Waitress was too intrusive - interrupting our conversation and repeating questions on our order - it felt too rushed despite the restaurant being half empty

Excellent food, service and atmosphere. They sure know how to cook fish and lamb - perfect and lovely, different, vegetable dishes. Perfect portion size too. Thank you.

Good value for money set menu, drinks expensive. Gave us a ‘complimentary’ bottle of tap water! Would use again as food was very good. Go before 7pm !

Very friendly staff! Very very abilging, slightly disappointed that a free Bucks Fizz wasn't offered to my Daughter as it was her Birthday. Previously we had taken our family out, and we all received a Bucks Fizz as we were celebrating our Son's birthday.

Great relaxed atmosphere, superb service, the food is always excellent.

Great food and great service. the menu is really good. This is a warm and comfortable environment to enjoy a peaceful evenings dinner, and very sensibly priced.

Very helpful staff. Perfect table. An ideal place for lunch when visiting child in university at Nottingham. You can always rely on cote for excellent service.

Enjoy se meal, ambience and service. However the food was not quite up to its usual standard. The flat read could have been more interesting with more cheese added and less onion puree.

Good food, very attentive service from 3 different waitresses, reasonable prices. The only thing our party of six didn't like was the 12.5% service charge as we spent well over £100 on wine and object to paying the service charge on the entire bill so we deducted the service and left what we thought was more appropriate in relation to just the food. We will definitely return to Côte next time we're eating in West Bridgford.

Good food and good service. Menu is interesting and some nice specials. Service very professional and on the ball. Attentive without being in your face.

Great service and excellent food. We chose from both the set menu and the standard and all the food was delicious - generous portions. Will be returning soon.

We ordered main courses, our wine was brought with some very nice crispy bread which we thought was complimentary with our wine. When my fish stew arrived I expected it to be served with bread, half way through I asked for bread which never came. We had sweets which were excellent. When we were given our bill the manager apologised for not serving bread with fish stew, but what we’d received with our wine was it. At no time did we complain but the manager deducted the cost of one sweet from our bill, credit to her.

Excellent service, amazing food . Immaculate throughout , a very lovely dinning experience and is our number one place to eat in West Bridgford. We will be back again soon.

Excellent service, menu wide and varied. The restaurant was very comfortable and the atmosphere within the restaurant was excellent. The meet and greet when first entering was also very welcoming.

Delicious food, great service. My favourite restaurant in West Bridgford. We stayed 4 hours and didn’t leave til midnight but we weren’t rushed one bit

An good meal except egg on salad starter was ice cold and runny.This spoiled the starter.A complaint was made but nothing was done about it.12.5% service charge rather steep

The food was very tasty but very overpriced for the size of the portions. Service was good and attentive although we were there on a Sunday evening so can't comment on what it would be like at a much busier time.

Great food, classic French bistro fare but done well, doesn't feel like a chain. Wine list decent and not crazy prices (all French of course). Usually some good specials, though my wife's lamb wasn't as full of flavour as it looked (my pork belly was great). Good atmosphere for parties, and the service was friendly and efficient.

Once again a fine dining experience and such excellent value too. The staff were both charming and efficient and Sian the relief manager for the evening was most welcoming and kind.

Best Coq au Vin for years, lovely wine everything was spot on. Lovely relaxing atmosphere, great service. Not liking the 12.5% optional service charge, as I like to choose, however it was worth it :-)

Not our best experience at Cote and we’ve been to quite a few. The welcome was slow, kept waiting in by an open door. Slow to be seated and left stranded with the menus. The restaurant was extremely noisy, difficult to carry out a conversation. Food was good, as usual.

This was a 70th Birthday and wedding anniversary celebration and the food and service was excellent.Would recommend this restaurant to anyone and will definitely go again.

Excellent experience, the staff were very friendly and happy to have us at the restaurant. The service was efficient and the staff very attenentative leaving us impressed. The food was tasty and the portion sizes were very reasonable; we were worried the food might be too rich however it sat well on all our stomachs. An excellent range of wines and dishes - although some snails might be a good addition on the specials menu!

Plenty of choice for starters, mains and especially desserts. Also thought that Cote has really friendly service. Will be coming back in the near future.

The staff are great but they need to talk a little slower as we all struggled to hear them. This could have been partly down to the fact that the restaurant was full and rather noisy. The food is of a high standard and reasonably priced. The service was very high standard also. We hope to visit again soon.

Excellent food and service. I had French onion soup followed by belly pork, both delicious. Staff are friendly and attentive. It's a great restaurant for a special meal in Bridgford.

Ive visited Cotes London & West Bridgford, alot for brunch, lunch & dinner with friends, and on this occasion, although the service was very good, they could've done with more staff as it was a very busy morning, and we were kept waiting for our order, delivery of food & receipt of bill throughout the morning. The other thing that was noticed by my friend was the price had gone up, but the portion size reduced?? We expect prices to go up, but NOT for the portion to be reduced.Please look into this.

Good food and good wine. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was quite lovely. Busy and a little short staffed hence not full marks.

As always the food was excellent the service was friendly and very attentive without being intrusive. Gabby who was in charge was on top of everything she was very,very good. I just wish the a la Carter menu was changed every now and again. The special menu is good though.

Food good, staff should go on a corse on how to smile,it goes a long way. Did not pay the 12.5. Gratuity, but gave a lesser tip.

Excellent evening with all my family. We were celebrating my 78th Birthday and the staff were so good. The food was lovely and although the restaurant was packed everything went perfectly. A night to remember !

The staff were very courteous and attentive and served my friend and I complimentary bubbles to celebrate my birthday. We will definitely be back again!

we dined with Cotes for a special occasion and requested a particular table within the restaurant. Upon being seated at the table we had requested, we were presented with two complimentary glasses of prosecco! We have dined with other restaurants many times and essentially are regulars, but never have we received this! As this was our first evening dining with Cotes it really set the tone for us. The food was amazing and the desserts - even better! Would definitely go again.

Perfect evening here only suggestion would be introduce some cocktails to the drinks menu but food was amazing staff attentive and great atmosphere, a must try.

My friend and I had a lovely evening, with great food and attentive staff. We eat here regularly and always enjoy it. We are already looking forward to our next meal here

Had an enjoyable evening at Cote Brasserie, the meal was booked for 6.30 on a Friday and although early the restaurant was already bustling. We ate from the 10 year anniversary menu which catered for most tastes, came with a complimentary glass of champagne which was nice touch. Food was very nice and although it was busy the service was very good. Another great night at this lovely place.

Consistently good food in what they serve off the menu. Not necessarily that adventurous but certainly enjoyable. Have visited on numerous occasions since they opened. Not yet disappointed. Good service. Moderate cost.

Lovely meal,attentive staff,although when I booked for my birthday on line it said that we would all be given kir royale as a birthday drink,unfortunately we were not offered theses .😞

nice food plus reasonably priced plus friendly staff plus a birthday treat of kir royal. What is not to like even when it's not a celebration?!

Consistently good, well managed and attentive service, delicious food, highly recommended. Still beating the challenge of new competition and old in West Bridgford hands down!
