Good food, friendly and helpful staff initially but 12.5% inclusive service charge on a table of two when the kitchen was meters away? And had to wait 20 minutes for the bill (once we'd said we didn't want anything else) Somewhat taking the Michael I think.

Great place, food, service and general 'vibe'. We feel comfortable here & with the staff, love it 😊. Not our first time and will not be the last.

We were greeted by very friendly staff and offered a choice of table. The food was good and at a very reasonable price. Nice atmosphere all round and we will definitely return.

When we visited Cote on Friday evening we had a lovely meal. The staff were friendly, the food was tasty, the service was good. What more could we want?

As Nottingham Forest were playing at home, the restaurant was really busy and the staff didn't seem to be able to cope. We waited ages to be asked if we wanted drinks, ages before they came and ages to be asked what we wanted to eat. The food wasn't to its usual standard and there was an extra bit in my husband's so called scrambled eggs, blue plastic. The lamp on the table was absolutely filthy with dust.

My last visit was extremely enjoyable and I had the seat that I requested, the food and service were very good and the staff were attentive without being intrusive. Nothing was too much trouble and it is only fair to say they contributed to an excellent experience.

Cotes continues to provide good fresh choices of food , seasonal & regular dishes, with decent service & good wines, shame no draft beers & prefer to add my own service tip, not have discretionary 12% added to Bill , otherwise v good.

Staff seemed a little overstretched,restaurant seemed busy but only two people serving.so waiting for food,food good when it arrived. Biggest bugbear 12 1/2% gratuity on bill, feel mean if don't pay this,but leave appropriate tip in cash depending on service.

Sunday morning, lazy breakfast. The food was lovely and the ambience was great. The staff were highly attentive and friendly Highly recommended. Will definately visit again.

Food was of a good standard and well presented, everything was clean and the ambience of the restaurant was very good. We were the last people to leave but were in no rush to leave. There was an issue with the free wine as we booked on line, but this was resolved by the Manager.

Food is always wonderful & there is such a variety of dishes to choose from with extra menus & specials. Staff are unfailingly polite, helpful & knowledgeable about the dishes. On the occasion of one complaint - they had run out of three main courses - this was addressed immediately, remedied & recompense made on the orders of the head chef. You cannot ask for more!

Fantastic night out. Cote has a really buzzing atmosphere .Food was great,and so was the service. We would certainly recommend the restaurant to others.This was our first visit and definitely won't be our last!

We like this restaurant a lot, but sat in the rear today and as there weren't many people, it lacked atmosphere. The staff are generally very helpful. We will go back again I'm sure. The English asparagus and Hollandaise was pretty special and cooked to perfection.

Took way too long to get our table ready even though we had a reservation. Food and drinks took a long time. My food wasn't even hot when it came.

Very good. This is the 10th Cote we've visited.The menu had a very wide choice to choose from. The staff and service was excellent. Looking forward to our next visit.

Saturday early evening - very welcoming, good food and a real buzz. The waitress was particularly nice and helped to make the experience warm and happy.

Had a lovely evening at Cote West Bridgford on Sunday. The service was prompt and the staff were very friendly and welcoming, without being overbearing. Great options on the menu, so plenty to choose from. Relaxed and pleasant atmosphere with excellent food. Really enjoyed it. Would highly recommend Cote to my friends and family. The food was great, the service was excellent, and the ambience was relaxing. We took our friends to our favourite restaurant in West Bridgford and weren't disappointed.

We love coming to Cote because the food is good and the staff are friendly and polite. The tuna rillettes were delicious, even though I don't normally like tuna much, and the Breton Fish Stew is a firm favourite with all of us.

As always, great service, spectacular food and really well priced. Very impressed with the waiting on staff. Calamari was perfect, and steak frites perfectly cooked. My request to swap the garlic butter for peppercorn sauce was totally fine and I wasn't charged for the swap either.

Enjoyable experience with good food and attentive service. The menu choices were explained well when we asked for clarification so we could be sure we qualified for the complimentary bottle of wine!

We were a group of four, after ordering our drinks we told the waiter that we are ready to order, he said he'll be back. He left us for a long time before coming to take the order. It took so long to have our breakfast. People came after us and they had their food before ours. Then We ordered a portion of brown toast. Some of us finished their food, mine was cold and no toast. When the toast arrived, their was no point. So disappointed with the service. I'll think twice before going again. Might not go again. They definitely lost me as a regular customer.

Great food and top quality service, the only reason for not giving 6 is that the waitress was slow to come over (because they were busy)

Great service, food was very good and the menu has plenty of choice. Best of all for me is the extensive gluten free menu and the fact that they are obviously very aware of food intolerances. We've booked to go again in a couple of weeks.

I attended the restaurant last week. The service was fast without being intrusive and the food excellent. The apple crumble was just right not too sweet with a lovely crunchy texture for the topping. £36.20 for two courses including two glasses of wine and two coffees offered excellent value for money in my view. I will be attending again soon as they have sent me a breakfast voucher which entitles my guest to eat free. It would be rude not to use it!

Came in for anniversary meal. Arrived 10 mins early and went straight to the table. Waitress then rushed us through our meals in less than an hour which felt like they didn't want us there. Then because we didn't want to pay the gratuitous price gave me my card and the receipt and promptly walked off. Food was nice but the service not so. Won't come again.

I like cote. The food is good (though nothing special) and it has a nice ambience. Service last night was poor, I think they were under staffed and we were forgotten several times with drinks, wine top ups, and plate clearing, yet a 12.5% service charge was automatically added to our bill. We will always come back here for their set menu which offers much better value but a la Carte is expensive for what it is.

Great night with great food with a good selection from the menu's and the service was excellent.Cote has a good atmosphere would recommend a meal here anytime.

A great experience every time we visit (and that's pretty frequent!) The staff are friendly and attentive, the food is extremely tasty and consistent and I continue to recommend it as we are always satisfied.
