Great restaurant, reasonable price, server was very friendly and the food was delicious as always

The overall experience was good as always but my duck breast had obviously been under the hot lights for quite some time as it was quite dried out. Didn't make a fuss as the the restaurant was busy. We are very regular customers st Welwyn Garden City and the staff are great.

Very good food and staff were good. Decor very nice had a lovely relaxed feel

Excellent choices and food presentation and very tasty too. Service was prompt despite a virtual full house at lunchtime on a Tuesday.

After a very unusual disappointing visit... no water or drinks offered within first 20 minutes on arrival, long wait for starter and then again for main, tepid main courses eventually arrived and were just about warm. However, excellent management action at the end by apologising for poor service and reducing our bill.

The service and food /drink we received was excellent This coupled with the complementary free bottle of wine made the evening represented excellent value for money

Wonderful evening meal with my family of four. Food was very fresh and tasty. Service was perfect.

Food was good. Wrong pudding was brought to the table, but soon rectified. However, despite the restaurant being quiet, it took far too long to get the bill and then another wait to actually pay.

Always a pleasure visiting this restaurant. Great value set menus if visiting between 12midday and 7pm as well!

Another very enjoyable meal, made even more enjoyable with a complimentary bottle of wine! As always the staff were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Cote never fails. Looking forward to my next visit.

Slow service, no personality of staff, no apathetic approach to service, no toilet paper in toilets, but the food was lovely.

Excellent service from all and excellent food, as always. We're also getting used to and getting a taste for the alcohol-free cocktail!

Excellent food and a welcoming atmosphere. The food was very tasty and all four of us enjoyed our meal. The waiter was friendly but it was very busy and we had to wait to get attention. That wouldn't normally be a problem but we were on our way to the cinema. This is my favourite restaurant in WGC and we will definitely visit again soon.

We met up with some friends by coincidence and decided to sit together, we ordered the garlic bread as a starter which was burnt black on the bottom, we ate most of it and decided to say nothing as it was just one thing. When our meals arrived mine which was a simple omelette was literally liquid inside and inedible. My husband fetched the server who took it back and had another prepared by the time it arrived of course everyone else had finished which left me very self consciously eating alone. I appreciate these things do sometimes happen but with something as simple as an omelette you wouldn’t have expected this.we will visit again as we are generally not dissatisfied and hopefully this is a one off .:)

We had a friendly welcome, Seated a our table with a pre-ordered drink, Were served well and looked after well, especially as we were two widowed ladies. Our waiter made sure we were happy, also another young lady enquired if we were OK. The food was good and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Thank you.

Food was pretty good. My wife had the fish stew which she said was very good snd my steak was perfectly cooked. The service was good despite the restaurant being busy, so a pleasant experience

French onion soup tasted like stock with onions, stroganoff ok but not brilliant and would be better with rice than pasta. Wine good.

We have been to Cote several times as the customer service is excellent and food is very good. The manager I think maybe mark? Shows how customer service should be done.

We love the special arrangement for our parents’ anniversary. We were offered free drinks due to the celebration. The food is lovely and the service is great.

Its a shame as you produce such good food at Cote here, that the chef(s) isn't visible to customers. Its all part of the dinning experience and they do so well.

Tables are too packed in which makes it not a place I would go for a Romanic dinner again. Food we good, but I would expect that at the price you are charging. Nice food though and good service.
