Côte Windsor Restaurant

Another great visit to Cote. The food was wonderful and the service and staff excellent. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, and the restaurant has great view of the Thames and Windsor Castle. Highly recommended.

Our visit was spoiled by the person on the front desk who did not seem to be aware of us when we were waiting to be seated. More attention needs to be paid to customers when they enter the restaurant to ensure that they are seated in order. In contrast, the waitress was very attentive and polite. The food was very good and highly recommended.

steak frites was not as good as usual so sent it back and the replacement was excellent as one would expect from Cote in Wndsor.

Nice river views, friendly and efficient service but the interior is very noisy (no soft furnishings). The food is average with an ok wine list.

Service very slow. Food not as good as usual and it took 20 mins to get a drink order plus another 10 mins to order. The bill took 10 Mins - and the restaurant wasn't too busy!

Food very good. Waiter was attentive as possible but appeared to be run off his feet. We asked for the bill three times and had to get up and put our coats on before we could finally get attention to pay.

Under staffed had to wait a lI get time for service. The staff that were there were friendly and the food was good as usual.

Really nice food as ever and charming staff but there are just not enough staff for what is a very busy restaurant. We went for Sunday lunch & had to wait for ever for our food. Disappointing.

Although the food and setting was nice, the service was inconsistent to a previous breakfast visit. Had to ask for items that should have come as standard.

We had a lovely table overlooking the river.Good service and the food was hot and tasty. As usual as with most restaurants slow to bring the bill.

Great food and good value. Only downside for our party of 4 (all aged 60+), 2 of us walk with sticks and there was no indication on the website of 4 steep steps up to restaurant entrance...we then baulked when about to be shown to our table down a spiral staircase. Waited an extra 15 mins in a seated 'holding area' for a table upstairs. Would be useful to show on the website that the restaurant would be totally inaccessible to wheelchair users, and for the less mobile to be given the option of requesting an upstairs' table. We were unfortunate to have an extremely noisy group of middle-aged men (probably 'the worse for wear') who were later seated beside us...we couldn't wait to leave.

Got seated 15 mins late but got a glass of bubbly each. Lovely service!! Will return again and the Erin branch is lovely! Thank you

Excellent venue overlooking the Thames at on the Eton side at Windsor. Staff extremely pleasant. Food excellent up to the usual standard in all the Cote restaurants I've visited.

Good service. Enjoyed the dinner before going to Windsor Theatre. Kir Royale is our favourite. Celebration menu offers the nice selection if food for a fixed price.

Lovely food, nice feel and atmosphere. Great Location. Parking few minutes walk away, free after 7pm!! Attentive staff, always ready to help.Highly recommended, definitely will visit again.

What I didn't like was that the kitchen staff would bring a tray of food to the restaurant and then the waiting staff would then take the food. They ended up leaning the trays on to the barrier right but where we sat

We were on the eve of moving house and wanted a relaxed venue, overlooking the River Thames in Windsor. It was a great evening, excellent food from the new September menu, old favourites in the desserts, an excellent starter and a chicken dish that was filling and flavoursome. It was relaxing, just what we needed on the eve of one of the most stressful house moves to date. All rounded of with a coffee and first class friendly service.Many thanks Cotes, we will see you again.

Staff were superb, food was fabulous, the view was very pretty and the ambience was absolutely fantastic!!! Totally pleasurable experience!!! Will definitely go again and again!!!

Another excellent meal at this lunch very restaurant. I eat here about once a month and have always had excellent service and wonderful food. Although the restaurant is always busy, the staff are very attentive and courteous. The food for the set menu is excellent value and always beautifully presented and hot.

Excellent meal, staff checked with chef to ensure that selected dishes did not contain contents that I was allergic too. Overall an enjoyable meal with a good view of the river.

Situated alongside the River Thames it looks out towards Windsor Castle. We chose the anniversary menu and we were not disappointed. We went with friends and we all agree that the evening was a great success - great food, excellent location and attentive staff

Lovely food freshly prepared in a pleasant riverside location. Friendly and professional well trained staff. My wife and I always look forward to going as we know we will not be disappointed

We had a lovely lunch, the food was very nice, the setting is very good and the waitress was excellent. Would definitely come back again.

Shirts time been to Cotes and would go back again at Windsor, sat outside looking out into the river, lovely setting and could not fault the food excellent

Enjoyable pre theatre dinner with excellent service and very tasty food, at a very reasonable price. A delightful setting for the restaurant over looking the Thames

The service was excellent and the food was well cooked and presented. The portions for me were a little small and perhaps I could have done with an extra side of new potatoes. I had the calamari followed by Sea Bass.

Good food, excellent venue, good service from charming staff. Definitely a restaurant to return to . The new September fixed price menu is excellent value for money

The only reason I didn't grade the experience at 6 was due to the fact we were given no side plates to use for our bread and olives and ended up using our napkins as plates to butter the bread on. We couldn't catch the attention of a waiter so gave up and got on with it!!! Other than that the service was friendly and the food was very good and great value for money. Love the view as well - recommended :-)

Service and setting very good. Steak had to be sent back as chewy and no steak knife. Second one was lovely and not charged for it. Rest of food was lovely.

Interesting and freshly cooked food to order at a reasonable price. Pleasant location and friendly and helpful staff. The quality never varies and you are never disappointed

Waiter efficient but not friendly which is unusual for Cote. Every other branch I have visited the staff normally go out of their way however food very good and up to their normal standard

The food was good as usual it was only the seating that made me give it a 5 rating. My partners chair was not ideally positioned and the waiters were having difficulty passing by. However, moving it was not an option either. Overall it was still a very enjoyable meal - thank you!

We had a lovely lunch with great food, a beautiful view and the service was good too. Always love the calamari on the set menu !

Really enjoyed our meal. The only negative was my niece received her sirloin steak [which she loved] ten minutes before I received my pork belly. To compensate I did have a complimentary glass of 'fizz' which was a nice touch!!!

The service is excellent with very attentive and cheerful waiting staff. The set course pre-thatre dinner had a good choice and was cooked and presneted well. We go regularly. It is genearlly necessary to book.

Food was delicious, including the vegetarian dishes, which I find are typically the least tasty options in restaurants. This surprised me! Great service with a friendly smile!

The food and drink was very nice and I was happy with the amount of time it took to come. However when we received the starters to share for two. We had to wait for somebody to come nearby and ask for two mini plates for our starters. I believe that good customer service is that we should be given two plates without waiting around to find someone to ask for two plates and we should of been given them before. As our starters were getting cold and it also wasn't very busy in that area of the restaurant. Overall the service provided from our waitress on the night was good, she was very friendly and it is most likely that I will visit Cote Brassiere again for a meal.

Good service and good quality food for reasonable price. We had table by the window overlooking Windsor castle. We had lovely evening . I would recommend this place.

The meals were all delicious, however I would say that the roasted vegetables served with the chicken were too salty and peppery for me. The waitress was fantastic.

We visit Cote in Windsor on a regular basis - it is usually our restaurant of choice and we are rarely disappointed. Good food and excellent value.
