Côte Windsor Restaurant

Whereas the food was, as usual, good the service in general left a lot to be desired. More staff at reception was badly needed. It is not good enough to have only one person at reception to greet people and escort them to their table, and thus invariably leaving a queue at reception waiting to be attended to. This has occured now too many times without being changed, leaving people frustrated and going elsewhere.

Splendid value, truly wonderful service, flexible and accommodating. Just perfectly pitched for us, relaxed and friendly but smart and professional. Doesn’t feel like a chain but is my go to chain restaurant. Food, reliably and consistently good. Thank you.

Love it at Cote Windsor as it is a very nice setting by the river. Service is excellent and food is good too. I would highly recommend it

A five-minute wait to be welcomed and another ten to be seated wasn’t a great start, but things cheered up once we sat down. The staff were rushed but good-natured and food arrived reasonably quickly. Five of our six meals were very good but the goats cheese salad was really awful - one piece of slimy goats cheese on a few bits of ‘roasted’ vegetables that were nothing of the sort. But I still like Cote and we’ll be back.

Ambience excellent. Service ok with friendly staff. Food fine. Mussels were very small and not great. Calamari excellent so really a mixed bag.

Ordered belly pork with cabbage and apple. Menu did not say there were onions in the cabbage and i have an allium allergy.

Good breakfast, efficiently and courteously served. Initially quiet (at 0830) but became a bit noisy as other customers arrived. Much enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and friend's company. Offering a second cup of tea or coffee might be nice.

Windsor Cote is a great location with helpful staff, good service and value.

First visit to cote, maybe my last...Breakfast was ok!! The waitress was rude and quiet abrupt. Why I paid a service charge I’ll never know

Lovely setting overlooking the Thames and castle. Very helpful staff. The food was good especially Baby gem bacon and egg salad. The Venison Parmentier was ok, portion was just the right size though the meat had two large chunks in the sauce. It could have been cut up smaller and more of it. The cabbage was tasty. Sorbet good too. My friends happy with the steak frites. We will be back I’m sure!

We go to Cote regularly and have visited 17 branches! Cote is definitely our favourite restaurant. We love Windsor branch as the location fabulous. A little disappointed today that the November special pudding, mirabelle tarte, was not available,especially as we were there for an early lunch.The waiter said they had sold a lot of them yesterday.Surely they anticipate the November specials will be popular,particularly over a weekend.

This restaurant is placed in a wonderful area right on the river thames with view of windsor castle serving french food and wine. Just wish they would change the menu its been the same for a long long time and some area are quite noisy the recent refurbishment hasn't addressed this

Had two course lunch whilst visiting Windsor on coach trip from Worthing. Good value for money,we both had chicken with roast vegetables and creme caramel plus glass of wine,all for £20 including tip! Easy to find and lovely situation overlooking river. Would be even better on a sunny day. Staff very pleasant and took our coats on arrival. Been to various Cote's - Brighton,London plus a few others and always been good.

Excellent experience. Would definitely recommend and come here again! The food was impeccable and the service was excellent! It’s a fantastic location by the riverside and ideal for a special occassion. It was my mum’s birthday and the staff were extra attentive, even bringing a complimentary dessert to the table, which was so sweet!
