Well another great experience at Cote Windsor great food Guinea Hen on the January Specials, very tasty and succulent. As usual great staff great attentive service and a good ambiance. We will be back soon.

The food is as good as ever, however the restaurant always seems so noisy, wooden floors do t help that. Overall a great evening, good staff and food!

Great location ; always have a steak and it was great. Duck also very good - my girlfriend ate it all !

As usual we had a very enjoyable meal. Adel, who is a star, looked after us very well.

It would have been more comfortable if the false blinds could be lowered in the rear of the restaurant. we were a table of 5 and the 2 facing west were blinded by the sun all the time.

My husband had the sardines as a starter he said they didn’t taste a nice as he thought they would have been. Consequently he was violently ill in his return home and spent the rest of the night in the bathroom!!! Very disappointing :-(

Had New Year’s Eve early doors dinner with friends, food was lovely and staff really welcoming, warm and friendly. I have been many times before to Cote as I live in Windsor. The experience is always a good one and the prices are affordable, please keep it this way! Happy New Year to the staff and management team. Caroline

We had a lovely time at Cote Windsor - the only thing that would have improved our visit was if a staff member had come to our table earlier to ask about drinks as we were certainly feeling thirsty at the beginning of our visit...

For the 3rd year running we booked a table at Cote Windsor for 7 people at 9.30pm. Unfortunately the table was not ready and we waited for over 30 minutes to be seated. The staff were very apologetic and we had a free drink whilst waiting.

It was a very nice experience, I am a vegetarian and the set menu did not have what I liked and the manager Owen was very helpful in assisting me with my requirements.

Friendly staff but different person on 4 occasions. Food good. Disappointed that one person in the group was told the starter was no longer available and then at desert was told the same. Was surprised that the restaurant ran out of soup and creme caramel desert. Waiting times long but on this occasion as a group it worked. If we were a two like those beside us, we would have been dissatisfied.

New Year's Eve The river view table was appreciated, thank you. The food & wine were great. Service 9.30-10.45 p.m was very good indeed. An attentive, very courteous waiter. From 10.45-11.45 p.m, the quality of service completely collapsed. This cast a shadow over the evening. All the waiting & Reception staff had disappeared. Our dinner plates were left uncleared for 30 mins, and we were eventually offered dessert by a new waiter who did his best to cope with all customers. We had no option but to rush dessert and forego coffee & liqueurs. Obtaining the bill was a challenge - like the neighbouring table, I got it only by going to the front, waiting by the cash register for someone to turn up. It was a very disappointing end to an evening that started so well. I declined to pay the 12.5% service charge because of this. This is my 2nd unhappy experience of New Year's Eve at Cote. A great pity!

A perfect way to celebrate the New Year.The food was really delicious,the steak in particular was outstanding.Service was excellent,and,considering how full the place was,things moved along at a good pace. Roll on next December 31st!

Excellent food and service all evening... And very accommodating towards my fussy eating... We weren’t ‘bothered’ by the staff asking if everything was ok every 5 minutes, and we weren’t rushed by them to eat and leave! Will definitely visit again soon... Thank you all, for making it a fab New Years Eve experience

Lovely atmosphere and despite being very busy staff were very calm and very attentive

Long wait for starters, overpriced, meals on the small side with very little vegetables, but catered for food intolerances, food was presented well, steak was delicious but shouldn't of had to pay extra. Staff were friendly.

Very attentive, even pressured, service until our mains went down. After that we were virtually ignored. We had to flag someone down, and even get up and go over to the till to get, in order, dessert menus, order dessert, the bill. Really need to get the balance right and we removed the optional service charge accordingly, something which up until yesterday, I had never felt strongly enough to do.

Excellent food, atmosphere and service and all on New Year’s Eve. Great value for money compared to hiked up prices in other establishments.

Lovely New Year’s Eve meal! Would have given 6 stars but service felt rushed especially between the amuse Bouche and starter. A little more care taken and it would have been a perfect meal!

Lovely meal but a little disappointed that we couldn’t take our son’s leftovers home for him to finish. We were told they didn’t have boxes to allow for food to be taken. Indicates a lot of food wastage unfortunately!

Unfortunately, the floor was not cleaned after previous guests and was covered in trodden food. Once staff were informed they were quick to clear the mess up. The Fish Stew was not as good as I have had previously in London. It was more reduced and seafood overcooked. I was told the crackling on someone else’s meal could have done with a little more cooking. Starters and puddings were enjoyed.

We visited before going to the pantomime at Windsor Theatre and everything was perfect. I love this location overlooking the river and opposite Windsor Castle. We were in the quieter side of the restaurant and the food was lovely from the set menu.

Good quality food and decent service although one of our party objected to the attitude of a wAiter when they mentioned an issue with their entree.

Excellent location for a post pantomime supper. Service was very attentive particularly the younger members of the party. The only ( slight) drawback is there are few soft furnishings to absorb noise , which can increase as the restaurant gets busy, despite dimming the lights, which helps the atmosphere.
