Côte Windsor Restaurant

Up to the usual high standard combined with wonderful view across the river to the castle, what could better it?

The staff were very helpful and we had good service. Although I enjoyed my meal, I had salmon, new potatoes and asparagus, the portion was tiny. A very thin piece of salmons and 3 very small new potato’s, the asparagus was an ok portion. My friend had the pork belly which was a decent sized portion.

Once again every thing was very good,always consistent,a nice place to go to with great views over the castle and river .staff are always attentive

Lunch at Cote was very enjoyable today. Service was brilliant - and fast. The three of us thought our meals were delicious too. We also loved the G&T cocktails on arrival - a very nice touch. We will certainly be back again. Cote in Windsor is perfectly located, with lovely views.

Only complaints I have of all Cote restaurants I have visited is one I would love to have pancakes /orange /grand marnier on the menu and two toilets need improving.

We had a lovely brunch on the riverside. Our waiter, (Kevin, I think) was friendly and efficient and the food was delicious. Cote is the perfect spot to watch the action on the river.

Great service and breakfast however booked the lower Conservatory as it had easy access for two of our guests who were unable to use the stairs and the loo was on the same level. However upon trying to access the Conservatory using the wheelchair ramp we were unable to do so as the path was blocked by far too many bicycles locked and park on flat access ...so we ended up having to use the steps which defeated the purpose of our booking! All in all food was good.

Always friendly and efficient service. Excellent meal, super wine, and relaxed ambience. Great value. Best restaurant location in Windsor.

The food was good, the service was appalling, the staff were not engaged with the customers, we had to wave and call several times for service. Not the usual great experience we normally receive. Very disappointing since it was a friends Birthday treat....:(

Very kind that they put up my balloon and bunting for my daughters Birthday and left a Birthday card on the table. Very thoughtful. Also very kind to bring a chocolate torte with A candle to sing Happy Birthday. However, short staffed we waited 15 mins to order drinks, service was very slow and all three steaks were not served hot. We couldn’t be bothered to send them back as it was a Birthday meal. This has happened before several times but we keep giving the restaurant another chance. Just wish they could get this bit right and more staff please. I’m sure we will try again and live the ambience, view of the Bridge and quality of the food when served hot!

Food at Cote is always of the highest quality. Wonderful table next to the river on a glorious sunny day. Only gripe is there did not seem to be enough staff for such a busy day. Our table and others around us had to keep getting the serving staff’s attention to be served, for drinks, etc. They were rushed off their feet but more staff would have helped enormously.

Not as good as used to be, very tired and dirty, food ok but wonder about state of kitchens if toilets are anything to go by.

Lovely meal sitting by the river with two friends. Good value for money, especially with their day time specials. It was very easy to book online which was good as it was very busy.

Starters for two of our party were cold and should have been hot though otherwise the food was lovely

Another excellent meal at Cote.We were celebrating our Wedding Anniversary,so it was a special lunch. Excellent food and service and a lovely table overlooking the river.

As a regular customer I was very disappointed with my food, the soup was bland and tasted burnt. Service was very slow and the waiting staff were confused with the orders. I hope my next experience will be better

Lovely location and food. Service a bit sloppy. Not as good as usual, we were downstairs and felt a bit forgotten. Normally it's better than this.

Food was delicious, staff very attentive never left us without water on a warm sunny day. Location couldn't be better with amazing views of the Thames and Windsor castle. We love this place. Thank you.

From start to finish we had brilliant service very friendly. We had booked and were given a guys table with river view. The table was well laid and ready for us when we arrived.

Beautiful setting. Great food. We had a really nice birthday party for my wife this evening. We were a party of eight and everyone was very complimentary about the food.

The food was very good, reasonable table but the noise level in the restaurant is was ruins the overall experience. I think it’s the room, wooden floors which means there is nothing to absorb the sounds, would be worth looking to see if something could be done as this is not just a one off situation.

I loved the position of the restaurant overlooking the river at Eaton. I enjoyed my lunch very much. The only things that disappointed me were the toilets. I had to enter the cubicle sideways as the door was so close to the toilet, the toilet seat was very loose and there was toilet paper all over the floor. Not good.

I asked for a window seat on my booking form as it was my birthday but didnt have a window seat and the weekend menu was not offered so had to ask for that.

Another thoroughly enjoyable evening. Your Gluten Free Menu is amazing. Always enjoy coming here for a meal. Keep up the good work.

The food was very good, well cooked and well presented although a little slow in arriving. The staff were excellent, friendly and obliging but obviously very busy giving the impression they were understaffed. Also, in spite of my early notice in reserving a table overlooking the river we were told such a table was not available. An apology was made and a complimentary drink provided. However, a table was offered with partial river views which we accepted.

It was lovely to spend a sunny afternoon sitting outside overlooking the river at Cote Brasserie Windsor where the food, drink and service is always excellent.

Well priced , good value. Perfect location for pre -theatre and loved foc glass of sparkly . Waiter was great but run off his feet/ more staff perhaps at obviously busy time.

We went to Cote Brasserie for a friends birthday and the evening was perfect. We had a lovely table overlooking the river, the staff were fabulous, attentive and very polite. The food was delicious, fresh and very flavoursome. I would not hesitate to return or recommend this restaurant to anyone. We will most certainly be back!! Thank you all so very much.

Beautiful restaurant in a stunning location. Ridiculously good value, very well priced drinks. Our servers were very personable and attentive without being intrusive. Food was delicious. A very enjoyable experience

A few hiccups..... The wait to be seated was long, and the queue out the door, despite having reservations. Food was good, service was friendly but not very attentive. Just didn’t seem to have enough staff. Toilets incredibly cramped. BUT overall the experience was enjoyable, celebrating a birthday with good friends in a beautiful setting, and would certainly return in the future.

Not great today. It was very busy but we had a small table sitting in the door to the smokers outside. Our side order was forgotten and arrived half way through our mains. All in all disappointing and not up to usual standard.

We went here for Easter Dinner after visiting windsor castle. Service and food were excellent. Great location. Very relaxed atmosphere. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Would definitely recommend.
