to say that 7 choices were not available from the menus due to having been busy. General service not good we had to get them to clear our table and order the main courses but we were still late getting to the theatre. Very disappointing.
We had a excellent meal and the service was excellent every time we go there the food is always of good quality keep up the good work
Friendly and efficient staf. Interesting and good choice of food, well presented. Relaxed atmosphere. Clean surroundings with nice views towards Windsor Castle and over the river Thames, whiich is very busy with pleasure boats.
Lovely restaurant overlooking the river. The special lunch menu was very good value for £13.95 for 3 courses. The service was excellent. My only disappointment was the ladies toilets which were so tiny that you could hardly open the door to the cubicles.
Great value menus, lots of choice, authentic French cooking. Service is polite and good. One of our party was delayed but it was not a problem and we were not rushed.
We have dined in many of the Cote restaurants, and this was our first time at the Windsor branch. As always, the service, food and ambience were all top class.
We had another great meal in Cote at Windsor, we were seated by the window overlooking the river & Windsor Castle. Cote never fails to please.
Restaurant made a real effort for my husband's birthday, finding us a nice treacle & providing a complimentary drink. Food was nice and waitress was very pleasant.
Good food, got set menu so great price, very happy? Nicely full, made a very pleasant evening. Will return when next visiting Windsor for a while.
Delay at the door being seated but once settled, we were well looked after and the food was as great as ever. Service prompt without being pushy.
Disappointing, regularly use Cote for breakfast and Windsor is usually one of my favourites but on this occasion we were left disappointed. Latte's were very bitter and bacon baguettes were not crispy as ordered. Won't be rushing back here for breakfast.
Made very welcome with a lovely window side table - perfect. Cote's food is always good and we had attentive staff. Windsor such a good location
Service was incredibly slow but not because the team weren't working hard just there was not enough of them . Food was very substandard and off all the dishes that where chosen they all looked like incredibly small portions, and the salad nicoise looked bland and tasted bland. Disappointing
Fab food, location and service . Def recommend and great for coeliacs . Will return as we always do . Gin cocktail very nice too !
Very good service and really well prepared tasty food! Booked online and took our American friends who were very pleased. For a busy bank holiday Monday it was not too crowded and had lovely views of the river.
Excellent lunch, always well presented. Great menu choices on set menu. Wonderful table with views over the river. Always a great buzz without being too noisy. Everyone very happy!
Decent table d'hote menu, something for most tastes Excellent service, attentive without being overbearing. A very good environment, tables not too close together, background music unintrusive to conversation
Good food, excellent service and table by window overlooking Thames as requested! Would definately recommend and cant wait to visit again. Good atmosphere. Would recommend.
Really enjoyable, nice food and friendly service. Many options and good location.
Lovely location!! Right on the river, breakfast out there was sunny and so nice! Wasps were a bit annoying but what can you do!! I stupidly left my phone on the table and walked off, realised about 30 mins later and walked back, and asked if I had left it. The amazing Sian went and got it from the safe for me and gave it back! I was so relieved and grateful it was handed in and kept safe! Definitely recommend.
My husband and I both enjoyed our meal, we chose from the set menu and thought it was very good value. On this occasion the service was very slow between courses.
Good service always good food and nice experience. Setting great alongside the river, we had breakfast this time all inclusive with juice and tea, very good value
The first table offered was nosey and they kindly moved us downstairs which was much quieter as we wanted to talk. The table had been laid up but wasn’t clean so I asked for it to be wiped over. My friend really enjoyed her risotto and I had fish sea bream. I think a suggestion of a side of potatoes with the fish would have helped.
Lovely meal in the most perfect setting. We had a table outside right next to the river. The lamb rump was perfect and the lemon tart was scrumptious. Great value for money.
Great food and service. Staff were very friendly, especially to my 2 and a half year old niece. Lovely views of the river and a nice, not overly busy environment.
After making a reservation some 3 weeks ago, with a request for a table overlooking the river. The whole reason for choosing THIS establishment to sit with a view of the Thames. We were shown to a small cramped table next to a wall - no view at all! When we queried why when we had reserved a table view there wasn’t one available were told it’s busy today! On leaving we could see suitable tables unoccupied/available. Not a good experience, not good customer service.
Staff are lovely but food can be inconsistent My pork belly did not have a crackling top it was soggy Tasty but not as it should be Calamari was slightly over cooked, again tasty Spoilt by a large table of very loud people who don’t consider others
Our lunch was excellent, superb food, fish parmentier, veal, creme caramel and chocolate mousse.Friendly service too.We love Cote, especially Windsor branch with fabulous views of river and we visit this Cote more than any other.
Excellent pre theatre dinner with a free glass of Kir Royal. The food was lovely and staff were very attentive without being intrusive or making us feel rushed. Finished our meal in plenty of time for the short stroll to the theatre. Excellent start to our evening and great value for money. Thanks Cote Brasserie.
Cote Brasserie was fantastic. It was my daughters 21st so we had a lovely table overlooking the river. Service was great. Food was excellent. ..best steak I have had in ages. They also gave us complimentary prosecco for three people. A fab lunch...thank you Cote!!!
The Food was hot and delicious, the service was prompt and friendly. A bonus was the outlook on to the river on a sunny day, it was charming.
Great food and service and food was fantastic would definitely visit again, seated in good location therefore enjoyed the meal with family visiting it was an ideal location
good service and food reliable as usual however fillet steak was very poorly cooked. I would have sent it back but decided not to make a fuss as we were with friends. disappointing compared with previous visits.
When I booked online, I advised it was my friend’s birthday and requested a nice table. We were given a good table with a view of the river and - a complete surprise - a Glass of sparkling wine each, on the house. Nice touch! Food was great and staff polite and efficient. Highly recommended.
It was ok We were initially given a really small table for 4 table but we did move when we asked The food was ok. My husbands chicken looked rather pink so he didn’t eat it but they took it off the bill. My cod dish was rather unpleasant. The peach crumble pudding was rather bland. I had pointed out it was my daughters 7th birthday but nothing special was offered again until we asked. Just a balloon on her chair would have been simple enough So could have had a better experience. We think Cote Marlow is much better and will go there next time
Usual high standard from Côte - roast cod excellent! Also a joy tot sit outside and enjoy its setting on the River. Looking forward to a return visit.
Lovely setting by the river Thames and looking across to Windsor Castle. Excellent staff.mwe were served by delightful Leo. Excellent breakfast and very good value for money. I would most certainly return to this delightful restaurant.
THE WINDSOR COTE IS AN EXCELLENT LOCATION WITH MAGICAL VIEWS OF THE WILD LIFE AND CRAFT ON THE RIVER THAMES. THE FOOD, AS ALWAYS, WAS EXCELLENT VALUE . . . 3 SUPER COURSES FOR ONLY £13.50!
Went with friends for lunch and had a window seat overlooking the river. We chose off of the lunch menus. Food was excellent and so too was the service.
Good food and great company made for an enjoyable evening. Shame that the one very expensive bottle of red wine requested was "out of stock"
