We enjoyed, as always, an exceptionally nice meal with our friends. The service was excellent, the food beautiful and piping hot. Lovely atmosphere an£ our waitress, didn’t have a name badge but was Irish was lovely. Very good rapport with customers. Always enjoy our meal in Cotes, Windsor.
Very nice lunch. Just a bit too noisy in the upstairs main room. Helpful friendly service
Had a fantastic 60th birthday meal for my wife. Couldn't be happier with the food, environment and great service! Many thanks.
Food was great. Service was really bad. We waiting for our bill for about 20 minutes. All of the wait staff was pre-occupied with getting a cake ready and ignored the whole dining room. We literally could have left without paying. When we tried telling him, as we paid, he laughed in response as he thought we were making small talk, he wasn't listening at all.
The food was delicious and the service impeccable. Great menu
Great location right on the River at Eton: we were there for lunch on a Sunday and although it was busy it was not overwhelming (as it can be in the summer months!). Service was good, lots of menu options including 3 courses for a set price.
The staff were helpful and friendly and the food good. Thanks for a lovely night.
lovely place, always nice atmosphere, seabass was delicious, service very professional. highly recommended
Not a good breakfast experience today at the Windsor Cote. It appeared as if their was a staff shortage or alternatively too many customers were accepted. Waited 20 minutes and nil order(s) taken, so my wife had to get up and walk over to the staff and request to be served. The assistance of the Manageress was requested and she apologised. The food quality and presentation also lacked the normal high quality of this restaurant. Staff did their very best to offer a "service recovery".
On arrival it was very busy and kept waiting before we were even seen, once greeted took a further 10 mins for table, we had booked. Starters were very quick to arrive, as usual the food was excellent.
The Eton restaurant is in a great location and a window table adds to the experience. The service was okay, as was the food. Adding 12.5% into the bill is unjustifiable and I didn’t the the service was deserving of that and left less. Not a lot of choice for vegans. Although I’m not vegan, avoiding red meat and cheese as I do, limits choices considerably. A stretch to 7/10 overall.
Yet again we received a friendly and prompt service in this brasserie. It’s location is lovely, overlooking the river and Windsor castle. The staff are invariably friendly and helpful.
Food was great, service was very good, atmosphere was incredible loud, diddnt make for an intimate experience, but would return
Côte Windsor is one of our favourite restaurants. We live 20 miles away, but it's worth the effort to travel to, a beautiful location, on the river, with great views. As you'd expect, the food was very good, as was the service, etc., etc. We thoroughly recommend this Côte.
Very good food and service . Table available on time. Thank you
Brilliant food, service and atmosphere thank you so much. Our servers were really good and helpful
Service was amazing and 3 course Xmas menu was fantastic. Only issue was it got very hot inside with so many people on a Friday night but staff tried their best to get a breeze coming through.
Our visit was perfect, thank you,we had the meal from the Christmas menu and it was delicious from start to finish. We will certainly be back.
Even though the restaurant was extremely busy, we had excellent service! Everything was served in a timely, well presented, perfect temperature! Very polite friendly and engaging staff. Very enjoyable! I had the eggs Benedict to start. Very tasty my only criticism is that it could’ve had a garnish on the side. The table next to us was quite close but I understand it was very busy.
We were celebrating my daughters birthday, the restaurant was really busy, so the wait times were slightly longer than normal. The staff were working hard , but because it was busy service and food took longer than average to arrive, but when it did, it was all pleasant.
Quality of food was excellent, location superb and service could not be faulted. A great evening out
A fantastic place and wonderful food. Staff were very attentive. Only problem was it was very warm in the restaurant and a bit uncomfortable.
We were so well looked after by Adel - as usual! What a star he is. A real asset to Cote.
We had a lovely lunch today with friends. The food and the service was excellent.
Great atmosphere. Quick service! Delicious food, served nice and hot.
Unfortunately we had a very disappointing experience. There were 5 of us who wanted to have a pleasant night out. I have been to this restaurant a few times before and it was good. However, this time they tried to serve us a rotten sea bass. Yes, it was literally rotten fish cooked on a plate. We returned it immediately. The staff were apologetic about it, but the service and the quality of food over all was poor. It looked as they were short of staff. On a hindsight, we should have refused to pay the 12.5% service charge.
Very good breakfast as always, helpful staff and speedy service without being rushed
Great service plus pleasant and friendly staff with a lovely atmosphere
We have been to numerous Cote Brasserie restaurants in the UK and therefore had quite high expectations for our dinner in Windsor for my Husbands Birthday. I had booked several weeks in advance as it was a Saturday night, the hotel we were staying at was the other side of the bridge so it was a perfect location. It is a very large restaurant overlooking the Thames so I was rather disappointed that we had a table which appeared to be in a corridor and had NO view of the river. Our started (Calamari) came so fast we had barely had time to breath and sadly it had very little taste. Our main courses we good but not great as was the Service throughout with no "check backs" at any point. It really was an OK visit and sadly not up to the standard we had hoped.
Great service, top quality food, lovely location great menu offerings for every taste
November menu - the prestige menu was lovely. The apple crumble was the best. As always :)
Everthing was lovely from the waitress to the food,a really good service and it was my birthday as well.
As ever, we had a very enjoyable and memorable meal. We will be back. Many thanks to all the staff in front of the house and behind it. Seasons Greetings!
Food, service and welcome excellent. Unfortunately the table was too small and we felt very cramped.
The Restaurant was not busy, however, we waited almost 20 minutes for our starter to arrive. The waiter apologised and informed us our drinks would be free of charge due to the wait. When our main courses finally arrived two of ou
Wonderful food, atmosphere and service!! A little noises, but still had a fabulous time.
Very good, no complaints! Toilets need updating though? Most visits we enjoy Cote!
We enjoyed the food but it took a long time be fore someone took our order
It was very busy but the waiters couldn’t attend to everyone’s needs though they tried. The food was good but the onion soup disappointing and I was unable to enjoy it sadly
Lovely late lunch, great to get a window table 😄 We were at a time where there were staff changes so didn't have the continuity which resulted in a 4 . That is still a 'good' overall.....as the staff were all good, just couldn't judge any higher....no fault, just about the timings. Been a few times & it's consistent for the quality which is important.
I go to various Cotes across the land and this one was as good as all my favourites. We had a great view of the river and a lovely time with a delicious lunch.
Fabulous breakfast, best views of the river whilst enjoying the food
Lovely welcome, excellent service and great food would highly recommend
Very friendly staff and quick service. Food was good too.
Good quality food with a nice view BUT tres tres tres petite portions.
Fantastic Christmas menu. Service was fantastic and gluten free was amazing. Will be back soon.xx
great food and service with lovely views outside, enjoyed by all.
Very good service and lovely staff. Maybe add some Christmas decorations apart from that fab!
A Great place for breakfast Service was good and food was good Lovely atmosphere
It’s a lovely venue and even by the high standard of many Cotes we use it was the tops.
