Good service and lovely food and drink. Good price for good quality. Would definitely come back again. Had a lovely evening there celebrating a birthday
The whole experience was good but the one thing that disappoints me is the fact that no bread is included with the large soups of the moment !!! Virtually all other restaurants include this. Richard Hannam.
Excellent lunch for four from very affordable set menu giving good choice. Great table and good staff. With a view like that very difficult to fault.
Excellent service and delicious food at reasonable prices. Nice atmosphere and lovely location on the river Thames. The standard of Cote restaurants is always very good.
Had a nice meal. But was disappointed that my steak came out wrong so my husband is having his and I had to wait for another 10mins for min. The restaurant did compensate us and remove the cost of our sides.
Fab venue and good value food. Great ambience esp as it's on the river. Attentive waiters. Loved it. Will definitely go again. Shame to waste for special occasions. Fabulous
Great food in a lovely setting. Lots of choice from both 'a la carte menu and the early evening meal deal. We had a brilliant evening and were really looked after.
Great location (Windsor), waiters/waitress friendly and helpful but seemed bit short staffed as we had to grab someone and ask for everything. Food tasty (Cote chicken salad always a fav., other dishes we had tonight were fine), would like to see kids dessert option as £5 for dessert makes it virtually as expensive as their main. 1 scoop ice cream would be fine.
Lovely food, super service and it was wonderful not to be rushed - made a birthday lunch very special! Thank you, we shall look forward to coming again!
We' were a table of 4 to have breakfast. Nice table looking over the river. Food was good and great value . Good food. Waiter was a little abrupt
Service was excellent to start off with. Lovely friendly waiter and starters and main courses served very timely. One portion of fries was missed off though which seemed to cause confusion and then our desserts and coffees took an age to arrive despite a couple of prompts and mentions that we were on a timescale due to parking restrictions, which is what let it down. Other than that food (moules frites could have been warmer) on the whole was good and we enjoyed our meal. Just hated the rush on desserts at the end.
Great value for money with the Mon-Fri special 2/3 lunch and dinner menu. A fabulous location on the river! Highly recommend - you won't regret it!
As usual, all was perfect at Cote, Windsor. Staff friendly and polite. Service was quick and food a delicious as always. Many thanks! From Victoria J.
Great location - lovely fresh food and friendly staff . Went to celebrate family birthday and was very impressed by the whole experience . Great value from the set menu
My guest and I were received and welcomed politely and shown to our table, where we were given a complimentary drink. The service after that was attentive without interfering. The choice of food was good. We finished our dinner in an excellent mood and determined to come again.
This was the first time that we had been here and it was lovely. The food was great and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The restaurant is on the river and has views of Windsor castle.
We were delayed because of traffic and had to call to make a slightly later booking. Staff were very helpful. When we arrived, waitress was very pleasant and food and service were great.
Lovely meal at a reasonable price. Ideal venue for my Mother's birthday with views overlooking the Thames and Windsor Castle. Will definitely return again soon.
The plaice was delicious and enjoyed by my friends. I had the asparagus which I much enjoyed. Did get table by window as requested and service was very friendly and efficient.
Fantastic service by the staff, stunning food off the set menu and location is perfect over looking the river Thames - this place is a must!
Great food, lovely efficient staff & the flow between dishes is well managed and timed. The food is fabulous. Modern and French inspired. Pricey but worth the money for the great service and consistent quality.
Took my Grandaughter for lunch at Windsor Cote. We had the daily lunch menu. Good selection to choose from including vegetarian dish. Very friendly service and food beautifully cooked
Great service and a brilliant gluten free menu available on request. We had lovely food at the Windsor and Eton branch, they accomodated us (party of 7) an hour earlier despite being super busy on a Saturday. Would definitely recommend the restaurant and the branch. Thank you!
Wonderful food and service. Always a place of good quality products and choices of drinks. I'd spent a lovely evening out with my parents, and were impressed yet again.
We were a party of four and had a first class meal all round . We felt that the service charge should be the more normal ten percent , but that is nota complaint . Otherwise good value .
Whilst staff are fine, the noise level in the restaurant from other guests was so high, it actually HURT! A table change helped a little but the overriding impression is the trendy decor exacerbates any large party noise to the detriment of other guests. Would hesitate to repeat a visit for this reason. Food was perfectly acceptable.
I love this restaurant as the food is always delicious however today the service was a little slow. The restaurant is by the river with lovely views. Highly recommend.
On this occasion the breakfast which is normally very good was only average. not very hot and not the excellent service I've had in the past at Cote
Excellent welcome and a pleasant dining room with river and castle views. Service was good and the menu was excellent. . Most of the food was well prepared and presented and was very enjoyable. HOwever, a Calamari starter and the beans accompanying the sea-bass main course which were barely luke-warm. This was disappointing as we have visited many Cote restaurants (including Eton twice before) and have found them to be consistently reliable and very good value. Accessibility is an issue in this building. Even though the staff ensured we had an accessible table, the WCs (including the disabled WC) are downstairs and the steps at the entrance are very steep and are difficult for anyone with mobility problems, even with the handrail. Nevertheless, a good overall experience and I hope we will be back.
food ok and good service. sat outside so really nice view of the castle. would go again
you were very busy so service was slow. waitress was fine she just struggled to keep up withe demand. table of 8 elderly ladies who couldn't make up there mind what they wanted didn't help
Lovely food, fabulous location, great value, friendly efficient service. Ideal lunch experience. I've been there many times with different people and have never had a bad experience.
Had an enjoyable breakfast here, the sun was shining and the large doors had been opened for a great view of the Thames. friendly staff.
Booked for 3.30 sat afternoon, they were turning people away who hadn't booked but there were loads of tables free even when we left 2 hours later! We ordered a drink then the chicken which was lovely but it came 5 mins after we ordered it!! So it was pre cooked....
Wonderful sweet lovely meal just slightly slow service but great day out would highly recommend this restaurant as I live in Eton I will bring my family again most definitely
nice french themed menu well cooked and presented food in a fantastic location right on the riverbank just a pity the waiter forgot the bread that is supposed to come with that Breton stew.
Good service, good food - what's not to like? Quite difficult to find by car, as it is addressed as high St Windsor but must in fact be approached via Eton. Lovely views over Thames from the conservatory area where most diners were, Up to standard and perhaps more compared with other 'Cote's'.
We were a large group of eight and everybody felt the food and service was excellent. What is more the bill was a very pleasant surprise in a good financial way.
atmosphere buzzy-service good--the normal set menu wasalways good choice but today it was a bit limited and the portion sizes have got a bit smaller.
Great Staff, good food and lovely atmosphere. Really enjoyed our evening meal after a Matinee theatre show. Having booked a table slight delay in seating otherwise would have awarded 6
Our first visit to Cote, Windsor, but we have visited other branches before. Excellent food, friendly and professional staff and a complimentary Kir Royale as we had tickets for the local theatre!
Always excellent! Good food and drink choices. Friendly knowledgeable staff and great value. Windsor/Eton has the most amazing views. What else can you ask for? Perfection! Especially with Peter our waiter who definitely knows how to charm the ladies to have a pudding . . . now that's an achievement! Well done.
Excellent set menu - food very good as was the service. Pre theatre meal so a glass of Kir Royale was included. Lovely location by the Thames in Windsor
We enjoyed our meal v much...food was good if not very hot...but waiting staff staff a bit austere.....need to take my theatre tickets away for 10 mins to validate we were entitled to Kir cocktails...not good
Set right on the river Thames with a great view of Windsor castle through the window lovely food and plenty of options. Definitely will go back again
An excellent venue on the river. Food was lovely especially the lemon tart!! The service was good and didn't rush us at all. Infact we were there for 6 hours and didn't even realise the time. We were not pushed out for the table even though it was busy the whole time. Excellent afternoon/evening!
Phoned Windsor Cote throughout day but they never picked up phone. Lady at front reception not interested on our arrival. Side fries never arrived but a goodwill desert was offered. All food fresh produce & wholesome taste at reasonable price.
I requested a window seat but was seated downstairs. 3 of us ordered chicken which was like rock so reordered. Requested a birthday candle/kir royal but nothing. Overall a pleasant evening dispite the hickups.
Food was lovely and so we're the staff although they were a little inattentive when we had finished eating and we're looking to get the bill
Always love the food at Cote Brasserie, but this time the service was a bit slow. Beautiful situation over looking the Windsor and Eton Bridge
