Côte West Bridgford

We dined at lunch time on a very hot bank holiday Monday and we enjoyed sitting inside with the windows thrown wide open. The service was pleasant and helpful. The food was fine and the drinks good. I like the optional inclusion of a service charge shared amongst the staff team. Second time we have lunched here and this time we needed the vegetarian menu which had a reasonable selection of options. It’s a good brasserie.

My thoughts; We visited Cote when it first opened in WestBridgford- the service the food especially the breakfast were fantastic. Recently I don’t know what’s happened They no longer serve croissants with additional chocolate . Also the vegetarian breakfast leaves a lot to be desired - the mushroom , the tomatoes undercooked, orange juice is from a carton not fresh. Also what is the worst I went to have breakfast with my 4 year old Bruce who wanted a crepe with maple syrup ( a crepe was offered with bacon in the menu ) a plain crepe is what she wanted - which for a french bistro should be easy - it took for my niece to cry in order for them to do something for her - when it cane out it was paper thin!! It was a disappointing experience, never again I wouldn’t recommend this. Go somewhere else even Costa is better then this particular location of Cote - I wouldn’t rate it any stars

Our food, as always, was delicious, but sadly our waiter was quite brusque and not very friendly at all...he forgot about one of our starters, service was quite slow, considering we had pre-ordered and trying to gain his attention throughout the evening was virtually impossible. We have eaten here many times in the past and it's always been lovely, so this evening was very disappointing and has left a bitter taste.

Great wine choice by the waiter which was Sancerre. We ordered off the special set menu and enjoyed every course , we will definitely be returning. Thank you for a lovely evening.

Service was good. Crab starter was excellent. Main course of hake let it down. No carbohydrate, just a very oily piece of fish and grilled oily peppers. Shouldn’t have to buy a side dish to ensure getting carbohydrate/balanced meal. Shame, as otherwise would have been more stars.

Excellent venue, service and food. Another nice family evening. Venue felt very comfortable with young children in our group.

Once again a truly fabulous evening at Cote West Bridgford. Every experience here is first class; food, drinks, service. It was my birthday meal. I shared the Cote de boeuf. It was fantastic. Thank you everyone. We'll be back - again!

A relatively quiet Sunday lunch with family, enjoyed by all the tasty food, excellent service and a peaceful atmosphere where we didn't have to shout to hear each other.

My shared rib of beef was tough, griselly and dry. Disappointing. However the shared meal was discounted from my bill for 5. Service was not great as I felt we had chase for service

We’re fairly regular at Côte, which indicates that we’re generally happy with the way they do things. Tonight the sea bass was excellent but my mushroom and spinach crepe was too salty and too cheesy, so that mushroom the mushroom and spinach were lost.

Great food and drink, slightly let down that the steak I ordered as medium came out rare but it was sorted quickly and professionally by the very friendly and attentive staff.

I had asked for a window table as we were celebrating our anniversary, not only was this done but the waiter also brought us two complimentary glasses of fizz - a lovely touch. Service was friendly - very professional and we had a great night. Food was brilliant. We've eaten here a few times and I would recommend this as the best place to eat in West Bridgford.

Always a lovely treat for 'date night', this time for my birthday. Service, staff and food all wonderful.

I must say that people who work there amazing. they are lovely but food .I have been there few time with friends and family. Each time we had some problem with food . Unfortunately food is really bad. I don’t know what kind of oil they use in food but can say that it is a very bad one . It gave us really bad tommy :/ I do not complain this time as I know it is pointless. This visit our last one.
