Côte Windsor Restaurant

This visit was for my mother and my nephew. We took a boat trip from Runnymeade to Windsor and came to the Cote on Eton Bridge for a meal which was an excellent choice. We were all very pleased with everything and will be returning.

My favourite way of spending a sunny afternoon is at Cote Windsor sitting on their terrace watching the boats go by, sipping kir royales and eating delicious food. Highly recommended.

This visit was made after taking a boat from Runnymeade to Windsor and added to a very enjoyable day out. To eat the lovely Cote Brasserie food overlooking the River Thames whether inside or seated outside if the weather permits is one of my favourite things to do!

This was the ideal restaurant to celebrate my birthday. You can always rely on the good food, choice of menu, delicious kir royales and service at this restaurant. Highly recommended.

As always, great service and delicious food, but the noise level is a problem.

As a regular visitor to Cote Brasserie, this was once again, a very enjoyable way to spend an afternoon with my mother who is not very mobile. It is easy for her to reach as there is a step free access from the side path at Eton. The food, ambience, drinks and service are always to be recommended.

This is a wonderful restaurant overlooking the River Thames and it is easy for my mother who is not very mobile to come along to as there is access to downstairs without the need for steps by using the side path. This also leads straight to the outside where you can sit by the river on a sunny day. The food, drink and service is always good and reasonably priced.

This is a great restaurant to visit, especially if you are going to Windsor Royal Theatre. The food, drinks, service and atmosphere are always good. It can get a bit noisy inside at times so it is best to sit outside on the terrace on a sunny day.

Sat outside, lovely meal. Great value for money. We would return.

We were sat next to a very large table so it was noisy. The manager was outstanding though and helped arrange food to help with my milk allergy.

The last visit was ok, it took a little longer than normal to be served. Breakfast was lovley. I'm afraid the one negative on this occasion, was the cutlery and glasses were not as clean as they normally are, which put me off a little this time.

I had the prestige menu. I chose the mussels as a starter. many of these had hardly any meat in- just a bit of string, really. I sent them back, and was brought another bowl. these were even worse. I could not eat any of them. I spoke to the manager who said that this was not a good time of year for mussels. If this is so, why on earth are they on the menu???? To add insult to injury, the manager was unable to delete the charge for the mussels, as it was part of the Prestige deal. Never again.

The food was nice, but the service was very slow. The waiter was overworked and covering too many tables, and whilst he tried his best it did mean quite a wait!

A great locaion with views of Windsor Castle and the early dinner menu is great value!

The food, athmosphere and service were excellent. We were in the downstairs eating area and the only unsatisfactory aspect was the very loud crash each time the staff dropped and empty bottle into their bin.

We are regulars at the Cote in Windsor and as always there was a very warm reception and as the time we had chosen was not around peak time we were able to sit exactly where we wanted right by the window. Food and drink was really nice and look forward to re-visiting.

The food was fine but expensive for what it was. Not a huge selection for a fussy teenager and the service was slow.

Excellent but hard to hear when it is busy if you are grown up

The food & wine could not be faulted. A bit disappointed that we couldn’t get a table by the window. One of our party was celebrating their 84th birthday & they unfortunately they thought it was exceptionally noisy. However, overall we were happy with our experience & will definitely be returning.

Very mediocre and absolutely not worth the fuss about getting into the place. Cote is resting on laurels that are no longer appropriate for the place. Cold flatbread, very unimpressive steak frites and OK charcuterie. .... certainly not worth our time or money. mjl A

Food was very disappointing. Odd tasting salmon with dry and undercooked ratotouille. Beef bourgeon was also very dry and tasteless.

To have to wait 35 minutes for the main course to arrive after finishing the starters is totally unacceptable, I was beginning to think they have lost the order. The waiting time needs to be drastically reduced between starters and main course.

This was a celebration evening for eight of us & it could not of been improved the ambience & service made it a very memorable evening.

Floor manageress very rude, table waitress very friendly & efficient. Main course's left a lot to be desired in quality, we do much better at home for a lot less cost. So it is down to total experience, overall less than satisfactory we not be back.!! Views of river requested but denied.

We like Cote very much but we wish there was continuity of staff - we hardly ever see the same faces and we also have to beg for a window table, even though they remain empty while we are dining!!

Another great brunch had at Cote. All 6 of us very pleased with the food and value for money. One plate had to be sent back as poached eggs had gone hard but they quickly brought out a fresh plate. My favourite brunch spot on the river in Windsor

I come here all the time as I think their brunch menu is great. Service is usually excellent but this time we had long waits and had to go and find a waiter after we’d been sat down about 20 minutes as hadn’t had a drink or food order taken. Food was excellent as usual.

We arrived and were seated immediately. Good, friendly service from the Staff and the food was exactly what you'd expect from such an establishment. Will definitely book again!
