Average to be honest. Our waitress was pleasant and tried but the restaurant was all over the place on the night. No bread as was still being baked.. no tap water as it was still being filtered.. many dropped plates etc The menu promised but didn’t deliver. Prawn Gratinee full of croutons will not many prawns. Fish Parmentier dry. Why sell Mussels out of season ? mussels tiny and not many of them. They do know to charge, however. Very average, sad to say.

Lovely atmosphere and great service with a smile. I usually have the tuna Niçoise salad as it’s the best anywhere but decided to have the lamb rump this time and was a little disappointed. It was overpowered by the herbs and was supposed to come with courgettes and tomatoes but could only find 2 tiny pieces of each.

Excellent service, food was cooked to perfection. Wonderful friendly, helpful staff.

We sat outside as it was a lovely sunny day, which was great. My friend got there early and ordered a drink which never materialised. Our bottle of wine arrived but I had to ask for menus. We had been there 45 minutes by the time my friend went inside to try and get someone to take our order. The food came fairly promptly although my fish was over cooked and when we needed to leave, we again had to go inside on order to get the bill. 12.5% service charge added to the bill which I feel excessive for the service received.

Lunch time/early evening menu a lot less varied and interesting than in the past. It feels as if rather than raise prices cheaper food is served. We have been regulars for years and notice changes. Service always really good.

As a coeliac I was delighted to see such a wide menu choice offering very similar dishes to everyone else. I liked the 3 different menus offering anything from an informal meal to a special celebration dinner. Staff were very helpful and well organised even when busy. I would recommend this French restaurant to anyone.

Lovely breakfast. Some of our party had a full English, I had scrambled eggs and smoked salmon. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Very pleasant waitress.

Coté has been in West Bridgford for quite a while but was the only restaurant in the area I had not tried. I was pleasantly surprised that it catered very well for both myself, a vegetarian, & my meat eating husband - unusual with French dining. We will return!!

Had a very enjoyable evening with delicious food, as always. We have never been disappointed on that score. We were also very happy about the complimentary bottle of wine as a special offer. If I was forced to make any negative reply it would be that the starter arrived before the aperitif and it would have been more relaxing to enjoy the drink before embarking on the food. Plus, one of the aperitifs, a g&t, arrived half way through starter which wasn’t good. Having said that, we were not unduly rushed for the remainder of the meal which was excellent. Lovely staff. Loved the evening. Will return soon.

Staff were very helpful, particularly with our three children. Great kids menu, which all three of children enjoyed. So nice to have “proper” food, rather than chicken nuggets and chips for the children to choose from. Staff made you feel that nothing was too much bother. Would recommend and we will be back! The food was lovely and fresh, and the service was really good. Definitely recommend.

Staff excellent. Service a little slow today. My wife’s dessert was not good- creme caramel which normally is great. Today sauce burnt taste, no cream in it. They apologised and offered an alternative because the whole batch had been spoilt. Creme brûlée was good. They adjusted their bill. No other problems .

The staff are very good. However I was extremely disappointed in my main course which was the fish cake. I have been to Cote many tines but will think hard before returning.

4 of enjoyed our visit to Cote on Sunday. I had booked a table for 2o'clock but, unfortunately, my daughter was held up on her journey from Birmingham so I phoned the restaurant and they promised to keep the table for us. The service and the food were excellent, making it all a really enjoyable family experience.

The service was good and the staff friendly. My only complaint was my creme brûlée did not have the hard top that it should off . The sugar hadn’t been heated enough so there was toffee on the top and I couldn’t eat it .

Had lunch on a busy Sunday at Cote West Bridgford. Staff clearly busy but polite and concerned that we had a good experience. The steaks we had were cooked just as requested and the house red was very drinkable. Fair prices and good quality food We would be happy to visit again.

The meals, including the gluten free options, were excellent again. The staff were great and helpful. We had booked stating that this visit was to celebrate a wedding anniversary, but had to ask for complementary drinks - normally for special occasions these are offered “on arrival”. I’m not sure anyone read the booking request. We will be back in the next few months as we love the food, atmosphere & staff.

The menu is full of French classics and of good quality. Chicken and steak frites are good value with a great lobster special.

We had a really nice dinner with our kids. We tried the July specials, charentais melon with ham and lobster with fries. It was delicious. Strongly recommend.

Good food,quickly served once we placed our order. Very busy and noisy and it seemed that there were not enough waiting staff to give a good service.This was not a cheap night out and if anything the service was the let down.

Food, as always was brilliant but the service was really slow. It was busy but we felt a little overlooked as a table for 2 with bigger tables getting regular attention.

2nd time eating at a Côte Brasserie, NOT disappointing at all. Great service, great food, gluten free available, excellent value for money Only downside is not one near my home town in Chigwell ESSEX

The salad was drenched in a dressing-- too much. it would be better with the dressing served on the side. The celeriac puree was disappointing with far too much potato which did not appear on the menu. The French definition of puree is thick soup or mash /// Not potato as we were told The pork loin however was delicious. So unusually a rather disappointing meal'

Poor service. 2 Meals incorrect or had to be returned. Very disappointed

Bone in pate not acceptable. Should be bone free as bone is not normally found in pork or duck liver. Cheese hame sandwich has d crust as well as bread with pate.

Excellent dining experience. We both had lobster which was beautifully tender and very tasty. I had the prawns to start which chef cooked to my liking - without the gratinee, just lots of tasty sauce - delicious. We will be back again very soon!
