Côte Windsor Restaurant

Lovely lunch in casual atmosphere. It was my friends birthday and the staff brought her a pudding with candle and sang happy birthday which added a lovely touch.

The overall has only four stars because of the toilets. The rest was unexpected really nice.

It wasn't the quickest service, but the food was good and the ambience nice

Lovely evening spoiled by the embarrassment of again having to ask to remove the ludicrous service charge. Please leave tipping to the customer or have service included prices. So far nobody can explain to me why a customer buying a £100 bottle of wine should tip the waiter any more let alone 10x more than a customer buying a £10 bottle

We are regulars at cote and never disappointed from service and food.

Service was very good, food was even better and the resturant was clean. No draught beer but selection was OK.

We arrived 40 minutes early which was not a problem for the Cotes staff who made us very welcome. When our partners arrived 20 minutes late, they were also made to feel very welcome. As it was a very cold morning we asked for a coffee which, when it arrived was most warming. Service was fine as was the quality of the food. However, having seen your advert for Cotes in my email and local; press we were disappointed not to be able to order the lovely looking 3 prawns for starter and were told that they would not be available until the New Year. Great shame and a little misleading at this time of the year ! Unfortunately we were sat near to 5 young women with very young and noisy children. Otherwise we enjoyed our lunch and the staff were very helpful.

Amazing service, staff were knowledgable about there products and what the different dishes were made of.

Lovely lunch and afternoon spent at Cote Brasserie Windsor. Table overlooking the river. Food well presented and excellent value - not too much salt used with the vegetables - a fault in many restaurants. Great service - prompt and coped with a spillage - smiles all round. Highly recommended.

Lovely thoughtful staff. The food was freshly prepared and they remembered it was a birthday treat.

Great food, excellent view of the river and nice staff. My general experience with the Cote Brassiere chain is positive and I’ll be back next time I’m around Windsor.

Lovely location to which we’ve been returning for many years, but essentially still the same old dishes on the menu. Generally a pleasant service and meal, but rather a long wait for the mains and long time for the empty plates to be removed this time.

Lovely view downstairs felt like we had our own dining room. Staff were very good.

The maitre’d was quite rude, and argued with our waiter when we told him that one of our plates of food was disappointing. The fish stew was excellent, but my wife had the steak frites with a bearnaise sauce. The steak was very overcooked and not charred on the outside so very grey and flavourless. The bearnaise was incredibly flavourless which I have never experienced before and was a shame. However our waiter was excellent and made a real effort.

I have always enjoyed the dining experience at Cote Brasserie, Windsor and was especially pleased when I dined there two days ago, as it was the first time that my friend had dined there and she too thoroughly enjoyed the meal, ambience and location plus the staff are friendly but professional and the food as always, was simply superb! We asked for a quiet table to enable us to converse easily, we were given a lovely window table overlooking the river. I would highly recommend this venue, as it is extremely good value for money.

Being a frequent customer here, I can say the quality of the food has significantly dipped and the level of service has receded, not a pleasant experience.

I had booked ahead and was welcomed warmly and shown to a table with a river view as requested. The waitress was lovely and attentive. The starters arrived before we had finished our bread and olives. The starters were delicious as was the main meal.

Icant tell you how disappointed I was about for the fourth time I never got a seat by the windo , I requested it I was on time and I got stuck in the middle with no view , this was a very special treat for my daughters birthday who has been having a dreadfull time with one of her children and I wanted this to be special , I took her for a massage which was perfect , and I thought I had booked the perfect place but was let down , I come to you with company people that dosent matter that I never get the seat I asked for I am often looking at Costa coffe but this time it mattered

My colleague, unbeknown to himself, had scratched the back of his hand which was bleeding slightly. The server came up with an anti-sceptic wipe and applied a sticking plaster. This is service above and beyond that which is expected. Excellent!
