Great food and service but very noisy by 8pm making it difficult to talk with our friends across the table. Even the waitress had problems hearing us and making herself heard!

I love this restaurant. The staff are friendly and polite and the food is always excellent real value for money. We have recommended it to all our friends.

The staff were very welcoming. The restaurant is clean and lively. It makes me feel that I am in Paris. Best thing for me is the Entrecote de veau. Just love it!

Consistently good service and food. Took the early bird option last night and it is good value. Will return and we are looking forward to the August menu.

Food was lively. Staff very good but service was a little slow. We were ladies who lunch but we were also ladies who work who lunch so we needed to get back.

We have already visited two times the restaurant as we were really satisfied after our first visit. The foods are really nice and delicious and the staff is very kind. Some of the desserts could be improved ie. chocolate pot (was grainy) and frozen berries wirh white chocolate (chocolate sauce was too buttery). The basic/house white wine tasted much better (felt fresher) than some of the more expensive ones. Apart from these personal opinions we really liked the restaurant and will return soon.

A really enjoyable evening with good food and attentive service. I had veal which was excellent and my daughter had steak which she really enjoyed. Looking forward to a repeat visit.

I have eaten here several times and the food and the service have been consistently great. Service is efficient but not hurried and the food is fresh and delicious. Not the cheapest eating out option but you get what you pay for.

Lovely atmosphere as always and food excellent. Staff are friendly and attentive but not intrusive. Restaurant and facilities are clean. A very pleasurable evening out.

We took friends there to share the 'early menu'. We all loved the variety of the Apri menu and the good value due to us being pensioners! At special times such as birthdays etc we go for the full menu and always love the quality and presentation of the food. The service of the staff is always impeccable and we look forward to our next visit - hopefully in warmer weather when we can dine al fresco!

Overall the food was nice but the service was slow, especially given that the restaurant was not full. They brought out a wrong starter and took an age to correct but one of the guests had a warm starter so had to eat his there and then whilst the others ate slow. The muscles I had with my main course could have done with a few trips to the gym and some steroids. It took 25 minutes to get a drink, not even water, after being seated at our table; presenting complimentary water at a table on arrival is not a complicated task. On paying the bill, they had charged us for the complimentary rewards bottle of wine, which was of course sorted but should not have been an issue in the first place.

Good service,food and left alone for group to chat. Peaceful. Reasonable price. The restaurant is very handy. Staff were very pleasant as the always are.

We have never been to the restaurant mid-afternoon before but we had the same excellent food and service. It was a little noisier with children crying etc, making it difficult to talk to each other, but that is not the restaurant's fault and we've been in that situation many years ago!!

Always attentive and friendly staff. Food as ever well presented and very tasty. Nice atmosphere and we enjoy the experience at welwyn coates. It won't be long before we go back.

This is my second early morning visit for the breakfast menu. The food is delicious and there is a variety to choose from. I have sampled the full English breakfast & the crepe complete, both of which I would have no hesitation in ordering again. The staff were friendly and it is a very relaxing atmosphere, making it an enjoyable start to the day.

Lovely meal and good service. Enjoyed the kirs and the mussels. The wine was great, the atmosphere was fun and we had a great time.

I was disappointed with the Chips they were not tasty at all. I also paid £29.00 for a bottle of Flueri that was average. That apart the service was good and the staff as always were excellent.

we eat at Cote Welwyn Garden City often both by ourselves, with friends and with large groups - we always really enjoy the food . The staff are always very friendly and organised - in our opinion it is the best restaurant in Welwyn Garden

Loved it we go to this restaurant often and it never lets us down today we brought our family for lunch and they really enjoyed it

Staff were lovely. Venue great but two out of the three in our party suffered from diarrhoea a few hours after we'd eaten so because of that would not recommend

Good as always but it’s an understaffed restaurant and the ambience is almost ruined by the few staff rushing around. They’re lovely and the food is good so I’ll keep going. One of the best restaurants in Welwyn Garden City.

Service and food were great! Staff were very friendly and efficient. We enjoyed sitting outside in the sun for a change too! Will be back soon

Good food, atmosphere and friendly but professional service. We ate early evening and the restaurant had a number of diners, not too noisy though - always a bonus!

Mostly efficient service although our side order was temporarily forgotten but then brought out in good time and we weren't charged for it! Good food!

Good quality good adequate choice from set menu with fast and efficient service. Bottles of water are a nice touch if somewhat heavy. Shame the promotional voucher for a bottle of wine had now ended which I was holding onto for my next visit.

Very friendly and helpful staff, good meal, reasonable selection of wines by the glass. The main room just needs more soft furnishings to deaden the noise to make it excellent.

Nice welcome Great service . We had the early evening menu two courses and they were delicious. The only problem with Cotes is the price of a small beer. Pints would be better!

Starters all arrived separately and the kids main meal arrived with the starters. One of the steaks had to be sent back as it was overdone.

Well cooked and presented, with knowledgeable and friendly staff. The surprise complimentary birthday desert with its candle and singing waiters for my wife was a very pleasant added touch!

We had the set menu, three courses for £12.95 - excellent. The plaice fillet with leeks was particularly good. The service was very friendly as well.

incredibly slow service to get served, waiting too long between courses and keep having to ask for something. The restaurant was very quiet so no excuse for poor service. Despite this we then paid 12.5% service charge which was added to the bill!

Though the restaurant was a little too noisy for my mother who has some hearing loss and found it difficult to hear us, the food was of the usual high standard and service was efficient and pleasant.

A very pleasant experience with friendly staff ,excellent food ,and a warm atmosphere . The wines were reasonably prices and well presented . As always the restaurant was clean and toilet facilities excellent.

Wonderful food, wonderful wine and wonderful welcome. This was our first time at Cote Brasserie, being new to the area, and we were certainly not disappointed. We choose to eat early so it was quiet but a lovely way to spend a couple of hours with a fine wine and a relaxed atmosphere. We will be returning !!

Great menu great service! The restaurant was quite empty when we arrived but quickly filled up. We needed gluten free for one of our number and the manager personally gave guidance which was most appreciated
