Evening meal set menu was excellent as was the efficient and friendly service. Also great views out to river and across to Windsor and car park nearby in Eaton 5 mins walk . Would throughly recommend and book before going

My friend and I met early at 4.30 pm for dinner and had the September set menu which was excellent for the starters (could have eaten everything) but not so for the main courses. We both had the baked Camembert though this should really be a starter. Still it was delicious. The Maitre d' was extremely pleasant and greeted us like long lost friends. There is one downside with nearly all Cote Restaurant toilets (ladies): they are all tiny. They all smell. They are built to standard with toilet seats wobbling. The one at Windsor - the cubicles were so small that most larger ladies had to use the disabled toilet. I understand that this Cote will shortly be refurbished. Could the ladies' toilets please be enlarged with some sort of extractor fan or ideally windows. The location of this Cote is superb: right on the river.

As usual we enjoyed the whole experience including this months special veal sirloin. The only thing negative was a rat running through the pavilion upstairs.

Delighted with our table - declared by my guests as "the best table in the house"! - everything as per my advance request ("overlooking the River and the Swans"!). All our food delicious and the service very swift and attentive Thank You!

Overall I was very disappointed - my sister's food was overcooked and dry, noone came to ask if we were enjoying it. Staff were very stretched. On complaining they gave a glass of wine as compensation. I saw other diners with the same dish that looked more appetising hers was definitely poor standard and should never have left the kitchen! My fish pie was not the best either. On the whole over rated, doubt I would go again. Irritated I had to pay 12.5% service charge when staff too busy to give a good service, although they were helpful when we did see them. Staff and atmosphere where the better part of the experience, food poor. I have been to Cote several times before and to be honest have loved the atmosphere but not always the food.

The meet and greet was sullen and not very helpful. We waited 10mins before anyone came to our table. My husband steak although ordered as medium well done was rare and had to be sent back so ended up not actually eating together. They took it off the bill but it spoiled the meal which was a Birthday Celebration. It's very hit and miss these days which is a shame as when it good Cote was one of our favourites. We are going try other restaurant options after last night.

We came at 5pm for a birthday meal and it was lovely to have kir royal on the house. It was nice and quiet but got so noisy and my husband is partially deaf so bit difficult for him. All the food was good but my lamb parmentier was very dry.

An excellent meal, great value for money and the best of locations. It was a shame that the delay in receiving our main course could have spoilt an otherwise excellent experience.

A first of hopefully many delicious Côte Brasserie meals with my grandson who has just started at Eton! However, I have a problem with limited mobility and feel it would benefit many potential clients if a comprehensive web page was available clearly showing the excellent access to the Côte Conservatory, with is disabled toilet via Riverside Plaza at the end of the Costa Coffee Passage.

Excellent food. Attentive staff. Happy to return for further excellence.

Had an excellent 3 course meal from the fixed price menu early Wednesday evening before going to the theatre. The sardine starter was delicious (and boneless!) and the lamb parmentier was also great.

Always great value. and lovely river view . This restaurant has the smallest ladies loos ever !!!

We were well looked after by very friendly staff - as usual - we are regulars and known to the staff. The Cote formula is ideal for an evening meal with a deadline to get to the theatre. The outlook from Cote Windsor is wonderful on a late but sunny summer evening with the River and Windsor Castle to look at.

Fabulous food as usual, superb waitress as usual. Only disappointment was that much of the outside area was closed despite it being a beautiful warm sunny day, perfect for sitting on the riverside in a stunning location. Seemed illogical.
