The Irish general manager couldn't have been more warm, friendly and accommodating! Food was lovely as well with a river view! Will definitely come again.
Excellent service and great riverside views. Always has a buzzy feel
Another relaxed breakfast at Cote with an old school friend. Service, as usual, was very friendly and attentive without being intrusive. The food was hot and well cooked, again as usual. The layout has been changed back to include the comfy sofas and no longer reminds me of McDonalds; glad to have the old, reliable and comfortable Cote back!
Good food and good service - managed to accommodate our request for bill and dessert to be served quicker as we were running late for our theatre date!
Yet another lunch at Cote Windsor for we regulars. As usual the welcome was warm, the food excellent, the ambiance enjoyable and the view magnificent.
We had the three course set menu, our expectations were high and we were not disappointed. The food was delicious and the staff were attentive and polite.
As ever, the food and service were excellent with a traditional atmosphere of a bistro. However, I think the kitchen needs a recipe for pomme salardaise.
Pre theatre dinner with wheelchair user, and 2 with special diets. Accommodated without any problem and all dishes very nice. Service efficient if a little matter of fact.
We had a very pleasant breakfast at Cote. We were celebrating a friends birthday, and Cote offered the birthday girls a complimentary bucks fizz. The food was lovely and the staff attentive.
Even though very busy we had an enjoyable and fine tasting lunch. Relaxing ambience with lovely view onto the river and Windsor Castle. Will do it again!
Its a wonderful place by the Thames river with brilliant staff service. Food is excellent, prices not bad and the atmosphere is ni. It’s a good opportunity for families!!! Congratulations!!
We had another excellent experience at Cote Windsor. We were placed at a table overlooking the Thames which was perfect. The service was excellent as usual, and the pre-theatre menu was delicious. The leek & potato soup starter was very tasty, the pork ragout was very tender and the dark chocolate pot was a perfect finishing touch.
Great value, plenty of room and service was top notch. Idea dining place to meet friends pre or post theatre. Wouldn't hesitate to go back 👍
Charming location with many tables overlooking the river. Although crowded the service was excellent and the staff were all charming. The pre 7pm menu was delightful.
Beautiful setting because of the restaurant's proximity to the water and Windsor Castle. The restaurant was very busy and in consequence there was a 20 to 30 minute wait on food. The businesses of the restaurant meant we had to politely request a waiter/waitress to take our order after a prolonged wait.
Great location with great views of the River Thames. Good food and excellent service. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, particularly our Hungarian waitress.
The food was very good and the service was excellent. We told the waiter that we were limited time wise as we were going on to the Theatre Royal. The service thereafter was very prompt.
Always a very pleasant experience at Cote, Windsor. Staff helpful, food good and we got a window table this time! Would certainly recommend this restaurant.
As always the experience of dining at this lovely restaurant overlooking the Thames and opposite Windsor Castle is a real treat in every way. We visited before going to an afternoon performance at Windsor Theatre. We are never disappointed with the choice of menu and love the kir royales.
It was a lovely morning with friends at Cote Windsor sunshining through windows and overlooking the river. Definitely, My friends had the wonderful first day of 2019 at Cote Windsor.!!!
Efficient, friendly and delicious. Lovely venue to catch up with friends and family. I particularly liked the online booking system and cheerful meet and greet. Recommend wholeheartedly.
Unfortunately this time Cote did not live up to its normal high standards, which was so disappointing. The starters were fine, but after a good thirty minute wait for the mains to arrive my guest’s Breton Chicken was almost cold as were her chips. My own meal was piping hot. When we told the waitress she offered to have another meal cooked, this meant us eating separately and the possibility of overrunning the car park so we declined. On paying the bill Front of House staff explained they were having a problem with the door to the kitchen and food on the pass was not staying hot. Can I suggest if you know you have a problem, do not leave the food where it can get cold.
Always friendly service, lovely location, lots of selection to eat and at a reasonable price. Côte’s in Windsor will be on my list to attend many times during 2019.
Excellent food at affordable prices with a great selection of French quality wines. View of the river Thames is part of the deal. Easy to accommodate a small infant. Be aware that tip is included in the bill. I would return anytime for a good meal. Take your time to find space in the public parking in Eton. I highly recommend Cote.
Service , food and wine all exemplary at Cote in Windsor. We shall be revisting this restaurant very soon to try the next seasonal offering.
Great restaurant next to the River Thames. Good service and the breakfast is really good value if you go with the offer and get everything included.
Fabulous lunch today at Côte Windsor. Lovely window table. Set 2 or 3 course lunch excellent value and plentiful. Really enjoyed the cauliflower soup and sour dough bread. Pork Ragu tender and parsnip mash delicious. Staff attentive and very pleasant. Would recommend and will visit again.
Very busy on New Year’s Eve- we were there for last sitting at 10.30pm- service was slow and they had run out of various things by then. Only the one menu price available to choose from... lovely setting in Eton by the river!
As usual service and food was good. The restaurant was very busy but it didn’t affect the service we received. Will definitely be back again.
I loved going to Cote for breakfast but I am going to have to rethink after my visit yesterday. The Service and Food was still great but the changes to the Seats and Seating arrangements don't 'sit-well' with me if you will excuse the pun! The comfy Bench Seats were a feature I particularly liked in Cote but as the person next to me reflected "The place is more like a Mc Donalds"; and it is true! No offence to Mc Donalds though; it is just not what some people have come to expect from Cote!
Nice food and warm welcoming we can have at cote Windsor. Also, overlooking the river will give you breathing space for your weekend or holidays. Relax and enjoy.
Fantastic service throughout our meal, food of the highest quality with excellent wine too! The location also adds a special touch! Look forward to coming back soon!
We had a wonderful evening at Cote Windsor on Christmas eve. My freinds invited on that evening were very delighted with everything that they had there. Food were very decent and well served. I have already booked a table for the first day of New Year 2019 !!! Thanks !!!
Nice restaurant with good service. The only issue I have here is the inconsistencies between different cotes and what you get portion size, ie bacon in the baguette
We sat down at 1pm; our main course was delivered at 4.15! By which time we were half pissed! The meat was overcooked, and the potatoes were cold, The reason I am giving a score of 4 and not a 1 is because of our waitress, who was at all times smiley, cheerful and helpful. Her blood's worth bottling! It was not her fault that the manager had not got enough staff. PS I had booked the table several weeks previously - they knew we were coming!
Again, a lovely meal at Cote. Was a little disappointed the chicken I ordered was quite dry. Great atmosphere and food always served with a smile.
Staff were very welcoming and food was lovely. Good value for money. Teapot gave lots of refill cups :) Great location and lovely views of the Castle.
Excellent setting and friendly staff. The duck breast was great but the flavour was different, perhaps a new chef? The food came rather slowly. Overall, a pleasant dining experience.
Excellent food and service with a lovely ambiance. The waitress was very patient and helpful we were a table of 6 all changing our minds!
My wife & I booked a table at Cot'e Brasserie for Christmas Eve. We had bread & olives, starter of spicy prawns and mains , ducks breast & mussels in garlic wine source from the a 'a cart menu, an excellent festive fixed price typically french menu for £30 The service, food and ambience were excellent. The location of this restaurant is hard to beat. Overlooking the river Thames and adjacent to the bridge at Eton. All in all the perfect way to start Christmas.Highly recommended.
We always enjoy our regular visits to Cote Windsor. The view and ambiance are wonderful, the food is excellent and varied. Most of all though the service is superb. All the staff are good but Adel and Dawid excel.
The staff were so friendly and attentive, making my birthday meal wonderful. The food was exquisite and although there was a slight mix up with the steaks they quickly rectified it. Will definitely recommend!
At least a 30min Wait between starters and main One medium steak was ordered but came very raw inside but we didn’t return as we were concerned we would have a long wait again Rest food ordered was good We ordered coffee and Manager gave them To us to compensate for the long wait When paying the bill we asked for the service charge to be removed Overall disappointing as we have have had better experiences at other Cotes eg Bath
Another good breakfast recommend to everyone I try and go once a month it never let's me down then go and feed the swans and walk round the shops
Good food and service with reasonable prices window seat overlooked the castle which was lit up will definitely visit again to use wine voucher Jan
It was an excellent meal and a very enjoyable experience, as ever, at Côte Windsor. The restaurant chain is certainly extraordinarily good value for money. What stands out about Côte is the staff. They are clearly extremely well trained and uphold very effectively the standards they have been shown by the management to follow and they are friendly and pleasant to interact with. It's amazing but simple, old-fashioned observance of the basic rules of running a restaurant have been superbly captured by those running the Côte chain and it is so refreshing.
Food , high quality as usual , however Service was slow as it was busy and we had to wait nearly 1 hour for starters
Great as always, you can always rely on Cote for a good meal, not rushed and good quality food at a reasonable price. Nice atmosphere
Delicious high quality food and a great selection of wines ,with the most attentive knowledgeable staff you could wish for in a beautiful place Windsor.
always great food nice atmosphere pretty views over river Thames
