Côte Windsor Restaurant

One of our favourite Cote's, located in an unenviable position next to the Thames. On this particular visit, we were seated overlooking the river as requested. The food was good as usual and the so was the service.Our free January bottle of wine rounded off a perfect night!

This was my first time having breakfast at cotes. Probably my last. The food was warm eggs tepid. Didnt enjoy the food at all. The server was miserable and didnt bring our change back he just disappeared. Considering a service charge is added I would have expected our change to have been bought back promptly. For a treat it was nothing special.

We use Cote regularly and are generally very happy. However, today was disappointing. We took 2 friends for lunch. The service was very slow and the Chateabriand steak was barely warm and my Wife’s french fries portion was very small. We waited for over 20 minutes to order a drink which arrived after a further 10 minutes. I did express my concerns with a Manager and we received a £10 goodwill reduction from the bill. All the waitress needed to do was to communicate with us and explain/apologise for the delay.

Large work group, pre ordered. Very organised and individual payments taken without any fuss! Great time and fab service!

Fantastic setting, service and food. Signed up previously with Cote for their offers and received 4 complementary cocktails. The table had views of the night lit river, the food was delicious and authentic. Took my parents there for their wedding anniversary and they loved it. Try the creme caramel if nothing else.

I thought the offer was with free cocktail ? I asked but we didn’t get them ?

We have been frequenting visiting the Côte Brasserie at Windsor for a few years now, the food is excellent and the service from the very friendly staff always give us a dream time. Always recommend it to friends and colleges.

Nice location. Lovely decor. Food was good. Service was okay however they did forget a few things that we ordered.

We received a warm welcome and enjoyed a quality meal and service at a reasonable price. We suggest you change the price on the set menu so as not to confuse customers.

I waited too long to order. Also, I mentioned the special offer I had three times and yet was first charged the full price. Otherwise a lovely, late lunch!

Booked on phone, requested table by window, which was provided. When I gave my contact number, she called me by my name which was a nice touch. The food was good, staff polite and friendly

Outstanding value for a prime location. Food was exceptional with plenty of choice and a well received vegetarian menu. Plenty of attentive staff, friendly and kind. Superb atmosphere for our party of 12. Highly recommend.

Cote Brasserie Windsor has a nice riverside location, but we found the large conservatory type room deceptively noisy. We had to raise our voices to hear each other on a small table. Service was reasonable, but the staff were very busy and this was reflected in waiting to get their attention. There was a rushed feeling when taking our orders. (Perhaps understaffed ?) The salmon and salad was enjoyable, the food good, but if we booked here again, it would have to be one of the other parts of the restaurant and not the octagonal conservatory with its noise level.

Great experience. Only comment is acoustics of room. Dinning hall very loud when busy.

Sadly I can’t provide a review as we didn’t get to enjoy our meal due to a problem with the gas supply. We were going to the theatre so although the problem was finally resolved we didn’t have time to eat. Nice setting and staff.

I’ve always say the problem when things go wrong is not the problem but how it’s dealt with .. And tonight cote excelled... After our first course the gas was cut off abruptly and no more food could be cooked.. We were kept informed and after a time had to leave as time was getting on.. Staff apologised and made no charge.. Could not have dealt with it better.. We shall return. Thank you cote

Usually eat early at this place before going to the theatre in Windsor. Always nice.

Excellent welcome by the manager. The stars I have given say exactly what I thought of the experience. Côte is always dependable for quality and service.

An enjoyable experience with good food in a nice location

My food was good except for Sardine starter. Very ordinary. BUT the Parmentier was excellent. Good value for my group. Waiting time before order collection was bit long. The worst bit was paying the bill. Previously each member of my group had and paid a their own bill. This time the manager refused to do that and so we had a lot of messing about finding cash etc to pay the total bill. All in all though a good venue for our group!

I think this is a fantastic venue - really nice outlook from the restaurant - and the staff, food and service could not be better. Excellent

As usual we all had a very enjoyable time. We booked using the voucher emailed to me for a free bottle of wine. This voucher can be used for between 2 - 6 people if you order from the a la carte menu.

The food always meets my expectations and the service is excellent.

We had a weekend lunch for a group of 14 colleagues at Cote Windsor and had a very enjoyable meal. Service was a little slow at times, but given that we had delayed the start of the meal due to the late arrival of one of our party, we couldn't complain. There were no complaints about the food at all (we ordered from the a la carte menu) - everything was very tasty and well-cooked. This was the second time we have come to this restaurant, and will do so again.

As usual the food was great. Adel and his team provided superb service. Well done everyone!

Great food, Great service, just a bit noisy, but not your fault!

Having experienced a meal at the Windsor Cote last year we had no hesitation in booking it for 23 January. My friend and I regard this as the best branch of Cote of all that we go to. As before the food was outstanding, the courtesy of the staff excellent and in every way we thoroughly enjoyed our lunch experience. We just look forward to our Theatre Club coming again soon to the Windsor Theatre.
