Great food and service as always. Very noisy though if you don’t mind me saying.

Lovely view of the castle and friendly staff! Seating could be more comfortable.

Excellent service with a waitress that smiles and does her job with pride. Food always good that’s why I keep coming back ! Tarts au Citroen. The best! Better than in Paris even ! Might have it for breakfast next time!! I think cote is now the best restaurant in Windsor .

Very slow service - kept waiting 50 minutes. "Kitchen issues" excuse didn't fly when inedible food was served. However Maitre D was very professional and took care of the bill. Generally a pleasant restaurant with great value and good service. I guess they were having a bad day. I will return and give them another chance.

Early evening visit to Cote Windsor was excellent as usual - good food, good wine, good service, and good value for money!

I been here quite a lot the last few weeks, today was a big disappointment.Food came out over done and sides had to be replaced as was cold and I had my food different times because of the issue and wasn’t a very nice experience.

Charming professional lady at reception and delicious food BUT terrible ongoing noisy clattering on lower level whether re coffee machine or dishes being stacked; like being in terrible deafening nightmare

We come a couple of times a month before going to the Windsor theatre royal, which works well for us, came Monday evening with my son for his first visit to Cotes and he was really happy, ate most of the menu! Will be coming at the end of the month again for our pre theatre dinner date. The service was exectional again this week as always due to my allergies we have to be very sure of the food I eat and Cotes can cater for these issues.

I had crab mayonnaise followed by seafood linguine and my partner had tuna carpaccio followed by mushroom and spinach crepes. All these dishes were delicious - we are used to very enjoyable meals at Cote! Service was also excellent.

Not only superb food but incredibly friendly and supportive staff (from reception, managers, waiting staff across the board). Thank you for the beautiful table by the window and for helping us with a great family evening

Food quality gone down hill - used to be good rustic french food and value for money - not any more, the steak had so much black pepper it burnt my daughter's and my mouths. Calamari fried in dirty oil. and such a long time to wait for food in a half full restaurant.

Eaten here a lot but lately food quality really gone down hill, my daughter's steak had so much black pepper it burnt her mouth. Salad badly cut leaves and clumsily cut chunks of vegetable. Calamari fried in dirty oil. In addition the food took ages to arrive and the restaurant was not half full. I used to think this restaurant was great value for money for rustic french food - its a shame.

Well done guys Always good always tasty Good value for money U go the extra mile if required Even though it’s busy !! Keep it going !

Although food excellent and the staff remembered my daughters birthday with a complimentary desert and candle , we felt the request for a window seat could have been upheld and the 15 pound service charge was extortionate

Beautiful breakfast on a Saturday morning. We made a reservation at 9 am and had the place to ourselves for about 10 minutes. The view was lovely and the food was good.

This is one of our favourite restaurants, beautifully sited overlooking the Thames. Food is well served and it is good that they take care of their customers who need to be gluten free. There is less choice of food over the weekend than during the week when the table d'hote menus operate. It would be good if the Prestige menus or similar options were available at the weekend.

The usual excellent fare with very helpful server who was very attentive

Another good evening at Cote Windsor. Waiting times slightly longer than usual (at one point the queue for places was out of the door) and it was a little noisy at times but not enough to detract from good company, good food (all four of us including two who have to avoid gluten thought so) and very friendly and helpful service.

Lovely meal, as always. In fact a better meal than some restaurants where we've paid double. Staff charming and efficient. Location and view in Windsor are perfect.

Service is always wonderful, I come for lunch there atleast once a week. The set menu is amazing, I've always loved everything I've eaten. Just a lovely place tk eat for anytime if the week!

Whilst the food is of good quality the dining experience is ruined by formulaic service without thought. For the second time now our starter of olives and pissaladiere has been interrupted with main course. The reason being that it’s not really a starter. Well it indeed was a course in our meal and it would be nice to think that we could finish it before being rammed our mains. Dining is an experience, we wish to enjoy it, too often we haven’t at Côte. You need to address this

Had requested a table with a view which we got which was great as visitors from America with us. Food was good, amazing selection, almost too much but enjoyed by all. Service was ok but not great, waitress worked hard but seemed to have too many covers to deal with. We weren't in a hurry so not a problem but quite a gap between courses. Has certainly improved though and would go again.

We had a lovely meal.. our table wasn't ready when we arrived so had about a 20 minute wait... but was given a complimentary bottle of wine! How nice was that !🤗

I have been to the Cote in Eton many times over the years, and always had good service and food. Sadly tonight it was not the case. The place was packed and therefore the food and service suffered, we wanted a quick supper and were in the restaurant two and a half hours. The medium rare steak arrived over cooked but we didn’t want to send it back for fear of waiting even longer. The most disappointing part of the evening was that I took my son and two of his friends all aged 17 and 18, and whilst the law states that they are allowed to drink from the age of 16 with a meal and as long as they are under adult supervision, they were told they could not have a drink as two of them were 17. I was told it was company policy. Strangely I have been before and they have allowed my son a drink whilst he is with me, they also allowed him a drink in Cote Guildford when he was with his father. They need to be consistent!!

We were going to Windsor Theatre and expected the offer of a kir royale. We were told that this offer is no longer available - however we were given one anyway so were very pleased. Food and service excellent - only downside is the very high level of noise - from chatter from people enjoying themselves!

Excellent food, service was great. We would definitely come again.
