THE Food was very nice. But it was very noisy in the restaurant to the point my daughter of 17 complained about it to me.
Took my mother here for her 85th birthday today. Had a great meal combined with attentive service and a lovely setting over looking the river Thames.
Great ambience with good food and lovely menu also love the location. Staff was good but could be more attentive to customers and what they require especially when the meal is over
Lovely smiley waiters .Lovely hot cooked food .Lovely venue . Lovely price .A real dining experience ! We await our already booked next visit with anticipated delight
Another wonderful meal at our favourite Cotes in Windsor. We love going there before the theatre or for breakfast on a Saturday morning, especially if the sun is shining on the Thames and the swans are out in force.p
We have just returned from a most enjoyable meal Staff very attentive food and wine excellent. Would recommend. We had a table by the window it was all very pleasant
The veal was delicious and cooked really well. Definitely one of the best restaurants in Windsor.... catering for all guests. My dad was very impressed... will definitely go back.
Lovely setting, friendly helpful staff and all in all a very good experience. Went with 7 other people and there wasn't one complaint. Can't wait to go back!
Service great, however, my main course was not hot enough! Didn't complain as we with company and I didn't want to delay the proceedings. Pity, because service was good.
Great food and service. Dedicated gluten free menu, which is a must if you are coeliac. I love Cote, and with these beautiful views of the river and the castle what's not to like?
Good location, good service, good food, good value. Menu changes regularly. Will be going again next week, and have already recommended to friends and family.
We were welcomed well and seated quickly on a very busy Saturday night. Starters were so so - the beetroot salad tasted too much of vinegar, which is surprising as the beetroot is apparently fresh. Steaks were good. Service was excellent. But it was all a bit rushed and I feel they concentrate too much on fast turnover when they are busy. nevertheless we will return but not on a Saturday evening.
Food is exactly as you'd expect from this type of restaurant. Service is great and very friendly and the setting is excellent! Thanks for a fun evening, good times had by all in our party of 6
Excellent french fresh food Lovely view of the river Have been to the Windsor cote many times Always the same excellent standard Love the creme caramel
Food was good but not hot enough. Insufficient staff to support the amount of customers and tables far too close together. Having been given our meal we were then ignored and unable to attract a member of staff to order more drinks when required. We have been to other Cote Brasseries and really enjoyed the experience that is why we chose to visit the one in Windsor. Unfortunately this was very disappointing.
Good food and nice selection of wines, great location although downstairs a little noisy last night. Staff friendly and servive not rushed. Will go back as always good value.
Cote is generally very reliable and we are regulars. But on this occasion the swordfish was undercooked and tasteless. We will be back but likely less frequently.
Great food and lovely service, as always - wherever we go we search out Cote, because it's always our eatery of choice. Can't beat it for cost either - thank you Cote.
As usual, The service was good and unobtrusive. Although a busy lunchtime we did not feel rushed. Excellent choice on fixed menu and very good value .
The food was really excellent with everyone in our party of five enjoying their choices. Favourable comments were made about the wine. Only complaint was the service seemed a bit slow - again.
Lovely location, good food, quality service. We both ordered steak (me filet, my husband had ribeye) and they were perfectly cooked. Good value for money wine list too.
The food was great especially swordfish and steak, friendly staff who were helpful and fun and we had a lovely social round table with river views.
AS usual an excellent evening at the restaurant. Great food, good service - our friends were suitably impressed. The Brasserie never fails to deliver. Thank you.
Staff very friendly and helpful. The food was superb. Received a free glass of kir royal as we were visiting Windsor theatre. Would highly recommend this restaurant
Rude service, food cold and sent back, staff unhelpful and looked unhappy! Very disappointing as booked to cheer up staff members from my team! Will never go back or recommend to friends
This has to be one of the best appointed restaurants in the area, with views directly across the Thames to Windsor Castle. I have lost count of the occasions we have celebrated family events here - or just gone out for a quiet meal for two - and the quality of the food is exceptional. Our favourite as a starter is the Calamari; main courses with fish are always good value; with sweet, it has to be tarte aux pommes or crumble version with vanilla ice-cream. And with a bottle of Muscadet between us, the evening is just perfect. The atmosphere is always good wherever you are sitting. The attention by staff is always friendly and helpful. You will enjoy yourself immensely at Cote Windsor - probably the best sited of their great value restaurants.
Very good food. Excellent service. Very hot food. Would recommend the creme caramel. We had a lovely table by the water and really enjoyed our evening family meal
Friendly and helpful staff, very good food, and a good view of the river Thames. We asked a week earlier for a table with a view of the river and we were very pleased that this was possible. I would strongly recommend a visit to Cote Brasserie in Windsor.
Apart from a query on the bill dinner and service was good. Also it was a birthday dinner and unfortunately they couldn't offer the table overlooking Thames we requested
Went as group of 6, 4 adults and 2 children. Great relaxed service for family get together. Food was delicious we all enjoyed our choices and left suitably full!
Excellent service. I have been to a few Cote Restaurants around the South and always enjoy it. My favourite chain restaurant. If you go make sure you join the rewards scheme
Made a reservation and requested a river view table, however the table that was allocated for us was given to the couple who arrived just before us, a matter of seconds before. We were actually taken to the table but made a sharp turn when he saw it taken by the previous couple. Anyway, the waitress at our table was very Polite and friendly who managed to turn the whole situation around. without knowing what happened. Food was Good, had calamari starter which was PERFECTLY cooked and the Sirloin steak for main which was a bit fatty but cooked to the way I wanted it. I would have rated it a 6 but that mishap seating us lost the extra point.
Cote has a varied menu to cater to all tastes. The food is cooked perfectly and well presented. The staff are friendly and care about service.
Lovely restaurant with lovely service. I'd take my guests here again and recommend this place to those who like to have dinner with riverside view
Good food with a beautiful view, service could be improved. Often having to be called over or search for to order, and get the bill.
Considering the price of the food and the "optional" service charge the Food and service was average. Disappointed overall , will be given it a miss for the future.
A very nice welcome from the staff.Food excellent and a lovely view of the river.Booking is important if you want to enjoy your meal.Finished with a lovely dessert.Would recommend the restaurant to any family or friends who want to have a relaxing meal
Excellent service, quality food and a relaxing pleasant atmosphere. The staff were courteous and fast to respond if required. Will definitely be using again and sharing with family and friends.
Lovely weekday lunch. Service a bit slow. Good value for a Brasserie style lunch. Steak Frites and chicken salad. Took a while to pay the bill but otherwise good
Back to its best! We had a very nice meal, all 3 courses, with very friendly service. Have been disappointed a couple of times but the standard was right back to the first few months Cote opened in Eton. The only slight complaint was the number of attempts it took to book on-line - it seemed as though the problem was with entering a contact number!
Usually always pleased with the food at Cote but, unfortunately, today the burger we ordered was overcooked and dry. We told the waitress and we were offered free coffee.
Great food, friendly service thoroughly enjoyed it! We arrived early but staff were very accommodating and fitted us in. Lovely views of the Thames from our table.
The service was excellent as usual, the food was excellent (especially the profiteroles!), and the views over the Thames and up to Windsor castle are second to none!
Lovely staff, really quick service! Gluten free menu was very nice and overall I had a really great time. Excellent view of the river outside
Great food and really friendly staff. It is so busy on a Saturday night so if you are looking for a quiet might this is not it. It's lively and happy atmosphere.
Great location and a menu with so much choice. Happy to go back asap. Staff friendly and greeted with a Kir Royal although our table was not delayed like a few others.
Great food despite the fact it was a very busy Saturday evening.excellent service the young waitress cared about the way the food was presented and was extremely professional .
Excellent, well balanced dishes served by well trained friendly staff in a beautiful setting on the bridge between Eton and Windsor. Various discounts or gifts (such as a bottle of wine) are offered from time to time.
The booking system is simple. The food is very good and the staff are brilliant, they always so wonderful and go out of their way to make everything perfect.
Fast and pleasant service with a relaxed atmosphere overlooking the Thames. Food excellent, all round enjoyable visit. I would most certainly choose the restaurant again.
