Just a really lovely family evening with our teenager son and daughter. Yummy food, attentive service and a great happy atmosphere at Cote Welwyn Garden City. Thank you!

Good service and pleasant meal my chicken was over cooked but not worth sending back. God value and food very tasty. Fixed menu has its good and bad months but we visit at least twice a month.

Although very busy we received good service and a wonderful meal. Menu choice is varied so there is always something for someone. Quality of the food is always excellent.

Really nice stuff, the food is good as well, the steak is an exception though.... But overall it was good, and I would definitely recommend it

Though it was a little difficult to catch the attention of serving staff, the service was very pleasant and efficient and our lunch was excellent, beautifully cooked sea bass, with crisp skin and delicious fennel base.

Immediate welcome by young woman who remembered that my daughter had called in earlier to choose our table! Whilst waiting I found the music irritating, but very pleasant room with different levels, plus attractive outside tables. Tables along benches very close together so would feel cramped if full. Service was fine and so was the food - good to see that there is a changing and seasonal menu as well as the regular favourites. Côtes is not going to set the world on fire but the cooking is reliable and considered. A very enjoyable meal, and a good place for a long unhurried chat. (Maybe they turned the music down!)

Such a friendly place. Loved our breakfasts - all four meals were perfect. We loitered uninterrupted for a couple of hours looking out over the fountain and the outside dining area. Superb!

My husband, son and I visited this restaurant and was overwhelmed by the quality and standard of food. We will definitely be going back. Would highly recommend it. It has now become a favourite place to eat. The staff are nice and friendly. It is in a nice location and the restaurant is very classy inside. The food is reasonably priced.

I like this restaurant a lot, great service, nice bright space and good food. I would recommend it to anyone who likes European cuisine and drink.

Carrotts were missed off of the order, and when they did come, most of them were rock hard. Food was good other than that. Will definitely dine with you again.

Very good service and food. Restaurant could do with a good dusting though; there was a lot of dust on the lamp over our table and on the fittings in the restaurant.

Lovely food, good service. Small point- there was an optional gratuity added to the bill, I was happy to pay it but would have appreciated being asked rather than it being assumed when the credit card machine was handed back to me with it included.

Lovely food and great staff. Only thing is would have liked poached eggs to runny. Nice way to start the week. Defo go back for brekkie.

Cote is our favourite local restaurant and our visit tonight did not disappoint. It has a lovely ambience and great service but it is the quality of the food that makes it special and todays was rump of lamb served with roasted fennel - delicious.

Excellent service very very good response to my gluten free diet it was no trouble at all. Good food lovely staff who were also very good with my 94 year old mum will definitely be going there again.

We were sitting near the door and it was very draughty especially when people were talking in the doorway. The meal was lovely as usual. The service was ok.

Nicco and the team made us feel really welcome. Our waitress was friendly and looked after us. The food was fantastic and we made a couple of choices from the Specials which were amazing. Well done!

The food was excellent, and the free bottle of Merlot, couldn't have been bettered. It made the whole evening most enjoyable. The ambiance was very good, and not too busy for what we had hoped would be a quietish Tuesday.

The restaurant's twinkly lights are inviting on a dark night. We were made to feel welcome in a warm and friendly manner by the staff. Food good. There is a vegetarian menu if wanted.

Excellent meal with friends who also enjoyed it. The anniversary bottle of wine was a good bonus. The duck was cooked to perfection. We are becoming regulars!

Food was amazing only problem service was a bit slow. We spent along time trying to get the severs attention thoughtout the night , to place orders, get our bill.

Food was not band but when we order coffee had to wait 20 minutes gave a reminder that we will pay the Waitress said I will knock the coffee of the bill Off the bill we never had it to knock off anyway

The Welwyn restaurant has a great atmosphere and friendly, helpful staff combined with great food, you can't go wrong here. Never had a bad meal.

Had the crab mayo starter and the chicken and potato gratin main, as usual the food was great, service fast, staff friendly, always an easy reliably good meal :)

A very enjoyable evening. The varied menu meant there was something for everyone's taste. Service was attentive and food was good. Not sure if I like the idea of service charge being added by the venue as I like to know that the tip goes to the waitress etc and is not used as part of their wages.

My wife ordered half a roast chicken and this was served as two very skinny chicken legs with little flavour. I ordered the steak frites but again this was flavourless. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

I was disappointed with the service on Sunday lunchtime not enough staff so service very slow. No coffee ordered as order not taken because staff so busy that no one came to take order. Food enjoyable and staff polite friendly and efficient when serving us. This is not the usual service I have received on other occasions.

Great food, good service, not expensive for the standard of food. The set menu is brill value for money, the steak is good as well.

My cheese omelette came without the cheese in it and when I queried it, the waiter went to check with chef and said he'd get me another omelette. Instead, he brought out a pot of grated emmental, by which time, the omelette was cold and the cheese didn't melt. Not quite the same. Very disappointing. The accompanying house salad was also sparse and the plate not hot.

Staff attentive and meals tasty and well presented. Excellent choice of both a la carte and specials. Look forward to returning when next in the area.

Perfect except that it was noisy and we had to raise our voices to be able to hear each other. Would definitely go again but ask for a table in a quieter area. Service was great and we didn’t feel rushed ... or neglected!

Only disappointment was that two of us wanted the fish on the 'specials' menu but there was none left at 8pm on a Saturday night. Shame as it sounded delicious.

Excellent service and beautiful food. The ambience of this restaurant is great, can't believe it used to be our pizza hut and real china restaurants!!!Keep up the good work. The restaurant manager when we went was so helpful and attentive to all her customers.

Breakfast was good but service was terrible, long wait before order taken, longer wait for food to be delivered and even longer wait to get the bill. Will not go back for breakfast again
