Fabulous meal and welcoming staff as always. Children’s meal was a bit cold though and had to ask waiter for the complimentary water which is why it’s not 5 stars for the food and service.

As always a lovely meal, first class service and a wonderful atmosphere. It is a joy to visit this restaurant.

Starters were a let down, not pleasant to eat but the puddings made up for them, delicious. Our Waitress was friendly and polite but she forgot to bring the coffee's with our deserts as requested.

Stunning meal 9pm on a Saturday, still a really nice ambience and grateful to get a table even if it was by the door. Black truffle hollandaise sauce for the steak was amazing.

The food was fabulous and, for a three course meal, £18:95 was more than reasonable. The French soup starter is a nice little warmer on these cooling Autumnal nights. My medium rare steak was just cooked perfectly and, as for the chocolate mousse, just delicious. Well done to all the staff. A warm welcome, delicious food and a convivial atmosphere. Thank you.

What can we say? Another lovely meal here with such excellent service and great value. We particularly like Cote for the monthly change of menu and the imaginative use of seasonal ingredients.

I visited Cote in West Bridgford for a late breakfast with my husband on our way to Nottingham. We received a warm welcome and were shown to a lovely alcove table by the window, with a nice view of the park opposite. Service was prompt. Our food and drink was up to the usual Cote high standard. Our waitress was delightful - very cheerful and courteous. Wish the staff were as friendly at Cote Brasserie in York.

We came as a family for my daughter's 20th Birthday; it was excellent - food, service, atmosphere... our first visit, but it won't be our last. Thank you.

Food quality great. Vegetables expensive....nearly £20 for 2 people. Bottles being thrown in the bin at the bar very irritating and very load when you are only 6ft away. Continued after being asked to stop. Deciding factor in not intending coming back however, is the 12.5% added to the bill. Although you could I suppose say no or offer a different amount, with the waitress hovering over you, it is intimidating. Therefore won't return when there are better value and quieter restaurants around. A shame as the kitchen staff are at the top of their game.

Unusually poor food and poor service. The mushroom and spinach pancake was virtually inedible and the poulet grillé was undercooked. The fougasse tasted stale. We are regular visitors to west Bridgford and usually have a good experience but on this occasion it was most forgettable!

Wonderful as usual staff so attentive and friendly food excellent as always definitely our favourite place but please reinstate the Breton stew it’s come off the menu?

Good menu plenty of choice and good atmosphere but unfortunately food was cold and service slow.

My hen party for 13 was a great success and was enjoyed by all - choosing the food before meant that we could enjoy the company on the night.Everyone enjoyed the food they had chosen. The staff were all very helpful, friendly and attentive. I had also been part of a group of 13 two weeks before and received the same brilliant service and food. Thank you!

As good as always, comfortable seating, quality food and excellent friendly service. Very fast food delivery and a lovely free cocktail. The only gripe I have is that I don’t like ‘optional’ service charges, I prefer to decide myself on the size of the tip I leave without having to ask for removal of the ‘suggested’ amount. Having said that, I appreciated the server asking me if I was happy to pay the full amount.

Another enjoyable meal in pleasant surrounding and friendly staff. My husband did have a problem with his meal but it was correct with no fuss.

As ever service food drinks were first class. This is my favourite restaurant and I am very choosy who I will go there with because I don’t want to spoil the dream. You are the best.
