Went in for snacks and drinks with a friend-I had the cheese board and loved the tomato salad as a side- both were delicious. Staff were friendly but not pushy - we took ages to order as we were chatting! They gave us space but were attentive. Love jazz type music in the background. Great experience- thank you

Three of us ordered from valentines menu. Disappointed that there was no duck available. 2 of us ordered chocolate fondant with cinnamon ice cream, however we were served a very small scoop of vanilla. We queried this and eventually told that there was no cinnamon available. We weren’t told this when ordering nor when it arrived....only when we asked...Disappointing!

A nice relaxing meal, good atmosphere, usual great food, hot soup tender steak and usual fantastic cream caramel (but don't tell anyone else!), and lovely welcoming staff.

The service was good and the food was very tasty. I had scallops which were excellent. My steak was good and the creme brûlée was very good too. There’s a good atmosphere in the restaurant. We enjoyed it.

I would have thought after having given a credit card to book a table I would have liked a bit more welcoming service, I was offered a table which wasn't big enough for one and this was a valantine dinner? The food was ok could have been a lots better and warmer

I popped in for breakfast twice this week. Had the vegetarian breakfast on both occasions, I am not a vegetarian but this is so good I can't resist! Great value breakfast deal including drinks. Attentive, friendly staff and linen napkins. Lovely!

This is a good place to have a weekend breakfast. Booking is recommended as the place gets busy.

Very last minute booking on a Sunday night for 6 people, as we had been let down by another restaurant with only half an hour to go. The Cote staff were welcoming and as they discovered that it was a celebratory meal, they made it special with a candle on dessert for the birthday boy. Service by the staff was friendly but professional and attentive. Background music was discreet, and did not interfere with conversation. At no time did we feel rushed, and with excellent food, and a relaxed atmosphere, a lovely evening was spent in Cote.

We arrived and found that our preferred booked table was occupied. The manager was most apologetic, and the found us an excellent table, that was better than the one we had booked

Celebrated Mum's 80th birthday here. The staff were excellent, and the atmosphere was good. My rib-eye steak cooked to my preference (med rare) was very chewy and sinewy, apart from that everybody enjoyed their food. I didn't complain about the steak at the time as I didn't want to be waiting for it to be replaced while the rest of the family were still eating and then would have been waiting on me. I did inform the server afterwards who offered an apology and advised me they would have replaced it. That aside we had a nice evening and would return again.

I was not in the mood to go out for dinner at all tonight I’d just been to gym and wanted a quiet night with scrambled eggs on toast in front of the TV but was suddenly put in the position to help out someone and take them out for dinner. I went to Côte Brasserie in Welwyn Garden as I’ve always an overall good experience there. Tonight was better though as upon arriving, a new manager Mark greeted us and after asking how my day was and I replied that it could have ended better, he said he would see that it will. He did just that because his attention to detail in seeing that we were well looked after and making sure we were having a good time left me walking out the restaurant in much better spirits and happy that I’d got out of my tracksuit and given up the sofa night for a really enjoyable and entertaining dinner. Thanks Mark, you’re a top manager and have excellent customer relations skills.

I eat at Cote regularly and have never been disapointed. The food is fabulous with regular favourites in addition to monthly specials. The service is always friendly and attentive. I especially enjoy receiving the Complementary Cocktail offer, it reminds me to book!

Just a little warm in the building last night. Also, we always seem to get the 'freebie' put on the bill - yeterday it was the bottle of wine. Easy to remove of course, but a bit unnecessary. Otherwise, good service, excellent food.

Yummy food and friendly but slow service (the drinks came after the food was brought at the table). Maybe another pair of hands might help speed things along.

Great food, and great service. Atmosphere was friendly and busy with everyone having a great time. Free bottle of wine deal was a treat - we had the Merlot which could have been very ordinary but it was smooth and tasty. Thx again Cote WGC - you never let us down.
